Call this me being a delusional nuggets fan, but I hated that MPJ trade. When hes hitting his shots MPJ is one of the best players I can imagine putting around jokic. Hes a big spacing wing, if he learns to play more physical and make use of his size advantage on both ends of the court I could see him being the best third option in the league.
As a Mavs fan I can say, I love dodo, and what he did for us being that primary defender for us a little while ago, but Josh green feels like he is already a better defender and as good if not a better shooter, and he's young and can develop. The only thing dodo has over him is length and size, but that's just my opinion.

Not to mention that 22 years old O-Max looked extremely good in the G-League and could replace Maxi in the rotation very soon. If Dallas gets this done, I think this would be a perfect offseason. For that Knicks trade. Are we taking minutes away from Josh hart/OG for Gary Payton? Taking minutes away from Brunson/duece/divo for moody? Knicks are fine as they stand. Only way I see them making a move is if they’re packing guys like bojan, precious and picks for a bench upgrade or a starting 2 to have Donte come off the bench. If Mitch is getting traded, it’s either for straight draft picks to free up money or it’s for another big.

They have tons of other ways to address their pg needs.
