He is surely a great teacher... But in the world most teachers are not like this guy... But there are more teachers today and some of them are fantastic! Just in the US you have Machida, Paul Enfield, Rick Hotton... These are some of the best... I guess there are many others I don't know. Morio Higaoona was teaching in the US for years...
I learned that from him at a seminar. I missed him three times with sidekicks as he slid back. I decided to throw the 4th kick deeper and he rush ran through it. At that moment I was really glad it was just a seminar. That was about 40 years ago in Christiansburg Va.
Hey Jeff Semper Fi! 3/7 checking in here. Small world, I am currently taking classes from Grandmaster John Graham, who trained with and was good friends with Joe Lewis. Master Graham is also a former Marine. I feel like we always kind of find each other you know?
I don’t care what kind of black belt you are it only takes one punch to knock somebody out all that moving around don’t mean Nothing😮 Be like water flow flow and flow some more
@nicholasgreen339 I'm pretty sure Joe mastered these concepts from participating in many competitions, something Bruce didn't do. Plus, anyone and everyone who practices any kind of sparring will absolutely have to learn movement and timing in one form or another.
I sure miss having this fantastic human being among us. Im so glad I got to meet him and attend a seminar of his. RIP Joe Thanks for posting
One of the best if not the best. Those were the glory days of karate.

So much knowledge just plain years of experience. Mr. Lewis is one of a kind.
Thanks for these !!! I was there back in the day, point fighting and full contact in the P.K.A. in a stable with 3 world champs in Atl. Great times!!!

@@teamfearlessmartialartsfitness Joe Lewis sharing Bruce Lee's JKD in fruition here.
Trash karate stances easily destroyed that's why you don't see this garbage in k1, glory, Burmese boxing or Thai boxing
@@christopheclugston You're right, Karate does suck for the most part. However, Joe Lewis does JKD, not Karate, since 1968.
@@jkdfighter4964 I guess you have no clue who I am
Ha…, three of my sensei’s, trained with all of them. Joe Lewis, Ron Weaver and Larry Campbell. RIP Joe. 😞
