The show is the best
Rudeus begins a weird, but he grows up. It's a really good show in a lot of aspects with a big and top world building.
try to watch and react to "the time i reincarnated as a slime" THIS ONE IS GOOD anime also you guys will like it!!!

It's the best at the moment. The storytelling is so good, and Rudy as MC has a lot of ways to grow up as a character, and he is also quite realistic if you compare him with any other MC.
Also, they created a new studio just for this anime; imagine that?
which means the Light Novel is very popular in Japan, and it got rank 4 for the best LN in Japan this year.
This show will have some weird moments in it in its early stages when dealing with some of rudys.. preferences from his past life, but his struggles and development throughout this show is very very good. Its genuinely a really really good isekai with amazing animation and great characters, I hope you enjoy the ride!
The only reason this anime weird it's because the MC was Weird. The anime not weird but the MC is. 👍

@@schoolsenpai773that's why he was still a Pedo and did weird shit until he met Ruijerd, who was like a father figure to him. Rudy was in fact motivated to do retarded shit because he was encouraged by his peers because "middle ages" and he's nobility. That's why he didn't SAd Eris in trip, like he did back in the city, because Ruijerd was like "No, No, you don't do that as a knight" and Rudy respected Ruijerd a lot lot.

It is in fact one of the best, mostly cuz it is directed to understand how hard it is for someone to change, even when given benefits in life

Omg i hope they continue this series its such a good story that has everything you honestly possibly could want .. action , mystery , lore , romance , drama , characters AND character development
i hope yall enjoy it but you are right this is aimed at a more "mature" audience. there are going to be a lot of uncomfortable scenes and topics brought up especially early season 1. but its trying its best to go for "realism" so your mileage may vary but i hope you can enjoy the show

Agreed! There are "weird" and potentially uncomfortable parts in this series, but all of it really does have purpose in the overall story. They are not just "thrown" in for shock value or as fan-service.
Pay attention to the details, because there is a lot of information in each episode that will become part of future episodes. This is an amazingly well-thought out series. So just like the first episode already introduces you to a structured magic system, the author has an entire world that he has already "explored" and is introducing to us a little at a time through Rudy's eyes.
This show is the best isekai ever for sure in term of storyteller and character progression, even though it cut something out from the light novel version.

Oh yeah power system in this anime so complex, and the detail is insane they have their own rule for fighting so they not gonna make it carelessly because there's a rule.
Fun info. Mushoku was the first isekai to transition isekai into a more mainstream audience within anime.
Its know as the "god father" of isekai because it heavily influenced a plethera of series that came after it
WTF of curse not, u need to watch the end of this anime and Say again "Master piece" lol. spoiler the end is, "tomorrow is the final war" and he awakes old,senil and with Alzheimer and he dies... No is a Master piece is a piece of shit.
Oi how long it's been cuz, I watched it when it first aired and isekai wasn't as big back then??? Damn looking back, I didn't appreciate how crazy the animation really is

It helps from a Genre standpoint to view this Anime as a male "Coming of Age" story against an isekai backdrop, which explains much of uncomfortable and awkward "Foibles" Rudy goes through but yes, the show definitely wobbles in some of it's messaging at times especially in season 1.
Love the anime and the manga the story is gonna be very long long journey.

This the Series that I like the most. Only this Light Novel that I read until the end.
The MC is Weirdo and Pervert but it does make sense because what all the experience he had in his previous Life. This show showing us how Human actually work.

Not only is this the best isekai, it's also the best piece of fiction I've ever seen. Despite being a fantasy show, it has some of the most realistic characters out there.
If you’re not watching 1 episode a week, I think you’ll be on pace to see the second half of season 2 on time when it comes out in April
My all time favorite anime season! The way the show was directed, paced and animated left me wanting for of Mushoku Tensei. The only show that got me to read and finish the light novel(i hate to read btw).

mushoku is probably the best isekai out there, the problem is that show always goes into gray area and people really hate how rudy is as humain being, dont want to spoil anything and i want you guys to learn how to like rudy like i do. You can clearly see is progress throw out the whole story and his physical and mental stade. Truly a masterpiece
but thats like saying game of thrones is clean, this feels more "raw", think about movies and how "clean" the characgers act. real people are kinda weird normally

"The best isekai" only belongs to tensura.
Id say for adults Overlord is the best isekai. For younger or very softhearted people its probably reborn as a slime. Mushoku Tensei is a very good isekai but no where near the best
