With this show, why did we feel the need to try and do an Aussie Office. Or at least the Aussie Office crew could have gotten Working Dog to work with.
In two decades of watching youtube, rarely has a comedy compilation managed to ACTUALLY get my heartrate up like this from vicarious irritation, the show looks hilarious but I don’t know if I’m strong enough to handle more than snippets at a time lol
It is equal measures funny and blood boiling. I can't listen to it while working, othewise I start to get really angry outta nowhere. The secret is not to let yourself empathyze with anyone but the unhinged people, which is not always feasible. It is worth it, though!
@@aluisious the days when u wud get handed employment caus you complimented another persons coat on a bus are gone boomer. Try getting another job in this economy.

Please, PLEASE make this available in the U.S. again. Even if it's in DVD form. Hell, even if it's in VHS form. I need this series. It speaks straight to the narrative.
Yep She's brilliant. I love how she does her best to cope with her workmates. But she probably gets home, puts on trackey daks, cracks a beer, and thinks, " what a bunch of fwits"
Oh man the “What about the Mexican Community … aren’t we apologizing to them? I think Social Media is more important” this hurts…. When online “feelings” mean more than an actual community of ppl 😒 What a time to be alive 😅
The character, Nat, and Celia's performance, . . both fantastic! The writers of this series have been through office and HR hell to write these scenes. Must be time for another series, please!
Your guys are just the best! You're so good with capturing the emptiness of the corporate environment that I'm actually laughing when scrolling on linkedin
At the 5 minute 22 second mark, check out Courtneys' enthusiastic head nod in the background 😂 It's the kind of thing you don't notice at first but upon the 3rd or 4th viewing it makes the scene all the more funnier 😅 Nina Oyama is brilliant as is Emma-Louise Wilson as Katie 👏 Superb supporting actors in a masterpiece of a series that must be a lot of fun to make 😁
That final, 'oh fuck you all' really came from the heart. The sign language lady signing it added a nice touch too. Having watched this, I gotta say, I really like Nat.
I work for a large Federal department, and this is so accurate to real life that it's scary. I'm very old school (near retirement age) and hate with a vengeance all of the management jargon that says nothing substantive.
Just find the code for your dvd player and make it region free so that you can pay the disks. Usually simple enough to enter a code it's all software controlled not hardware.
Having worked in, and been done over by goverment beaurocracies of all levels, as much as I enjoy the writing and acting, I find I get a PTSD reaction to Utopia and just want to throttle somebody!
12:20 I resonate with Kim so hard when you’re trying to people please all the different departments and yet somehow you’re over them all. Nothing like being in charge of everything and yet somehow you still have to answer to everyone because of that woke nonsense
Nat is the kind of person that allows a nation to survive.
Best part is that AUSLAN interpreter who gets EVERYTHING Nat says
And there are no hearing impaired people in the room, she is there because......
The brilliance comes when you realise that all the objections were only about the CGI render of the project.
Who's Delgo Floyd ?
With this show, why did we feel the need to try and do an Aussie Office. Or at least the Aussie Office crew could have gotten Working Dog to work with.
A sentient human being trying to survive in a totally foreign environment - Writing and acting is over the moon!

I had a similar feeling until I started watching whole episodes recently. They are paced slower as the story builds up. Give it a shot.
I'm assuming you office workers need to grow some balls. Stop being such babies
Me either! I'm glad I'm retired as I wouldn't cope in a workplace like that. Mine was bad enough! 😬
8:55 "We're a government organization; we can't just waste taxpayer money." it's so funny to me I don't know why
ron swanson would have laughed at that line
I've contracted in a couple of government engineering departments. They are incentivised to waste money. Its unbelievable
The sensitivity training section makes me want to cry because I've experienced something very similar.
I’d refuse to do that. I’d rather work somewhere else.

I always crack up when ASH turns on NAT and takes sides of the other person and when they leave he immediately turns back😂😂
That last planning committee scene is brilliant..Nat is such a good actress
As someone who's worked in local government, the bit where the Karen questions a man holding a child's hand is bang-on accurate.
Nat is the character.
I love Scott getting ready to ding the bell for Nat’s workplace behaviour scenario like he’s a contestant on Family Feud.
Celia is a really good actor. She is equally convincing as a completely different character in Rosehaven.
Everything about this is brilliant. From concept to script to acting.
And all this time l thought it was a fly on the wall doco 😂
Every episode I have this feeling of giving her the biggest hug I could give
Big storms are hitting Perth this weekend so I might crank up the heater and binge watch Utopia again on iView. Perfect weekend!
Stay safe and enjoy! 🙌

pirate it
i think if you grab a VPN then choose a server in Australia, you should be able to watch.
Get a region free DVD player and order the Australian DVD set. That's what I did.
BidenHarris wont like that they call this tv show unenclusive, white supremacist, maga support.
Interpreter giving the finger at end. Brilliant
Nat russel is the heart of this show
Rhonda is the appendix because if she leaves then no issues and less health problems for other employees
"I knew a bloke juat like you once"
"I'm not a bloke"
That's like.....exactly my sense of humor lol.
Yep

I love that Celia is the sanest person in that office.
Celia is absolutely brilliant.
11:42 is hysterical! The way she delivers the line and the absurdity of it!
This show is terrifying in its accuracy and hilarious.
11:10 cracks me up everytime, extremely well scripted!
And acted too. That guy has got the character completely nailed.

This is one of the best shows ever!! It gives voice to SO MUCH of what I have to contend with at my job.
"Oh fuck you all"... .😂
From everything I've seen, this show looks brilliant. I would love to actually watch it, but have no idea how.
it's available on Netflix in Australia. i use vpn to watch it from Japan❤
I have an interview tomorrow and this is helping me to get ready. This is too relatable.😅
If The Office and Yes Minister had a love child in Australia
this is the child of "the hollowmen" and before that "the games"
Please make this available in the US please. I am rubbing my butt on the floor trying to find a way to watch this in the US.
Doesn't a VPN set to Australia work?
"rubbing my butt on the floor"

The sign language interpreter goin' double barrel at the very end is so good.
Tony and Nat; the only sane people left in a sea of cultists and idiots. 🤣
Adapt this for the German market. We are crippled by bureaucracy. You would make a huge show-success here.
0:14 we've all had that cathartic "open dialogue" before 😂
It is. It ISN'T! It is. IT ISN'T!
Australia is going to start implementing walking speed limits in the office at this rate
Can we still not get this in the UK? I’ve tried but only get messages about unavailability.
I think it was released in the UK under a different name - I think it was called Dream Land because there was already a show there called Utopia.

Nat's undervalued!

These clips switch back and forth from making me laugh to giving me a headache

that this is so close to home in my workplace is astounding! 🤣
