You should have brought yourself a couple of bags of ice and put them in the cool box with the food.
I’ve managed without a fridge for over a year….it’s this hot spell u do need ice. Forget milk, use powdered milk. Use veg and cheese within 2 days. Cook meat within 24 hrs, and eat it lol. Pasta Noodles Jars of Olives Peppers etc Sachet foods and Tinned foods are best in a heatwave with no fridge
yeh used to do that with the cooler box, its becomes a bit more difficult when i want to stay away from towns and such and be out the way, if it was just me i could survive on dried pastas and loads of other bits but with the channel ppl want to see me cook up something different meaning i need to carry it with me, hopefully i can get the fridge sorted

So love your infectious love of life, its a joy to watch the cooking was excellent no burnt bits this time. I was thinking of how different everything would look with snow on the ground so bet its just as beautiful but very cold
wont be long until we find out ... couple more months 😉, to be fair its quite an easy to access bothy could be an option in winter

I freeze up sum 1 litre bottles of water and put them in the chilli water stays frozen and I hav extra drinking water on day 3... I saw it from another TH-cam channel and tried it and it solved my issue.
I love your witty humour and your adventures. Thankyou for the time and energy to bring us another great exploration of the land of my ancestors that I will never get to see in person or walk the same land they did before they arrived here with the white wave of colonisation.

looks like we both got lucky with the weather, we are week 2 in scotand and most of the days have been glorious sunshine, get used to the kilt, take it from me once you get past the stigma, they are the most comfy garment to wear

If you're in the vicinity of Loch Morlich worth stopping there for a while to check out the fantastic beach. Scenery is stunning, you won't be disappointed. Top marks for wearing the kilt 👏👍.... especially when the midgies were out!

Great to see and watch the footage of my local area.
There was a bigger co op further along road towards the out door swimming pool. Soo drove past the chipper that was home of the deep fried Mars bar, fish suppers are as good as you can get.

It may be the fridge that is playing with the EcoFlow, considering that the fridge works fine on 12V from the car. Nowadays all them damn devices are build to 'manage' the battery on default settings, with their developers' false anticipation of that THEIR device is the most important in any camping setup - try check out the settings on the fridge, because it can't play with the car battery 🙂 And, in all fairness, it could also be the EcoFlow's settings that tell to cut-off after a certain amount of hours/minutes
yeh cheers, there are some weird dc setttings on the ecoflow to do with amps 2,4,8 i honestly havent worked out whats what with them i run it on 8amp which ive assumed it the best for it but maybe not

I was told that if you burn a pine cone it gets rid of the midges. I think they must instinctively think there is a forest fire and leave or a substance inside the cone is harmful to them.

Scottish midges do enjoy a nibble on a chipolata sausage every so often 😬 But never feed the wildlife! 🤣
