How I love this tragic ballet, you were wonderful Vaslav, a Polish Prince and Anastasia a wonderful Maria, Polish Princess. And I love Tereshkina as Zarema. The whole ballet was so beautifully done, loved also Polish Szlachta dancing national dance. And music is wonderful.
I completely agree! Xander is a dashing Valslav and Anastasia is a beautiful Maria with a wonderful, light jump. Also I love the costumes in this production, from Belyakov’s colorful outfit, to Viktoria’s sumptuous robe and gauzy harem pants. Also Anastasia’s white dress and overcoat is simply divine. The whole ballet is simply gorgeous and it makes me sad that it is no longer available on TH-cam. Maybe someone will put it back up. I could watch this over and over.
@@kathleenfitzgerald6141 I was also sad that it was gone, wanted to see it again. Love the music, overture was great too. I looked for DVD, none are available, such shame. I have been yearning to see it again but will it be available again ? :( .
BytomGirl IKR the music! Another thing to enjoy about this delightful ballet. The overture, I agree is very nice (sort of reminds m of Mozart), as is the rest of it. I find myself humming parts of it and get ear worms but in a good way.
