This is going to be a tough transfer for Turner, Pepi, and Haji as their respective club had just recently bought them at this beginning of this season. Especially for Haji as Coventry bought him for $9 million and is the most expensive player for that club.
If Forrest went down and they were forced to sell there current starter I’d be fine with him staying but non of that looks like it’s gonna happen. I still think championship is the right move for him
Gio - Big 3 Eredivisie. Get consistent playing time and European football for a few years. Turner - Championship. It is his level at this stage. Pepi - stay put or maybe Belgium or Austria for minutes for a year with a European qualified club. Sargent - love the Bundesliga. Mid table team though. Wright - Stay put. I don't mind another year in the Championship. CCV- Mid table Bundesliga is his level. Tim Ream - Bundesliga. I actually think the way he plays he could play until he is 40 at a pretty high level, but no longer with the intensity of the EPL. The Bundesliga is slower, allows for more recovery with shorter season and winter break. Could be a mainstay at mid table Bundesliga club for 2-3 years.
No, don't agree with McKennie moving - he's punching above his weight in Juve where for some reason he fits well. Allegri sucks but why would he leave?
money. juve are going to lower his salary cuz of their financial situation and he doesn't want to take a pay cut so he rejected his contract extension. they'd be willing to sell him cuz he's an asset they can actually get some money for, and he'd like to go somewhere where he gets paid equal to or more than he's getting now.
I'm a Celtic fan. As much as I would hate to lose CCV, you are absolutely correct. He should definitely bounce. The Scottish League is quite weak. Honestly, I have my doubts that even Celtic and Rangers would do well consistently against MLS competition. The rest of the league is by far inferior to MLS. When fit (injuries plagued him this season), he is by far the best Center Back in the SPFL. I also agree that it's unlikely that he'll bounce. He spent several years on serial loan duty before arriving at Park Head. Suddenly, he found a place where he is the number one option, where he makes £1.5 million/year, and where he is truly loved by some of the most devoted fans on the planet. Honestly, I don't blame him for staying.
Plus, there's Champions League action on the table for one more season (of course, I'm confident Celtic will win the league). If Celtic don't win the league, then I can see CCV leaving over the summer. This Celtic squad will need some renovating over the summer. Will the Board spend the money for quality upgrades? Will Rodgers be able to pick his players? If that's not likely to happen - *and* there's no Champions League - then I think CCV goes.
@@tripperdelaluna1 As much as I would like to believe that to be true, I have serious doubts - especially this season's version of both clubs. Celtic are almost certainly going to win the league, but have dropped points with alarming regularity to some very weak sides. They were beaten *TWICE* (by 2 goals, each time) by Hearts. Celtic seem to lack two things: quality in the final third, and the ruthlessness and focus to put an end to the fight. It's been maddening to watch. Rangers, I'm delighted to say, are even worse on both counts. If, God forbid, I were a Rangers fan, I would be at Ibrox with torches and pitchforks demanding the ouster of anyone in any kind of decision making role. Don't get me wrong. Celtic would be amongst the best sides in MLS. But dominate the league? I hardly think so. I can think of a half dozen MLS clubs who could beat Celtic. And stylistically, they don't match up with the top half of the LigaMX table at all. And Rangers against the best of MLS and LigaMX? Against some clubs, they might stand half a chance - others, they'd be put to the sword.
@@nicholasjagneaux I don't see the appeal of being a sacrificial lamb for legitimate Champions League competition. I really don't. As much as I would love Celtic to matter in European competition, the cold truth is, they don't. It pains me to say it - truly, it does. I want my club to regain some continental prestige. I want Celtic Park to strike fear in the hearts of even the best clubs in the world. Alas, it just ain't so. The best thing I can say about Celtic's gutless, unimaginative board is that Rangers' board is far worse. Sometimes players do not fit a system or have personality conflicts with a manager. But with Gio Reyna, who had some success on the field with Dortmund and at times shows obvious skills, one wonders whether the rumors about his practice habits are valid. Finding the right coach and situation to allow him to grow is important. He is still a very young man and we would like to see him succeed. But if he is his own worst enemy, the question is whether he can overcome that.
