Ah yes, just finished my 8 hour shift at a popular café during school holidays and understaffed, it's time to watch a video about 4 people playing a game where they frantically try to run a popular restaurant where they're understaffed. In all honesty these videos are very fun and weirdly calming compared to real-life because at least there's no customers gaslighting you or complaining

When buying decorations on every third day, try focussing on the things that affect the room, in stead of the items that affect just a few tiles. It tells you the effect at the bottom of the blueprint info. Edit: Also, get the rugs if you can, place them in spots where you don't want messes. :)
Decorations, at least in this build, seem generally awful. Way too expensive for way too little benefit. Just don't buy any would've been better. Honestly those plants are actively harmful by not giving you 2-tops closer to the kitchen. Imagine having twice the hobs, or a bunch of conveyor belts/grabbers, or w/e.

Just wanted to say, hey, watch out for this, and don't be fooled by the smiley face symbol.
Well, I don't think its that confusing, it requires little perception to notice that smiley face is ordering time and arrow down is delivery patience (which procs after the first meal of larger group has been delivered). Calm painting increases both of these - ordering time and delivery patience, so it is a buff of longer delivery time (and of course decor points), at the cost of increased ordering time. But I agree, it may ruin a playthrough for someone who didn't notice that. It is even worse when Individual Dining card is in the game, which Rik likes to choose. It made Calm painting only hindering him, making guests order food longer, without making them wait for food for their peers longer because they had no peers to begin with.

Hummm. Ash spends a fair amount of time just standing waiting to plate things, I feel like he has enough time to help wash dishes, which seems to be part of the hold up on getting people in the door.
Ash is better at slow deliberation games than multitasking games, but it's not an issue if he has one task to keep him busy the whole time. Unfortunately the kitchen requires a little more aid than that--he should probably switch with Aenna and be a dishwasher again.
I think they should move the sinks and plates into kitchen. Put one sink in the top tile of serving counters in kitchen where Jas can drop the dish. Ash can be on mash and dish duty. Aenna can help Jas to serve
I've been replying to a lot of comments on this video trying to clarify what happened, but I figured I should write my own comment for more people to see. Firstly, the napkin: they had a purely graphical glitch that made it appear weird, but it was applied to the table as intended. But then they made the issue worse by putting down a napkin item on the table surface that blocked the table from use. Can't really blame them for what happened with that, but also the glitch did not single-handedly ruin their run. All it did is make that particular day slightly more annoying than it had to be, because it happened to a 1-top table that was not critical. Arguably, black coffee was actually what killed the run. It meant a lot of tables stuck around longer than they could ultimately handle, and even a single table leaving after their main course was finished would given them a few more precious seconds to get things under control on that last day. Also a common problem is that they have a tendency to not prioritize serving groups that are easier to turn over, or get to leave quickly. In this case, there were two tables of solo diners that, if zeroed in on and served before any two-person groups, could've gotten the queue to reset and solve the crisis. I know that there is a mentality of first come, first serve, but picking your battles is key. I personally think the number of tables they had this run ended up being fine, with the bar table just being an unfortunate victim of circumstance. They don't need more tables as long as they can manage the groups efficiently. However, it is extremely important to have as many tables that can serve the max group size as possible, which had been something they were struggling to understand until this video. However, they seemed to realize it was bad midway through and fixed the behavior, so good job! Something that is noteworthy to point out is that there were a lot of times where Ash wasn't doing anything and no one was communicating to him what they needed help with and how he could help them, except Price with some minor plating assistance sometimes. I think when Ash is in the kitchen, he needs to be the guy who handles the main dishes, which keeps him busy as long as he's getting the communication about what he needs to make. That being said, Ash was also doing perfectly fine as a dishboy in previous runs, where he could focus on a task that had very little variance and could be reliably called for front-of-house backup as needed.
When you were discussing the dining tables in the kitty-corner fashion, you were worried about reaching the "table". This isn't necessary; once a guest is seated, you can interact with the guest to take and place orders or pick up dirty plates. Good job, hope to see more PlateUp! from you all :)
The bookshelf may occupy one "cube", but it is very thin. So if the plant (or other furniture) is on the way, you can put a bookshelf between the path and that thing. Everyone will be able to pass that. Also, occupied chairs occupy half-ish of a tile, so customers, and you too, can squeeze through such bizarre places (you can clearly see that in 22:37 - the table's chairs in the upper corner are valid, they are reachable for both customers and staff). I loved how Jas started utilising other tables, and later barrels, to temporarily store plates with food for larger groups that are far from kitchen window. By the way, the napkins on Bar Table got bugged: you put napkins on that table, but the grafic of it moved to the barrel. Placing another thing (second napkin) made it occupied by an item. I think that's why you lost - there was a group of two waiting, but alone customer came before them and occupied the table of two, but the sole guest could occupy Bat Table instead, leaving the two top for larger group.
