The time has come for another 3x3 tier list! This time, we only included 3x3s that released after last year's video, which added up to 16 puzzles. Phil, Damian, Jesse, Rowe, Jules, and CubeHead all made their own tier list, and if you stick around all the way to the end of the video, you'll see an averaged tier list of all of our rankings. Hopefully this video will help you get a wide range of opinions on all of the latest 3x3s!

I have been using v9 as my main cube for a while now, and I can see how good it is when I spin it.

I like the video. I would like too see same people but instead have their main and go over the setup for it (tension, lubes and so on).
The YS3M is so slept on. It’s the RS3M, but loaded with top of the line features and the best stability/speed balance you could ask for, if you set it up right.
If there was a tier list of all tier list videos this would definitely be S tier. And I do remember Phil.

i used gan 356 m maglev (uv) , and i set up with adheron lite(2/1 drop) and gan 3 lube
Is there a way you guys keep track of all the cubes? I have a bunch of cubes not even 3x3 and its hard for me to remember which is which lol
I have a little problem. When I lube a cube (weight 5 and dnm-37) it feels really good, but if I don't touch the cube for 1-3 days it feels not as good even after a lot of breaking in. Does this happen to everyone or am I missing something?

Hey cubicle, just have a query that i am using the RS3M 2020 at the fastest setting with weight 1 lube. But it feels like sometimes the cube isnt capable of my turning. Should i upgrade?
the issue is, that changing cubes could result in the same issue, you would have to test the cubes before buying
Agree with the lists here. The MoYu 20 magnet BC and YS3M are excellent cubes. My biggest disappointment this year was the MS3R. My hot take cube- I love the MG C Evo 2. I would not main it, but it has such a unique feel- different from any cube on the market. It's my comfort cube :)

the gan 14 popping issue is just like the 12's catching issue, just bigger.
both seem to have gotton fixed.
The gan 14 pro solved the pop issue and made the cube more stable. Matty hiroto and other cubers alrady did solves and they got a lot of sub 5 and sub 4 solves, even if it isnt lubed. You should check them!!! . it got smol logo and table center caps for some reason

I hope you are enjoying it. I’m by no means an expert, and my speed cube collection is only up to 12 cubes, but my favorite so far is the GuHong Pro MagLev. Absolutely love this cube and the magnets are awesome!
i come from a valk power M that i bought in 2019.
i started cubing again as i side hobby a few months ago.
i am not planning to attend any comps but i want a new cube that feels good and makes my solving smooth.
my budget is unlimited and i’d like to get a cube from the latest technology.

If you got the budget,go for gan 12 maglev uv coated(from what I've hard the 13 and 14 are not worth it).The Tornado v3 flagship is also a great choice if you like a stable but fairly smooth cube.And finally The weilong wrm 2021 maglev if you want a very fast cube and can turn accurately.

I love how Phil didn't back down on the overproved Moyus. I was so disappointed as well since Moyu was always reasonably priced when it comes to price to performance.

Y'all should I buy Tornado v3 flagship or the Rs3m V5 Ball core?
Haven’t tried the latter but The tornado v3 flagship is a great cube with some design errors.
1.Sometimes,the magnet settings can change on their own
2.I have seen a lot of reports about the core breaking after a while

Lol only gan knows to put maglev to make cubes better (they are adding maglev to a megaminx rn). Maglev in weilong v9 and tornado v3 is not good for alot of cubers
I hate how we've transitioned to stickerless cubes. I need a new speed cube, but I refuse to buy and/or use a stickerless cube.
What would you say is currently the best black stickered speed cube? It doesn't have to be one that came out in 2024 (or even 2023) as long as you think is as good as what you'd considered to be the best speed cube (without any of my limitations above). Ideally a maglev one, I no longer have the patience to tension springs.
what's the problem with stickerless tho like it's technically the same as stickered cubes or do u have some colour blindness or something?
