  • Making a Nespresso Vertuo Latte Macchiato Coffee with Aeroccino 3.

    This Nespresso recipe uses 50ml of milk frothed in an Aeroccino 3 milk frother with a 230ml mug sized vertuo capsule poured over the top. You could also use a Barista Creations capsule or you can experiment using your best Nespresso Vertuo capsule from the mug sized range.
    We have also made a latte macchiato using the Vertuo Next machine in the past but we used a 40ml espresso capsule and an Aeroccino 4 to froth the milk. You can also use a Vertuo Plus to make this Nespresso recipe.
    Anyway we hope this Nespresso Vertuo Latte Macchiato recipe makes it onto your list of best Nespresso Recipes and don't forget to let us know if you would stir it in the comments! 😅

    That Nespresso mug glass is the perfect size for this drink.
    Thank you.

    Watched this then had to have a coffee and came back to watch again! I do this as well but if it’s too much foam for some try heating the milk in the microwave and it’s just as delicious, just not so foamy. The half decaffeinated pod is the one I use as well, gives an excellent flavour and you can have more coffee😃🤣 . I do love this coffee machine , it’s quick and easy to use and easy to clean. Thanks very much and hope you enjoyed that coffee you made!

      Nice tip and hope it helps those who struggle with the froth. I did enjoy it thanks, will be reaching for the half caffeinated capsule more often 👍🏼 Nothing like a latte macchiato video to make you want a coffee ☕️😁

    Hey, Just seen this and I make my Nespresso coffees like this all the time. I don't use clear cups so it's nice to see what it looks like, and I always stir mine lol

      Yeah it's almost therapeutic to see coffee poured this way 😅 Glad you enjoyed the video 👍

    Great video, as always. I generally won’t stir it as the point of a macchiato is to have the intensity first, with smoother milk layer following. I might give this one a go with an Intenso or Stormio capsule with some golden syrup drizzled around the edges of the mug-I use the Vertuo Mugs for my Latte Macchiato drinks anyway, as they are a great size and you can see the lovely layering. Could be nice with the Gingerbread pod as well. 👍

      Some great ideas there, will give some of them a go. Thanks. We talked about this on the podcast when we were doing that (episodes are still available). Had a friend who used to order a latte macchiato in the coffee shop and every time she’d stir it right away. The owner of the shop looked devastated as he walked off 😅

      @@A2BProductions A podcast? I’ll check that out! Have to admit, I feel a bit guilty stirring a perfectly layered macchiato.

      Mmmm is it? In Italy this doesn’t exist lol they’ll give you a cup of milk if you ask for that. Proper macchiato is barely any milk. This seems more like some Starbucks stuff

    This reminds me a lot of bartending school putting different liquids of different weight distributions in your drink to create certain creative looking drinks. Like When I learned how to make layered color cordial type drinks. Alcohol weighs less so you put something like grenadine at the bottom. Then white crème de cacao liqueur and Blue Curaçao at the top and if you do it correctly by using a careful drip method you get a nice red, white and blue patriotic layered shot. Still impresses the heck out of patrons to this day which means extra $$$ cause they think I'm some sort of special Houdini type bartender. I guess a bartender and a barista have a lot in common though. The only difference is one customer doesn't lose their inhibitions little by little per drink.

      @@A2BProductions Yeah there are a lot of similarities. When I went to bartending school we even did a lot bit of coffee/alcohol training with Irish Whiskeys and things like that. One skill set defenitly transfers over and vice versa. It's kinda like art at the end of the day.

    In the market for a nespresso machine , never had one before. Like lattes and cappuccinos usually. What machine do you suggest that I go for. I noticed you didn’t rate the next that you used in this video.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s not my favourite, I just like to mix up which machine I use sometimes 😅 I love the same coffees as you and personally I’d go for a Creatista if you don’t mind spending a bit more or a more basic machine like a Citiz and an Aeroccino 4 if you like the design. Or could go for a Citiz and milk. I just think the little extra for the Aeroccino4 is worth it. We have quite a few videos on the channel demonstrating the different frothers and machines in case they help.

      @@A2BProductions what is the reason you don't like the Virtuo Next? Have you had any issues? I noticed that your machine is plain like ours, the US version says either Breville or DeLonghi. In my country (South Africa) this is the only Virtuo line we have. Do you think there is a taste difference between the original Nespresso and Virtuo line? I want to get a Nespresso but afraid of the many issues people have with the Next

    So I recently bought a Nespresso when Bed, Bath & Beyond was going out of business and I want to ask how many times can I get out of one capsule or are each capsule a 1 time press?

    • @idkok7947
      @idkok7947 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends, the vertuo machine (large round pods) reads the inner barcode and will only dispense a set amount, whereas the original line nespresso machines (smaller cylinder like pods) you can run water through them as much as you like or plain hot water with no capsule, only downside is that more water will water down your coffee more and some people think that also tastes more bitter, I run an espresso twice through a single pod for my lattes and I enjoy it though!!.
      They are designed however to be single use one press per capsule, due to the limited amount of coffee they can fit in there.

    I'm stuck between this machine and gran lattissima has i read vertou make better tasting coffee whereas lattissima tastes normal n all pods taste same which one of those two would you recommend? Or get completely different machine?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi 👋 Personally I prefer the taste of the OriginalLine coffee to the VertuoLine but others might disagree. I also prefer coupling an aeroccino 3 or 4 with a machine or would go for a creatista over a lattissima myself... but again just one man's opinion. Maybe check out our other reviews and videos to see if they help at all 😊
