Stick shift is true racing. You have to be a bad a%$ to race this class. I don't know how any manual trans will hold up to that kind of power! Great Job to the both of you!!!
Thing is impressive and a badass engine for sure but the fastest h pattern car in the world right now is powered by a bowtie block small block Chevy. No billet block there that's mind blowing impressive imo.
@@bobsmith-qz2pv true but a billet block doing something isn't as impressive as a cast block doing it imo regardless of displacement. No discredit to either team or engine base they are both killer designs in their own way and the teams and drivers are top tier for sure.
@@bobsmith-qz2pv besides that before they went to the bowtie block they where almost as fast with a oem LT1 casting block that would've came in that car not many other engine manufacturers make an oem casting that can take that type of abuse.

Not really, hes nowhere near the fastest SBC. As far as American V8s go the Chevy small block has more development behind it than any other engine. Grubworm is still on conventional 23* heads, theres tons of room for improvement in that setup.
Mad about what? Lol Grubbworm is the fastest e.t . 6.61... Grannas speed was cooking tho. When it's time for world cup maybe that inline six might get another shot at the mean small block v8. Why is that insane ,You ever use a Gopro mount he just tighten enough nothing insane about it, I seen Gopro's on top fuel cars do just fine and he accelerating like they do so.
Better question is what exactly is NOT a supra part on it? I guess the billet block and the 4-link rear suspension setup? all the body parts, doors, hatch, front bumper are bolt-on OEM replacements, similar to a carbon fiber hood... so if you bolt on a carbon hood to your mustang is it no longer a mustang? Maybe that does not apply to doors, fenders, and bumper though? The only thing that really is no longer a bolt-on deal is the new 4-link suspension. Previous to this, all the 6 second passes were made on a bolt-in IRS rear setup. The entire frame (other than the front 16" or so), body, floor inside structure is still Toyota. Only recently to fit this new four link setup was the rear floor / rear seat buckets removed to make room for the 4-link to fit.
@@GrannasRacing If you "bolt-on" a Supra rear bumper cover and driver's headlight to a Mustang does that make it a Supra? ;) Because honestly that looks to be about the only OE Supra left on your race car besides maybe the center 1/3rd of the frame not chopped. 4:08l Baltic Supra is in the same boat, a 7 sec street-able Supra but is now slowly changing to be NOT street-able because the faster he wants to go, the more he will have to cut out the street-able portion of the Supra .. At some point, the faster you want to go, 1 has to give and that give is going to be the ability to street drive it because your passion is to go faster and faster because thats THE GAME .... Faster and faster will override the ability to street drive it.
