The "Panzer Grey" period of the German army for Rapid Fire! rules and in 20mm

  • Another plastic and resin force amassed through decades representing the Germans present at Poland, France and USSR up to February 1944. The brown camouflaged vehicles of the first few minutes give away to more grey as the video overcomes July 1940. As usual some mistakes are said (once "Barbarossa" is mentioned instead of "Blitzkrieg"). Also a few correction: the forgotten brand of Renault ADH is ShellHole Scenics; the 3d resin combos are, yes, coming from China but made under Eskice licence and the true brand of the Stug III 0 series is IBG and not FtF.

Thanks smoothbrush, yes, markings are important specially because it becomes repetitive when everything is the same color.

Great to see more of your collection as always. Nice conversion of the figures, and the Airfix 88 and tractor too. The Tiger at the end of the video looks like it began life as an Airfix model, but you've added lots of detail to it 👍👏👏

Thanks. Yes, the tiger is Airfix but with a few extras as you say.

Excellent video. I always love your models (and the amazing potential they hold for gaming) but something I really enjoy is your knowledge of what is what (and how you converted it) in such a vast collection. Thank you for posting.

Thanks. In fact I do these videos from memory and going from Saxons to WW2 is not easy. But on my blog you can find more detailed information on each small group.

First of all there is no need to apologise for historical authenticity. What a great selection, I am currently wondering about the 1940 grey/brown cammo, now i can see your examples I feel more confident about applying it to my german 9th Pz Division models, along with horse drawn artillery in the infantry divisions, and cavalry / bicycle troops in the cavalry division!

Thanks. The brown was 1/3 of the total and applied quite freely.
