458 was expected to dominant for another couple of years, sadly Ferrari replaced it with 488. Superb driving BTW.
I love how he gives a gentle 1 finger tap of the upshift lever. So smooth and relaxed.

Amazing... on the brakes, the gas, mid-corner (fast or slow) he just had so much more pace!! Pity he didn't have another lap or two to challenge for the podium.
When you're playing need for speed and you have a full tank of nitrous and each overtake gives back nitrous.

Great driving fella! Without knowing what happened in the lead up to this race, what would you put the main reason down to your obviously massive speed difference compared to the other cars? You were braking soo much later and carrying so much more speed than anyone else it looked like you were taking candy from a baby. Do you have alot more experience on that track than the other guys or were you cutting through a pack of cars from a lower class?

Hey dude, thanks for your thoughts. Australian GT is a Pro AM championship like most GT3 series' around the world. There's a mix of fully professional drivers and amateurs within the 35 car field. This particular race had everything from ex F1 drivers to Bathurst 1000 and Nurburgring 24hr Champions. As for us, the Ferrari is well suited to street circuits and one of the best GT3 cars under braking. This was one of four of the five rounds this season that our team has scored pole position and this particular comeback is due to a pit stop penalty system in which you sit for a predetermined stationary period which increases with your seeding. It's a means of equalising the field and gives Pros no choice but to charge at full attack at all times, like in this clip! 👌
