    I think another thing they should add to these machines is an HDMI port so you can play on a bigger screen instead of crowding around the small one.

    Restalgia,
    So cool to hear you got a replica of the first arcade machine you ever played! My earliest memory was Space Invaders, and of course, Numskull delivered it quite beautifully. I also picked up the first TMNT Numskull machine, because that's the one I played in arcades. And actually, I don't ever recall seeing an actual Turtles in Time machine (but, of course, I've walked though SO MANY arcades in my lifetime that I'm sure there are many I don't remember seeing).
    I actually found myself liking the artwork better on the Turtles In Time machine over the original TMNT. But with Numskull having that huge announcement of new machines, I had to consider future purchases and space, so I decided to skip on Turtles In Time. However, I still get to live vicariously though other members of the community who own it. And I love the fact that someone who played it as their first arcade experience got it!
    Have a great one!

    This isn't for me but I think it wouldn't have been too much trouble for them to include the original arcade game with it as well...especially for that price.

    Would be nice if you can play more games on this machine.

    I think 300.00 is more than fair for the level of quality. dude, it’s like a high-quality statue. It’s really just a display piece. Sounds like majority of your subscriber base needs to find a job outside a minimum wage. I make 20k+ a month so 300 is nothing to me

    This is probably the last arcade 1/4 scale I’ll be buying from numskull $300 is the price of 2 1/4 scales they costed $150 before now you pay $300

  • @toonblastsart8655
    @toonblastsart8655 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Hmm for 300 I rather just go with arcade 1up I was expecting maybe 60 to 75 for something like that maybe 100 but for 3 just go with arcade 1up unless you don't have the room

    • @Restalgia
      @Restalgia  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Price is certainly a bit high, but these are designed to be collectable and arcade accurate representations done in 1/4 scale. Similar to how Hot Toys does 1/4 scale action figures that are typically in the 2-300 dollar price point. I can see your point though especially if your focus is primarily playing the game itself.

    With numskull sending you these of course you won’t have any problems but today I just received mine and ny first problem was the joystick for Leonardo he just doesn’t move up right left down all he can do is jump or hit but if you can’t move him what’s the point this is the first 1/4 scale that gave me problems the Pac-Man Ms Pac-Man Galaga galaxian dig dug bouble all work just fine I’m returning mine back don’t think it’s worth buying yes it looks cool but if anything is broken that will cause a problem numskull increased the price with broken joystick I never had a problem with arcade 1 up they are all perfect

      Aren’t 1ups $600-800 full retail, but yeah these things are expensive but more cool. It’s like you can say 1ups now are almost the same price as a real arcade

      @torcer 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Unlike Quarter Arcade or New Wave Toys, the Arcade1Ups are not authentic scaled replicas. Honestly, if all I wanted to do was play the game, I'd just boot up an emulator.

      Theres a big difference between a collectible like this and arcade1up. If you want a display piece that is actually high quality, you cant get that from a1up

    How is it unbelievable it’s only got one game it’s $300 not as loud as the original arcade machine that weighs 300 pounds this isn’t worth $300 I bet numskull told you to lie it’s worth buying they know what they did was wrong overpriced them cause they are using wood instead of plastic

    • @Restalgia
      @Restalgia  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You seem awfully angry. Nobody told me to say anything and i think if you actually watched the whole video you'd know i had many critisms thoughout. I personally think if this is the type of product you are then it may be worthwhile for those people. These products aren't for everyone.

      @@Restalgia you still didn’t answer the question of course I’m mad about the price increase that just doesn’t make sense $149 now $299 what does numskull think their selling the arcade 1 up size that includes more then 1 game if people agree to pay $300 the price will never go back I don’t believe numskull they don’t have wood their running out of wood that they need to use plastic

      @@BobbyNight-yh8ls It's a collectors item. This is no different than an action figure that is $300.00 or even twice that. This isn't a toy like Arcade1up.

      @@NameisNotImportant_it depends what it comes with you should know Wood isn’t a good reason to increase the price we humans didn’t create the wood or trees to say they don’t have wood in UK that much is nonsense just to make an excuse to increase the price I don’t see arcade 1 up complaining their out of wood they need to do plastic now a collectors doesn’t cost $300 so stop defending numskull