While the solo person could have gone to the bar table even if it was open, the fact of the matter is that groups will randomly choose any open table to sit at, as long as it's big enough. That means that solo diners won't automatically go sit at a 1-person table even if there's one open, and the solo diner would've had a 50/50 shot to still screw them over.
@@pandorapanini6036 Then guests should be a little more clever and look for a table with exact number of seats as the group itself and then, when they fail to do so, look for the table with more seats. Actually, I think I'm gonna suggest that on Dev's discords once I got back home, or when I have some free time
Would be helpful but I imagine for now just some day getting a bigger place and getting the order desk to bring them inside before sitting may be the best option available
The first tier bonus of the diamond decorations actually does that, and a select few decorations also increase queue patience/slow down patience decreasing. They just haven't noticed most of them yet.
7:56 I think everyone is thinking of the "poison apple" stigma around _tomatoes,_ not potatoes. *Fun Fact: Tomatoes were thought to be poisonous for ~200 years because the acids in the tomato was absorbing some of the lead content from the pewter plates they were served on.*
Get the grabbers and conveyers. U can automate dishes with them using a wash basin, also safety hob will stop cooking item when it’s done ,so it’s amazing for stir fry and fish. It won’t catch fire
I honestly don't think you should turn any tables to one-top. You have been losing on a few runs now on groups of two waiting outside when there are single tables empty in your restaurant.
There’s a napkin sitting on the table rather than sitting in the napkin spot. That’s why no one used it. Also for some reason there’s a floating napkin? 😂
If you put two of anything on a table it counts as the filled slot, so they won't sit there because the table is "full." The game should fix this by just not ALLOWING you to put more than one napkin up--but currently it is an issue. Hopefully the devs patch that out.
Since you guys are facing the problem of people outside, getting diamonds wouldn't be a good idea. From what I saw on riks playthrpugh, getting a diamomd increases queue patience and helps with that problem. Also, when certain items have symbols for patience, they represent different phases of ordering/eating. The smiley face symbol is for when the customers are deciding what to eat. Normally, you don't want this to last long as they'll stay at the table longer The bell icon shows the that they want to order and they have a time limit for this. Aim to get longer order patience as it can help to wait if the kitchen needs time to prepare. Since you can just take their order when you're ready, it's not a problem of lasting too long. (1)
Then, they'll be waiting for their food which again you'll want to last as long as possible Finally, if there are groups of 2 or more, they'll have the down arrow symbol. By default, this lasts for only a few seconds, which is why has sometimes needs aenne to help deliver orders. By getting a calm painting or 2, you could extend this time and make it easier to just deliver the first dish and deliver the second without rushing I don't want this to seem like one of those 'um actually ' comments, just tryna help so y'all can get longer runs and possible even franchise?! Love y'all. Keep up the good work
I think that Ash suit for dishwasher because dishwasher is busy the whole time and Jass alway call out when she need help so he will know what to do. He need someone to urge him.
Where I live , we ate the potato plant.. well not the whole tree 😂😂😂 just the leaves , first we pluck it by hand and wash it properly , second we boiled it and lastly take it out put in the basket (I can't remember the word , English is my second language sorry lol.. the word is 'to get rid of the water' 😂).. we ate it with our fermented fish sauce , I know it sounds so disgusting for y'all 😂 but that's what I grew up with , it's our culture food.. also it's not fishy at all , it's rather tangy and sour.. to make the sauce , u need lemon/lime/vinegar and chillies.. u can also put fresh onions in it , it's really delicious , it's a dipping that we use for vegetables and fried/steam fish.. we ate it with rice.. since the sauce is salty , it's really suitable for rice
I feel that the reason they get so close to losing so often is that sometimes Jas and Aenne need a lot of help in their side so whenever one of them is free, Ash or Price should come and help outside the kitchen. Preferably Price as Ash isn't as suited for multitasking. but to be fair I see Jas and Aenne's side a lot and it gets really hectic over there so I don't see how hectic it can be for Ash and Price.