Carter-Vickers per Larry Henry has interest from Brentford, and West Ham and Im sure there are other Premier League Teams looking at Cameron That could use him. I actually think Cameron would do well in the Bundesliga or Serie A but given his English Roots he'll probably still want to play in England even though I'd worry he might not start. Idk
As long as Celtic stay in the Champions League next season, I see him staying with Celtic. (However, the current Celtic squad is a mess and needs several key pieces. If the Board doesn't splash out some money on a keeper, another CB, LB, and #2 striker, he might decide to go anyway.)
Unrealistic for CCV to move to the Championship. Why would he go from Champions League to Championship, and would any Championship team even be able to afford what Celtic would he looking for? I doubt it.
You say that but I think a move to somwhere like Sheffield United (they'll probably be pushing promotion again) could work for him, Celtic will be in the Champions League but will probably get ass-blasted every game, in the SPL name me what ok sides are there apart from Rangers and Celtic? Apart from the old firm, Scotland isn't even as good as MLS
@@mrmr5580 Celtic will be after a record fee for CCV, not a chance Sheffield Utd would pay close to that. £25m+ The only way he leaves is to a top Bundesliga team (as in, one regularly in Europe) or to a PL team. edit: also, CCV may not want to move - he’s vice captain, on a good wage, winning trophies, at a club with a huge support.. that could be more appealing than going to a smaller PL club and struggling to stay up
As a Juve fan and a USMNT team fan, I think McKennie has been our best MF this season at Juve. We need to renew his contract. Allegri is most likely gone after this season(hopefully the nightmare is gonna be over), Thiago Motta is the favorite to replace him. Thiago Motta manages a better brand of football, and McK could flourish with him as well. If you think Man U could be a destination for him, I would highly push back on that. Man U is a dumpster fire. I'm biased as a Juve fan, but I wanna see McK stay with us. But he also deserves a raise in salary, and from what has been reported, Juve offered him a new contract with lower wages, which was disrespectful in my opinion and sad to hear that from the team I love and follow.
Reyna was a fool to extend his contract with Dortmund. This would have been his last contract year with Dortmund. Easy to push for a transfer as your value is descreasing to Dortmund. Would have be gone by this fall or even the January window. Whoever is advising him made a big mistake.
Gio would want to play at Borussia not Dortmund so he can be with his BF Joe Scally. He should go play at Sociedad. They play with a lot of attacking midfielder/winger (4141) so he would get opportunities to play.

He's a key player on a top Italian team. --> I love the Hoppe to Wrexham shout.
I think it's unlikely they'd have interest, but Reyna at Lazio could work. Serie A suits him more, and Lazio are most likely letting Luis Alberto leave on a transfer to La Liga and it's uncertain whether or not Kamada is staying, so that leaves the midfield wide open for him to take a spot
Gio would be great in Spain or Italy. Probably needs to go to a mid table team so he can become a star and get a bigger move later. Matt Turner- honestly he needs to go to a lesser league. I think either the French or Germany would be best. Pepi- I don’t think it would be terrible to stay one more year but I think Portugal would be a good fit for him. Haji- will probably stay 1 more year but he might get picked up by a prem team. But I agree Germany and maybe France or Italy would be a good spot for him. CCV- needs to go to Germany or Spanish league. Just depends how much Celtic wants. Weston- needs to stay in either Italy or go back to Germany.
Weston should stay at Juve. He’s one of the best players on a Champions League team. He also should get paid accordingly. I keep hearing he was bad at Leeds and I disagree. Leeds was in disarray and I thought Weston was one of their best players. Unfortunately, Weston isn’t a goal scorer and he would pass to Bamford where goal scoring opportunities go to die.
Gio and Matt best moves would probably be a Series A club in Italy. I think they would see a lot more play time there. However Gio could stay at Dortmund I would just prefer series A for him.
With Reyna at Forest, I think whoever advised him to pick them needs a slap, I know the situation wasn't great with Dortmund but Forest are shit, i agree with you in La Liga or Serie A, him at Milan with Pulisic and Musah wouldn't surprise me
