    I'm making credit card grabbers to sell with my press on kits. I have a lot of alcohol ink so I'm excited!

    Thank you so much!!! I've been struggling with doing these. Probably putting too much resin. I use ProMarine Resin and the ones I made yesterday are bendy. My question is do you need to leave them in the mold for them to cure?? This has been the best video so far - LOVE the colors and options you made!!! FABULOUS!!!! Thank you again - definitely following and going to your website!!!

      Hello!!! Oh my goodness! Thank you!! You made my day!! To answer your question: I started leaving mine in the mold for a few days and then I let it sit for a few more days. Since it’s a thinner piece, it takes a while to become more stiff. I hope this helps!! Let me know if you have any more questions! 😊😊

    Can I torch the air bubbles and then add alcohol inks... Asking bcz they are flammable sooooo.....?

    • @craftbuggy5307
      @craftbuggy5307  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! You absolutely can torch first. I don’t have a torch and I just use a heat gun so I apply the low heat after but I have seen people torch before.

    Is it okay to add alcohol inks on top of mica powdered resin mixture?

    • @craftbuggy5307
      @craftbuggy5307  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Yes that works! I think it might be harder to see the inks depending on color mica powder used but it definitely works!

    I made these yesterday but they still haven’t cured hard have you any idea why

    • @jennuurr4019
      @jennuurr4019 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mine took a few days. But I have noticed the thinner the resin piece it does still have some flexibility 👍🏻

    • @craftbuggy5307
      @craftbuggy5307  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pauline, Jennuurr brings up a great point! The thinner the piece, the more flexible it can be. With bookmarks, it tends to stay flexible for several days depending on the type of resin used. Your resin isn’t sticky, is it?
      Thanks, Jennuurr!

    • @paulinelittler4952
      @paulinelittler4952 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@craftbuggy5307 no the resin isn’t sticky they are still flexible this morning but seem to be a little more hard

    • @craftbuggy5307
      @craftbuggy5307  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good! I’m glad the resin isn’t sticky! Yes, it might just take more time for the bookmarks to harden more and become less flexible. It could also be the type of resin. I made some earrings last month and they are super flexible still and I’m just now noticing that it’s the type of resin I used (it’s a different brand than I normally use).

    You need to tell people when they sand yo use touch up epoxy or polish pieces really well. You leave these steps out and new people don't know what to do to finish their pieces off.
