I am driving the Mercedes-Benz A-class berline version, as much as the Gen2 MBUX nicer is doesn't beat physical buttons for AC or HUD controls, touch is uncertain and can be done by mistake while driving. Would love gen2 but not fan of a "tablet" controlling my car kind of feeling.
@@meegomeow Yeah when you are not driving like a passenger for example I agree; not while driving, when driving you want full optimal control of your car the last thing u want is stuff to change in your displays by mistake.
I'm driving a 2020 S 63 AMG and I bought it more for the breathtaking performance I am privileged and blessed to enjoy every day, but the technology in the new Gen Benz is impressive
@@Hui20cm they are overrated and fairly affordable. Once you drive a Benz, especially an AMG, you won't accept nothing that's not equally yoked or beyond. I promise.
I am mercedes customer from last 35 year always when thinking to buy a new car initially think for other brands but i agree i have special connection from these guys i always go for them only😆 Mercedes i hope you do this thing for more years to come

Fantastic Display, but operating the car with this screen is tricky. While driving, it's nearly impossible to write a new destination address, using the screen. The "old" touchpanel in the center console is missing. And the touch surfaces on the steering wheel are really bad. I can't why mercedes did this. Right now, my wife is driving one of the new c-classes, but I think it will be the last Mercedes (after nearly 20 years) if this isn't replaced in next time. Mercedes, wake up, this surfaces are annoying every single day.
Hi Rufus, we are sorry to hear that you're not a fan of the new screens. With the MBUX system you can also use the voice control to access some of the functions you are mentioning here, perhaps you could give it a try in your wifes new C-Class.

And, the speech recognition is not that good, that it finds all addresses. The new class C is not as good to operate as the old one was, if Mercedes can't remember how to build easy to use cars, this one was the last one.

And there is still a hard button control below the center screen to change the volume. Temperature is the only thing I can understand, since they are not physical buttons, but they are always at the bottom of the screen, and again, simply say “hey Mercedes, change the temperature to high” and boom, like magic, what you want is done.

@MercedesBenz 2 years and a half until 17. I'm expecting a new C Class model and expecting Mercedes's domination over the luxurious car brand of Saudi Arabia. Your car is seen every 50 meters in a neighbourhood. From coupes to SUVs to semi-trucks.
You know what makes me sad? The sell and forget vision of Daimler. If even they think of their product as a consumable thing that doesn't worth their love once they sell it, then who will think differently? Every past model has it's infotainment completely outdated, I am still waiting after 3 years an update for wide Andoid Auto, or album cover from Spotify over BT in my 2019 E-Klass, and I came to the conclusion that will never happen. While Tesla releases A TON of updates, Daimler is not... So I am spending a lot to buy a brand that in 1 year will be obsolete because they don't care about it once they sold it. If Daimler thinks that this policy is not penalized by the buyers is wrong. Don't do what Nokia did... Sad times...
We think they're both excellent cars! It depends if you prefer a Coupé design or something more like a Sedan. The best way to choose is to arrange a test drive with both of them at your local dealership. 😉
@@MercedesBenz You are right, but for me, the C class is family compared to the Cla. I will choose the Cla because it is sporty in terms of safety. Both are distinguished in addition to the interior. The C class is somewhat attractive with its amazing screen, but the same characteristics as the Cla I have nothing to say, you are the best company in the world with a reputation since ancient times ❤😌
Sadly…it still looks exactly like the 2014 version parked opposite my house, a 90,000 miles 220D with £8/9000 with troubles. It is better… it completely forgettable as regards desirability😬😬😬.

Why can’t you just make serious tutorial videos with a British narrator, and without the mbux jokes. 🙄 enough already. We’re here for the awesome cars.