I don't know if you'll see this but if you guys are going to do stir fry next then try this: if a customer orders stir fry with both broccoli and carrots, cook the rice and just ONE of the vegetables, put it on a plate and throw the other raw vegetable on the plate. This method works in the demo version so I'm not sure if it'll work in your guys' version but try it out first in the tutorial. I discovered this by accident when I was playing this myself and only cooking one of the vegetables saves SO much time! I think you guys can do it since you all work so well together! 💙 The way I like my kitchen equipment for stir fry is (from left to right) rice - wok - hob and a counter next to each vegetable. That way one person can focus on cooking rice and the other chopping vegetables. I'd also recommend one wok be used at a time before you get more counters and another hob to reduce confusion and panic but you guys obviously don't have to do it this way, this layout works best for me. Hope this helped!
Tips: leave the plates and sides near the counters so that the serving people can deal with it while the kitchen focus more on cooking. Also: (unsure if u know) Sides can be placed on any plate order (when serving 2 or more) and if you forget it u can just bring it to them separately.
Yeah like Ash pointed out - often times it’s due to the patience meter of those standing outside the restaurants running out that ends up ending a run. I do feel that the patience meter does drop a little too quickly to be able to sustain a run for long - unless you get lucky and get a good set of items or decor that helps relieve that issue.
Yeah people do eat other parts of the potato plant besides the root. That includes the potato leaf, it is used in Chinese cuisine to make dishes to eat with rice
That but also there were some management issues, for example they let the table by the door wait instead of taking that order as between it being only one person and close to the kitchen and the coffee they could have flipped that table quickly and thus freed that two top for people waiting. Instead they took clients further back at some of the two tops there. Also, the placement of the bonus items probably could have been optimized to hit more tables, for example when they had the bookshelf and two plants they had the corner to the left of the door to the dishwashing area that was left open and could have put something there that hit the majority of tables. Without having access to the same version of the game that they are on I cannot say for certain where the optimal placement would be for everyting, however.
@@Drraagh Well in fairness Jazzy and Aenne tried hard to optimize the decor bonuses, looking at Rik's runs it also seems if they needed to they could have a table right by the food pick up so Price and Ash could serve them very quickly even if they lose the buffs that others had to focus the decor on further away tables.
@@mrkaa5221 Agreed, always easy to armchair quarterback, especially when their main goal is to make entertaining content. For most people, myself included, watching someone essentially do a spreadsheet to min-max a game is less enjoyable than watching them just play. Even though there are times with any LPer, I'll be yelling at things they miss.
Another fun looking game from this genre that adds its own new ideas. I just hope it's one of the few that goes easy on 2 players since most of these games get near impossible, or at the very least annoyingly frustrating without 4 players after a few levels.
I wonder if you could have done something like hob/prep station-to-grabber-to-serving counter, so that fish on the hob or in the prep station automatically get fed to the counter. Probably better to do it with the hob than the prep station in case customers don't want what you have in the prep station yet, but could work if you have only one kind of main dish that only needs to be cooked once (pie?). Your chefs didn't really need that boost in efficiency, though, but just an idea. For your table perk arrangements, it'll be easier to arrange things once you get more floor space. With a 4-tile wide floor, you could have table-walkway-table-decor or table-walkway-decor-table, and have tables closer together than with decor in between them.
Someone needs to help out in with the dishes. Do flexible positions. In real life kitchens if you need plates, you ask the dishwasher to get your plates done or you help in the dish pit. When you have rush of starter called the person on entrees helps out. You need to save each others asses for them to save your ass later on.
Such a good run, well done everybody :D It's a pity that you can only carry one dirty plate at a time, Aenne could not have been more efficient busting tables and brewing coffee. Once everything is prepped in the kitchen, I think that either Ash or Price helping with cleaning the dishes would have lead you to the next day. However, I'm not convinced you would have lasted much longer with this setup. Better luck next time, can't wait !
So I've noticed the meters are quite confusing. I believe that if the text is green it means that it is an increase in patience and if it is red it is a decrease. The symbol after seems to refer to the specific meter it is affecting not happiness or an increase or decrease. The smiley face is the ordering meter while the down arrow is when you have to serve multiple orders. This seems to be something they need to clarify. Then in terms of the line outside I believe you want to focus on fast food and also there is one set of decorations that also increases cue length time. More tables can work but it's a balance. If you have too many tables that you get flustered about clearing them/have to run around trying to get people orders fullfilled then that seems ineffective. A manageable amount of tables that you can effectively immediately serve coffee and clear is more effective. I've also been thinking that you can play around with the idea of having essentially having sections and two waiters that also clear dishes and since kitchen is so effective they can help with dishes on their downtime.
