I also cannot go back to invest in Kenya until they elect leaders that have the country at the forefront of their agenda and not their stomachs. Diasporans should actually decide to starve our countries of FDI and remittances to teach them a lesson
Oh sorry to read that about Kenya. I thought that the recent election in Kenya was free, fair and transparent. I don't know why African leaders prefer to be behind their western counterparts. They have no shame being the bottom of the class. How do they even face the leaders of other nations when they go for say UN meetings?

I don’t blame you. I decided I’d rather have rental properties abroad than in Nigeria. I’m glad I went that route. Things work in the US. I have recourse than in Naija where tenants won’t pay and the courts will drag their feet till chickens grow teeth. Not that I don’t have, but it’s family property and we try to rent to only companies.
Problems everywhere you look yet they want us to keep doing all the work under very frustrating conditions. There's a limit to what even the most patrotic Nigerians will take. We pause!

I am encouraged by your words, and I must confess, I am very careful whenever I travel down to Nigeria and home investment is not home investment for me based on what you have made mentioned. Apart from building a home house, nothing works again. Investment is not investment at the moment. I hope things change with time. We are still hopeful for Peter Obi.

For years now government bonds are not even lucrative so what are you saying? With the percentage of my income that goes to philantropy, I am already doing more than enough of what the government should be doing in the lives of Nigerians.
