I consider something like this to be extra credit. Especially since they got to complete the ride after originally getting stuck. Good call on the designers for having a backup plan.

This giant inverted boomerang was the smoothest I've ever been on. I never thought I would willingly go on a 2nd ride just for fun on one of these.
Lolz. Only thing I ever got stuck on was "Peter Pan" at Disneyland Paris
Nitro at SFGAdv was AWFUL in July/August I think it was. Something about the way the sun would hit the sensors it would get stuck often going up the lift. Haven't been there in years so don't know if they fixed this or if it still happens.
I got stuck on Universe of Energy at Epcot and had to be evacuated

We got stuck on "Hyperspace Mountain" also at Disneyland Paris. We were evacuated and were able to walk through the cannon, was great! 😁
Clearly the coaster heard you say the word "rough" and got stage fright, it had to work up the courage to finish the rest of the ride. ;)

that reminds me of "Hangover" from Liseberg in Sweden! I miss that coaster so much...It's been over 15 years since it got removed and seeing this brings back fond memories :)
This is by far my favourite roller coaster ever. I rode the Madrid's version of it, called "Stunt Fall", which by the way happens to be one of the most if not the most reliable of them all. Currently there are only 4 installed worldwide, this one in China, the Stunt Fall in Madrid, Quantum Leap in Russia and Aftershock in Silverwood.
There were two more in six flags new England and six flags over Georgia. The one from SFNE was actually relocated from six flags magic mountain and demolished in 2018 due to being extremely faulty and a maintenance nightmare. The one from SFOG was sold to a Brazilian theme park called Mirabilandia where it resides dismantled in a storage area (which can actually be seen from Google maps), pretty sad if you ask me.

I mean. That's a pretty unique experience. Because it's kind of a historical glitch on these boomerangs. The deja vu at great America did this crap all the time. I was lucky enough to ride it with my dad and friends back in 06 I think.
March 12, 2020 Splash Mountain Broke down 2 hours before closing. It was my first Evac. It was fun :) last ride before the virus.
Its always fun. Sadly I still only got evacuated for practice, also fun but not the same.
The only time I got actually stuck but wasn’t evacuated was the mansion ride at Magic Kingdom.

Could be worse. Getting stuck on the first lift hill in the front row would be terrifying. I don't often wait for the front row but on Deja Vu at Magic Mountain I always did. It was worth it
I got stuck once at Speed of Sound, a boomerang coaster in Walibi Holland. Nothing serious, but the restraints didn't open after the ride was over.
Upside was; it was raining at that moment, so we would not get wet of the rain as we were inside.
I remember being stuck on a crazy mouse ride at a fair back in 2016 and we were stuck there for 15 mins
I’ve been riding that thing for years whenever the county fair came and it was the first time I got stuck but it wasn’t all bad XD
I saw the wild mouse at funtown splashtown break down litterally 10 second after I got off the ride
I've ridden a vekoma boomerang, and I will say that the ride breaking halfway through is pretty on brand for early vekoma.

I’ve gotten stuck on the brakes at Medusa 1 1/2 years ago as the ride suddenly stopped. Then after 5 minutes, the ride went again and went a lot slower than normal.
I got stuck on The Superman in Six Flags Great Adventure years ago for like an hour or so. The ride completed but when we got back to the station the seats wouldn’t come down from the facing down position. Lol very uncomfortable & freezing we went in April but the upside was we were able to skip lines for the rest of our stay, they had us all sign these slips. Lol ah memories
Been stuck only once, on Tatsu at SFMM. It happened in the station while we were in the 'up/flying' position, so for 15+ minutes I was looking straight down towards the ground. :P
That was literally the first ride I ever got stuck on!! Back in 2016, except it happened before we got back into the station, that experience kinda ruined flying coasters for me sadly, being in that position for that long is nauseating, I have ridden manta as well and didn’t get stuck as long as it was only to let the next train out, but still has kinda deterred me from the model in general, the flying position confuses me cause I’m used to seeing the track at eye level

I got stuck on Nemesis Inferno once in 2018. When the train got to the break run is just stopped dead. We we stuck for about 5 minutes. To make matters worse it was pissing with rain I was sitting on the outside part of the train & not sheltered under the track.
I was stuck on Jurassic Park at Universal Studios Hollywood in around 2013! It happened on the lifthill before the drop and then it climbed again, we reached to the drop and dropped like normal but then when we reached near the unloading station, we got stuck for at least 30 minutes. (as far as I can try to remember)
Did that before this ride think some thing is wrong with the sensors or some release mechanism failed to function on it lol takes you back up the tower and then drops the second time

Never got stuck myself, but seen one evac and a blocked top spin and defect lift hill on a woodie, and everytime while i was waiting in queue...

Got stuck going up the first tower for 30 min, and then like a quarter up the loop for 10 min. Worst part was we were there on the hottest day of the year😅
I got stuck on the final brake run on ThunderHawk (Vekoma SLC) at Michigan's Adventure for about 10-15 mins.

I got stuck on Deja VU at Six flags over Georgia YEARS ago... Unfortunately, we were facing the ground on the initial vertical lift hill. 2 hours !

Ive been stopped on the Iron Dragon at Cedar Point, as well as Mako at Seaworld Orlando.
My daughter and I got stuck at the top of a Mondial Windseeker for 45 minutes once... We used to play RCT3 all the time and she was like, "Windseeker 1 has broken down." Then we watched the maintenance guys walk up with their toolboxes and fix it, then we were lowered 325" to earth lol. We thought it was hilarious because just like the game the peeps in the queue just disappeared 😂😂😂

Yeah, the people who designed this ride aren't really known for how quality their rides are. There's only 4 of these left and this one actually breaks down and gets stuck the LEAST.

Never stuck but I've worked on roller coaster at six flags great adventure and have evacuated multiple rides from being stuck.