I know u guys probably had to take it but I think what killed u was the coffee. It was basically like getting the debuff that lets customers order twice so it was making them take longer to get out the door.
Oooo, I have an idea, what if you guys use only one dinning table? It certainly would reduce the commune time, and let you be more focus on the tasks on hand, reducing stress and confusions, and you can stack every decor item on it people outside getting impatience, really just means that you guys' supply is not meeting the demand so, if you guys can focus on one single table, serve them and get them out as fast as possible, maybe it will lead to better results?
If they only had one table there would be a constant line outside that just increases wait time as the level proceeds. They're welcome to try it, of course--but if they can't beat the level with 4 tables and people are waiting in line they definitely won't beat it with 1 table.
@@carlotta4th Well, if they don't have the efficiency, the line is going to appear anyway The fact is that, they are just not serving people quick enough tables really just gives a buffer before people start lining outside, but they also spread the decor buff, increase walk time, more mess and more orders to keep track So my stand: less table, less trouble
You're on the right track, but 1 table is just too few with how many groups that eventually arrive. In a run with the right types of cards and some ideal decor however, you are able to make 2-3 tables be the sweet spot. The biggest thing to realize though is that you have much less leeway with mistakes if you have fewer tables.
@@pandorapanini6036 Yeah, my "1 table" is just for the shock value, so people may get curious and read along my stand is just: less table, less trouble
They didn't actually use this function here, but sometimes a bar table is useful because it doesn't combine, and therefore you can use it to put some combinable tables close together to save space. Because the bar table doesn't combine, it acts as a divider, saving space without losing number of seating. I think what really killed them is that their layout was unfortunately too small. I wish the layout had been bigger, and they could have gotten more tables in, and they would have been able to handle the increase in customers. I think they maximized their seating as much as they could have, and they couldn't have fit any more tables in there, but they needed more tables to handle the increase in number of customers. I can't see a way they could have handled the line out the door without more tables, and they just couldn't fit any more tables in their restaurant
I'm not allergic but I have a starch intolerance so I get sick and extreme fatigue from eating starch like potatoes have. So yeah sadly I wouldn't order the potatoes at your restaurant
There is a card you can get for "Individual Dining" where only 1 guest comes in at a time, so a bar table where only a single guest sits, that doesn't "join" together with other tables is a good way to use space efficiently (as you can jam a dining-table next to a bar-table next to a metal-table next to a simple-table-cloth table, all as 1 seaters).
Them never trying any of the automation options is I guess the worst though. They pass up two grabbers? You could have automated the production of both fishes...
I know this is before the update, so the rng sometimes screw you. I am going to make a summary of the reasons why you may have failed in some episodes excluding when you were learning dishes, sides or some mistakes delivering the order properly. I know you didn't have the choice to improve what you wanted, but I hope this is helpful. Ep 2. Turkey. Not enough tables. Starter + main + dessert = too much time eating Ep 6. Carrot soup!!! (starter), and just 1 oven. Ep 12. Just one hob for chips, red fish and blue fish. Ep 14. This is a tough one. Not enough storage for ingredients, maybe 1 or 2 prep stations could have helped you. Ep 15. Carrot soup!!! (starter), and just 1 hob. Also, stir fry is hard. Ep. 17. 6 tables but 4 were for one seater. 14 groups expected, but at least 8 couples. Also, they take longer eating when you serve them coffee. Ep. 19. Dishes are a big problem on day 11, one person is mostly cleaning tables and dishes in a regular sink and a soaking sink, but there's too much work for the other person serving. Also messes are another problem. Besides, there was a table glitched that didn't want to take a napkin? Finally I want to say that this game is very hard, some days with certain cards you don't stand a chance, so don't worry too much about taking serious the comments.
I am so confused how the people were waiting at the end. There was a table that never had a person and there was a group of one waiting and they didn’t sit there like what happened?
No, just 1 napkin per table regardless of number of customers, but also per course since they get used up separately between main and dessert (also starter).
@@twendos833 Yes, but also no. You can shove your way past seated customers, but it's not ideal and uses up precious time. Also, other customers clip through each other, so it won't prevent each other from reaching chairs that would otherwise be difficult to get to.
