You’ve done irreparable damage in this video. It’s unlikely those smashed egos will recover after being passed by, and chased down my a wee strom. You’re a nasty man. Well done.
Nice track and very impressive from the wee Strom. At last I can perceive the viewpoint of the young girl who snipered me at a track day thirty years ago. Small cruiser ate me and the R100RT without blinking. Brand new tyres and I was tip toeing shamelessly. She was nowhere to be seen for the second 25 minutes when I had scuffed the shine off and was looking for redemption. Probably saved me another humiliation. 😄 Great video...thanks.
That doesn't matter because a trackday rider is (usually) serious about going fast while being safer. Sure, you might get passed a lot on your first trackday, but 30 years later and probably uncountable trackdays later that's not happening anymore. And almost without exception trackday riders are slow street riders.
Man that looks like fun. Id love to do something like that. Your experience really shines against those sport bikes. Again the skill of the rider is not to be underestimated.
Great riding dude. That last corner at 7:30 looked pretty sketchy, I guess that was the brake fade? I’ll be upgrading my license soon and getting a vstrom 650 in the next few months. Glad to see it has plenty of performance available.
My front brake faded since I was trying to keep up with them, I was just braking too hard and at that very corner I did not have much feedback from the front, I tried with rear brake but the was not the best idea :) so my rear started to wobble and I left the session 2-3 minutes before it was over. Thank you!
Fuck me! Thats some impressive riding on a Strom. Pissed all over some of those sports bikes. Looked like a bit of a brown trouser wobble at about 7:35 though after you finally passed the two who were going some. Was that when the brakes went? Just got my First Strom 650XT a month or two ago. Love it.
thank you man :) I run out of the front brake and tried using the rear a bit more and the bike started to move around a bit too much. those two in front of me are Ninja's 400 and as you can see, I don't have much of the advantage over them, they had a clean ride.
Are you using your blinkers before and out of corners? Is it a track rule or habit? I have never been to a track day, just kept catching my eye when your thumb would reach out. Awesome skills though!
@@bigsinakhahahah i was thinking that i am the only one doing that while riding,i hate seeing someones blinker is on Nice riding, thinking about buying a vstrom 650,just sold my Gsxr 750 SRAD,need something comfortable for every day use and exploring/travelling and i think for a budget bike vstrom 650 is a way to go💪
I basically had to change both boots and foot pegs after that track day. Also, shifter and brake pedal as well 😊 It is scary! But if you lean more of the bike, the better the angle you get from the bike-tire.
Suberb riding, embarrassed a few bikers out there. Great to watch. Brilliant. Came back and watched it again 2 months after . What exhaust have you got on it please?
old 650 is overall very nice bike in every way, but on the track it is very easy to use 100% of it's suspension, 100% of it's brakes and 100% of it's engine. so it was really hard to and scary to go through fast corners.
Ninja 400 and Vstrom 650 have the same top speed as you could see on the straight, I have a bit more punch in the midrange but they can carry way more speed through the corner then me. I could pass them few times but we are not racing, so I had to make sure its safe for both of us. Its just a track day, and we were practicing :) My first time on the race track ever! So I liked them in front of me as well :) Vstrom 1000 would pass them with ease.
I also notice you don’t lean over your bike much in the corners. Have you found that staying centered is best? I have began experimenting with adjusting my seat position when enter corners. Do you think this is unnecessary?
Connor I was just lacking skills :) It was my first time on the track, and I was learning to do it. Now if I am going fast, I lean of the bike all the time. If I am going slow or I know there is no need to lean much I use counter steering technique.

thank you :) i got some looks but there was also some people that came to shake hands :) on the track there is always mutual respect.
I like how you instinctively cancel your signals even on track :)

So how many of these people sold their sport bikes after this?
This makes me proud owning a vstrom. although i know ill never be on a race track and not that I want to😂
Ride safe! Vstrom kicks a$$
Vozim Stroma 3 godine i znam šta je mali sposoban da uradi, ovo je prelepo za videti. Danilo, brate, svaka čast na vožnji. 👍
Vazda brate Uroše!

with his 10$ phone holder flapping in the wind - badass

i would love to see you passing people with full travel gear lol
And a passenger on the back trying to read a map as if both took a wrong turning lol

Yes, my front faded and my rear wanted to lock so...it was an interesting moment. Try to find a bike with ABS and enjoy :)
Bro you are smashing that dad bike hard! 😁
man what an awesome ride
That's just sick XD... Nice video!
thank you :)
whats all the button pressing for left hand.
what was fuel consumption during this relaxed ride?
What caused the wobble at the end when you slowed down , just pushing it to hard ? . Well done though

I'm guessing those peg feelers have totally disappeared.
I have scraped them long before the track :) after the track I have replaced footpegs completly.

I hit my pegs last week and scared the shit out of myself. I can’t imagine I was leaning more than you are in this video. Do you have modified pegs?

You dont have modified pegs? Did you find a new pair you like after this? What are they? Thanks

what bars are you runing?
Protaper Atv Hi
Suberb riding, embarrassed a few bikers out there. Great to watch. Brilliant. Came back and watched it again 2 months after . What exhaust have you got on it please?
the bike was bone stock. thank you :)
This seems almost unbelievable given my current abilities. What mods do you have I live the induction roar?
no mods really :) crash bars, fog lights, protaper bars, heated grips, panniers racks, skidplate...no mods, just touring goddies. engine, intake, exhaust are stock.
How does it feel when cornering
