1.25 tsp yeast
1 tblsp olive oil
3/8 cup warm water
salt
Filling:
400 ml can crushed tomatoes

I tried this with an oval crockpot. To cook the crust, place a metal grate over your stove burner and put the crockery on it. This elevates the crock from the direct heat. Use very low heat so as not to damage the crockery. This will take obviously take longer than pre cooking the dough in a frying pan but it is possible.
I love that this video was just about cooking. No pretense of hiking, just slow cooker magic. Best cooking channel ever! (I'm not saying I don't like the outdoor stuff as well. It's just that this is the most hard to describe channel ever. "hey, you have to watch this guy ForestyForest on TH-cam" "what's he do?" "He makes crockpot meals in his van and goes on hikes" "w..uh..?")

There's this moment in your video when you pull out the pizza out of the slow cooker, and you have this great big smile, that made me pause. I think because you have to cook all your meals and you don't have 24/7 access to delivery, fast food or a wealth of supermarkets and food options, you really relish and enjoy your food. It's special because you took the time and effort to make it and it's a joy every time, as opposed to living in the city where food is so abundant, easily accessible and instant, that it just becomes common and no longer an "event" like it is for you. It really made me pause and reevaluate my relationship with food to just see that moment. Your videos really are something else Foresty Forest! :)
When you are browning your dough, prick it with a fork (it's called docking) ,that should keep the pizza dough from bubbling up

That van looks so damn cozy and comfortable. It seems that you have all you really need in that small space. And with the ability to take that space anyplace your heart desires, man, you are livin' the life.
You have that deep dish pizza perfected in the crock pot. When Kmart went out of business in my area, I bought a bunch of those crock pots on sale. Never wanted to run out of them. They are really the bomb IMHO for meal preparation and perfect for frugal living to stretch a meal out. So enjoy your channel , your adventures and your innate culinary skills. Thank you for sharing.

Just a heads up that you can cut back on yeast sometimes in most bread and pizza dough recipes. It depends how long you want to wait for the bread to rise. At times like this when yeast is scarce you could go almost in half. 🍕🍞

Hey bro you're probably my favorite TH-camr I love all your content I hope you make lots more videos I especially like the winter stuff you might have to move to Antarctic so we can keep seeing you living out of your van in the snow. I watch the whole commercials so you can make out of Revenue and I like them when they're good. I love to do this someday end stop paying rent I'm 47 now and don't know how long I have before I can't accomplish it.
