    Born too soon. No one I know in my age group (70s) acknowledges this. And the stigma, distrust remains.

    According to a Gallup poll in America, more than one in five Gen Z women identify as bisexual. Of course, they have to be careful about unicorn hunters, which is a problem for the FLINTA community.

      As a pansexual trans woman happily married to a woman I'm completely invalidated lol. "You're just a straight man married to a woman "

    I'm actually 'try'-sexual, I will try anything with anyone, anywhere, anytime for any reason whatsoever - or not, especially when I become ''why-sexual'' which is when I ask myself ''why bother with sexuality", sex and money often ruin perfectly good friendships because many people value sexuality more than authenticity and soulfulness which transcends sex and gender

    For one of the ending questions, "biromantic" may be a useful term. I consider myself bi and asexual, so in a situation where the clarity is needed, it feels more proper to describe myself as "biromantic, asexual."
    In the same vein, you could be biromantic and heterosexual, people are complex.There are probably people who are heteroromantic and homosexual, even. Takes all kinds of kinds.
    *edit2:* As an anecdote, I have a friend who is biromantic and heterosexual. She has no sexual interest in women, just men. So if you are feeling weird or alone, you are probably cool and have community, just gotta find your people 🙂
    *edit3:* regarding getting more straight friends-- I believe it's more about members of minority groups finding other people in those groups so that you can be yourself.

    I wish people would stop referencing the 2019 large sample size genetic study on a genetic marker for rates of life time sexual contact with members of the same sex as debunking the genetic basis for homosexuality. Sexual attraction is obviously governed in significant ways by our genetics, hell in some animals we can even manipulated their genes to alter their target mates. And even more to the point there is a study out of China and Europe that identified two polymorphic genes that they can analyze and accurately identify those who are gay or straight in men at least. This just went up and the study was from 2 years ago. There is a preference for a language and rhetoric of fluidity and that poopoos what it characterizes as essentialism a term that is only an intellectual problem in discissions of homosexuality and is not held by most people they peg with the term. but it is this weird prejudice in academics that means no one even bothers to look for such articles and findings.

    People can be bisexual if they choose to be. It just takes having an open mind, and finding the right person. :)

      You mean identify as bi? Because no one chooses to whom they are attracted to or who they have a crush on...

    • @andrew20146
      @andrew20146 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don't think you can choose to be bisexual if you are strictly homosexual or heterosexual. I'm sure those folks can try sex with genders they are not attracted to, but they can't choose their attractions.

    • @beautifulgirl219
      @beautifulgirl219 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@andrew20146 Or they haven't met the right person yet that causes them to feel that attraction. Easy to think you're strictly one thing until you discover you aren't. :)

    1:14 What is ‘multiple genders’? 😃
    ‘Bi’ means ‘two’. A bisexual person is romantically/ sexually attracted to both men and women. That’s it.

    • @nightfighter7452

      Bisexual, when first coined, actually referred to the "same" gender and "other" genders