While the napkin glitching out was unfortunate (it originally was just a graphical bug that was fairly harmless by itself, but then they put another napkin on the tabletop as a regular item that takes up space, thus blocking it from use), the bigger issue was that there was nowhere for a 2-person group to sit. Potentially, the solo diner that came in before the 2-person group could've sat at the bar table if it had been open, but that also wouldn't have been a guarantee (50/50 chance). What really hurt their chances more than anything else was the fact that they had black coffee, because groups sit at a table even longer when what they really needed was people leaving as soon as possible to keep the line moving.
I feel like with how much it rains in this game you should be able to get exterior upgrades like a canopy or something. Like 4/5 days it’s raining which is obnoxious

Actually, I think I'm gonna suggest that on Dev's discords once I got back home, or when I have some free time
Hope theres an update for decorations to slow patience for those waiting in line outside, like benches or patio shades to keep out the rain.
Would be helpful but I imagine for now just some day getting a bigger place and getting the order desk to bring them inside before sitting may be the best option available
There are a bunch of balance changes incoming with regards to decorations.
I spy with my little eye a change in the intro Stumpt logo 👀. It went RGB holograms. I like it!
I honestly don't think you should turn any tables to one-top. You have been losing on a few runs now on groups of two waiting outside when there are single tables empty in your restaurant.
31:51 for some reason you guys had one table down that no customer wanted to use and that made a line outside causing you to fail..
PlateUp! is okay, but I'm really looking forward to a replay of Diner Bros with Aenna
Baby's first Taco Amigos.
Normally, you don't want this to last long as they'll stay at the table longer
The bell icon shows the that they want to order and they have a time limit for this. Aim to get longer order patience as it can help to wait if the kitchen needs time to prepare. Since you can just take their order when you're ready, it's not a problem of lasting too long. (1)
Then, they'll be waiting for their food which again you'll want to last as long as possible
Finally, if there are groups of 2 or more, they'll have the down arrow symbol. By default, this lasts for only a few seconds, which is why has sometimes needs aenne to help deliver orders. By getting a calm painting or 2, you could extend this time and make it easier to just deliver the first dish and deliver the second without rushing
I don't want this to seem like one of those 'um actually ' comments, just tryna help so y'all can get longer runs and possible even franchise?!
Preferably Price as Ash isn't as suited for multitasking.
but to be fair I see Jas and Aenne's side a lot and it gets really hectic over there so I don't see how hectic it can be for Ash and Price.
it’s not as hectic for ash but that’s because price is doing the big cooking. I feel like maybe making ash do that and use price to float but idk
@@jonathandpg6115 yeah I didn't say Price has to float, I said from time to time any one of them could go out and help out Aenne and Jas
no you are defintiely right. if anything they NEEDED help with the dishes, which could've easily been helped with by Ash
The way I like my kitchen equipment for stir fry is (from left to right) rice - wok - hob and a counter next to each vegetable. That way one person can focus on cooking rice and the other chopping vegetables. I'd also recommend one wok be used at a time before you get more counters and another hob to reduce confusion and panic but you guys obviously don't have to do it this way, this layout works best for me. Hope this helped!
That's actually a bug in the demo, and I believe it's already been fixed in the playtest version that they're playing.
@@pandorapanini6036 Oh well that's a shame, thanks for telling me!
i love when you guys don't understand something or you guys don't realised what happen than you loss you guys just put the blame on bug 😂
I like how they blame things they don't understand on bugs. My guess is that the table's had a 0 because the people were blocked by the plants.
YES! And they didn't seem to figure it out, Aenne just happened to have decided to pick up the plant.
Yeah people do eat other parts of the potato plant besides the root. That includes the potato leaf, it is used in Chinese cuisine to make dishes to eat with rice
I believe the issue with the extra people waiting outside needs the fast food buff so they eat quicker and get out faster
Wahahey excellent work front of house. Kitchen was smooth as baby oil. *thumbs up*
Auto-serving. This this this this this this this this.
Or soaking sink to plates with grabber, that would've helped so much. I always feel sad when they skip the grabbers and conveyors. lol
I saw that rik got an updated version of the game. I would love to see you 4 play that newer version.
fun fact, potatoes are part of the nightshade family. hence why the first plants were poisonous
Someone needs to help out in with the dishes. Do flexible positions. In real life kitchens if you need plates, you ask the dishwasher to get your plates done or you help in the dish pit. When you have rush of starter called the person on entrees helps out. You need to save each others asses for them to save your ass later on.
Ash could've easily helped with dishes but didn't.
Hahahaha I need y’all to watch Rick play this!
