    The Ballistic profiles can be sent to the scope using the DNT (Not Arken!) app (using Wifi) , and the ballistics calculation needs to be selected, to use the A,B,C etc profiles on the latest firmware. If you select table, it uses the one time send over Bluetooth data and not the alphabetical profiles. The DNT blog has a great guide on that.

      Both Apps work (with the existing Zulus scopes).

      @@RussDouglas222 They may, but the DNT app is designed for the day/night rather than the optical, and doesn't include the non relevant info. I contacted Arken to report a different issue I noticed, and they told me to use the DNT app and linked the blog post (can't directly post the link or I would) ;)

    Just zeroed and tweaked my TNC after 15m zeroing the day/night and thermals rand 24 shots over the FX chtono V2 using JSB Hades that had been sorted for weight (anyonelse get basically two distinct but separated weight of 15.5 and 16.1 gr?).
    Used my measured velocity and weight in the bc but had to raise the scope height above the measured value by 1 cm and now have spot on from 5-17m which is my backyard limit.

    • @RussDouglas222
      @RussDouglas222  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Neil, I've had no parallax issues, I just learned here that sitting in daylight shooting out to 42m in gloom wasn't absolutely clear.
      I love that I can just press the settings hotkey, without going in the menu, to cycle through the reticle colours to best suit/contrast any particular target.
      If you're mainly shooting 50yards the ZHD520R might be better.
      I've very deliberately put the 312R on my .22" and the 520R on my .177".

    Hello, I would like to know if mounting the Arken Zulus on a rail with a 30 moas inclination changes anything? I mean, does it modify the impact points? How does the scope realize and compensate for those 30 moas that the rail has? because nowhere can you load that data... Regards

    • @RussDouglas222
      @RussDouglas222  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The scope doesn't realise / compensate for anything.
      For most air rifles you'll need 20MOA forward inclination for any digital scope, so either a 20MOA scope rail and 0MOA mount, or a 0MOA rifle rail and 20MOA scope mount.
      If your rifle has a 30MOA scope rail then you'll need to use a 0MOA mount with your Zulus, but you may find your zeroed reticle is a little high (above centre), unless you use heavy pellets.
      Hope this makes sense.