Such a good run, well done everybody :D
It's a pity that you can only carry one dirty plate at a time, Aenne could not have been more efficient busting tables and brewing coffee. Once everything is prepped in the kitchen, I think that either Ash or Price helping with cleaning the dishes would have lead you to the next day. However, I'm not convinced you would have lasted much longer with this setup. Better luck next time, can't wait !
To anyone who isn't subscribed to Rik's channel, he's been playing this solo, it gets pretty crazy too 😂
Might be fun to try some diner lingo? According to one site, a side of mashed potatoes is "in a fog".
Try using the grabber and conveyor belts more 👍
the hosting stand might help by bringing ppl inside to wait
Bar table doesn't need to be placed at the bar? Well i learned something new today.
Damn the rearranging the dining room was painful
I know u guys probably had to take it but I think what killed u was the coffee. It was basically like getting the debuff that lets customers order twice so it was making them take longer to get out the door.
Ahhh y’all had a good run!🥰
Something you can try is having the further tables being just 1 seaters so that you never have a group of 2 super far from the counter
That's good advice! It would make a substantial difference having the large tables close to both serving counter and coffee.
Oooo, I have an idea, what if you guys use only one dinning table?
It certainly would reduce the commune time, and let you be more focus on the tasks on hand, reducing stress and confusions, and you can stack every decor item on it
people outside getting impatience, really just means that you guys' supply is not meeting the demand
so, if you guys can focus on one single table, serve them and get them out as fast as possible, maybe it will lead to better results?
If they only had one table there would be a constant line outside that just increases wait time as the level proceeds. They're welcome to try it, of course--but if they can't beat the level with 4 tables and people are waiting in line they definitely won't beat it with 1 table.
@@carlotta4th Well, if they don't have the efficiency, the line is going to appear anyway
The fact is that, they are just not serving people quick enough
tables really just gives a buffer before people start lining outside,
but they also spread the decor buff, increase walk time, more mess and more orders to keep track
So my stand: less table, less trouble
You're on the right track, but 1 table is just too few with how many groups that eventually arrive. In a run with the right types of cards and some ideal decor however, you are able to make 2-3 tables be the sweet spot. The biggest thing to realize though is that you have much less leeway with mistakes if you have fewer tables.
@@pandorapanini6036 Yeah, my "1 table" is just for the shock value, so people may get curious and read along
my stand is just: less table, less trouble
in theory it sounds like it may work, but I highly doubt it
they do realise the safety hobs arent slower... they are the same speed now they just turn off after the food is cooked so it doesnt burn
If you plate wrong the potato or broc to the dish you can send to the people
What's the point of buying a bar table for $60 when you can just buy a regular table for $20 and make it a one top?
Could the bar table be put at the order window so the kitchen staff could serve it with a benefit? otherwise its a 1 seat 60 coin table
What’s the point of the bar table? It seems like a more expensive table that does less.
More please!
I imagine that most people who are allergic to potatoes are actually allergic to iodine?
Is that new stumpt logo in intro?!
idea for Aenne BABY'S FIRST All Star Fruit Racing
everything is bug 😂
I know this is before the update, so the rng sometimes screw you. I am going to make a summary of the reasons why you may have failed in some episodes excluding when you were learning dishes, sides or some mistakes delivering the order properly. I know you didn't have the choice to improve what you wanted, but I hope this is helpful.
Ep 2. Turkey. Not enough tables. Starter + main + dessert = too much time eating
Ep 6.
Quick tip. Dont put too many sides or your kitchen will be flooded with too much stuff on counters
they didn’t have too much in this case, they where more than capable of handing it. Their pinch point was the dinning area

I'm under the impression two sitter tables need two napkins to stop or lessen the mess while one sitter tables just need the one?
No, just 1 napkin per table regardless of number of customers, but also per course since they get used up separately between main and dessert (also starter).
YOU KAN WALK THROUH DA TABLES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i ment chairs ops
@@mariekirstinebang5808 Not if they have people in them. The customers have a hitbox, even when sitting down.
@@twendos833 Yes, but also no. You can shove your way past seated customers, but it's not ideal and uses up precious time. Also, other customers clip through each other, so it won't prevent each other from reaching chairs that would otherwise be difficult to get to.
Somehow the napkin glitching out on that one table messed up things. I think you would have had that day if you had been able to use that table.
no that table sat 1 person. They where groups of two. The groups are RNG and if there is not enough seats for the group they just won’t sit and wait.
Stop putting 1 top tables!! A couple of times u guys lost because of 1tops.
