Actually HYBE posted on twitter that a BTS member would be performing songs from his solo cd at Times Square and it starts in 30 minutes.
This has to be one of the most unique performance stages in the world. Literally, an extended stage out of a digital billboard on the side of a building in the middle of Times Sq. Amazing performance!!
The only other artist who performed there was Post Malone. Definitely unique!
This must be the dancers favorite assignment. JK slayed with such a small space. He sang and spoke so well considering how hard he went on the choreo.

This performance just shows you that JK is HIM. Everything about this performance was perfect. Vocals, dancing, JK!?! So so glad that he played Yes or No. That's my fav song from the album.
This was so great. Consistent vocals, beautiful dancing, and look at the crowd he drew with just 30 minutes "official" notice! All we knew from the day before was there would be a surprise in NYC. Detective ARMY's figured it out with the billboard being cleaned and JK's Calvin Klein ads going on the billboard about 1/2 hour before the event. Then the stage opened up within the billboard. I saw a fan cam with the view of the billboard going showing his performance (which is good 'cause you couldn't really see JK too much from the street without it. ARMY represented. I'm so glad we got it on BANGTAN TV channel though. Thanks for the fun reaction!
I saw this on Friday and all I could think was ... I hope you guys react to it. And you didn't disappoint! JK didn't disappoint either. And neither did NYC ARMY. That man was literally born to be on a stage. I'm just thankful that my All-Star aged self is lucky enough to witness it.

Can you believe ten of thouands of people gathered for a surprise event that officially announced just 30 minutes before the show? All started from an Army tweeted 5 hours before the show "Ey, why are people cleaning the Billboard?". Twitter went full on detective mode right away and without knowing whether it's true or not, they just made a bet and flooded Times Square. And they won, US ARMY were so lucky to witness a legendary performance in real time. I'm so proud to live in the same era of a legend in the making, JUNGKOOK, you are a MEGA GLOBAL POP STAR!!!
It was so crazy watching the whole thing unfold in real time 😭😭 truly one of those moments that will go down in borahistory

The fact that this was a surprise performance that nobody knew what was gonna happen and still had that big of a crowd really shows how huge of a fan base BTS has . Actually HYBE posted on X ( formally known a twitter) that a BTS member would be performing songs from his solo cd and that the performance starts in 30 minutes and a NYC Army, but on X, why are they cleaning the billboard in Times Square 5 hours before HYBEs announcement, so ARMYs started to go there.

This concert has clearly shown everyone, especially haters, that JK doesn’t use autotune and sings LIVE, unlike many so called artists who can’t sing a note without it and made millions with little talent. And not to mention the dancing, the use of a prop, singing in a foreign language etc etc. Now that is pure talent and he really is a true shining star. Even overcoming his shyness in interviews and conversing in English, hyping the crowd on his own without relying on RM or being on his own doing this. Having supported him since he was about 17, I couldn’t be prouder of what he has accomplished all these years. I feel so so proud and humbled by all our BTS members’ incredible talent both as a group and as solos.
He doesn t just sing Live, he had almost all of his promotions with Live feed. Anything can happen during Live feed, the confidence he has in himself & his vocals to do that 🤯And he never, never disappoints, literally every performance is better than the previous. It s so hard not to love this human especially with the way he repays his fans. Free concert with Live feed for everyone to see, in NY, free concert in Seoul with Live feed, he is absolute amazing. I m taking the day off to see his concert on the 20th of November. I m so excited for it.
For real, people need to remember he is learning English, yet he got 3 back to back to back No 1 hit songs in English and a full English album. So on top of the vocals , live, LIVE WITH DANCE, he’s doing this excellent in a language that is not his native tongue.

@reiang9637 Exactly. It s so funny to me when I see his haters complain ab JK s english songs, lets be real if their fave would do an English song they would be ecstatic. Singing in perfect english is hard & it s 1 thing to record in a studio and a whole different ball game to perform english songs Live. Truth is JK is the only one who had the courage to do this, all english album & then sing & perform all songs Live
@@reiang9637 agreed. Idols tend to learn Japanese first because it’s their first market outside Korea and the grammar is constructed the same way as in the Korean language. But learning a Latin-based language like English is very very difficult. Just like Korean and Japanese are difficult for us to learn. So am really really in awe of Jungkook.

You said it right ... these dance moves pay respect to the OGs. And these moves are timeless. Its NEVER about copying (yes, antis see it that way) but these moves and beats have definitely transformed music to what it is now. JK paying homage but at the same time giving it some spice! By the way the choreographer for "Seven" is Brian Puspos who is also one of his backup dancers. Brian was the dancer who JK had say "Hey" into the Mic and he has been in all the live performances I've seen with JK during this promotion of the album songs.
I love Brian's work for BTS for their song, Butterfly, and Jimin's Serepenty. 💜💜💜
I love Brian, I just wish ARMYs on Twitter would stop harassing him 😢😢 poor guy, then we wonder why outside people see all of ARMY as a toxic mess 😢
So glad I went that day to watch him. The energy was incredible he’s such an entertainer. He oozed confidence and charisma. Also after the performance there was a golden truck selling albums and golden merch
I absolutely love the audience participation! Especially in Yes or No! I have friends in NYC that rushed over to see him and they said it was sooo cool! The city blocked off the road because there were so many fans!!! So cool!
The dancer that JK put the mike in front of is Brian Puspos. He is a choreographer that both JK and Jimin used to like since the trainee days. Brian is known for a lot of super detailed hand movements in his choreography. He also choreographed Serendipity, Butterfly, My Time, & Seven

I haven't watched JK'S Times Square performance with any other reactors because I was waiting for you guys. You're my Fam 💜 Now that I've watched it with my brothers, I could rewatch it with my younger brother reactor, Nigel Baker.
In my opinion, I think JK out performs himself every time. He raises and surpasses his bars every time. I enjoyed the performance ever more so. I can’t wait to see what more our guys if BTS will bring when they get back together in 2025.

This has got to be the most crackheaded reaction you guys have done in a while!!! Best laughs for a Monday morning! You need to check out the fancams for the complete visual of the performance. The crowd is watching the huge screen surrounding the stage that is showing the complete stage performance. Local newstation helicopters were trying to capture it, too. Our boy caused a frenzy in New York. So proud!!! Borahae!

Haahaa it's fine, I'll walk into work a bit late for this! Loved the video yall! I'm always a little proud of myself for calling out the things that may get a big reaction from any of you! Jungkook really did a great job! I think the order of songs was great too...he was able to slow it down and chill in between some amazing dancing! All the dancers killed it too...of course! Yall know if someone is going to work alongside any of Bangtan - they gotta come ready to work, BTS just knows how to inspire greatness in themselves and in others! His vocals and adlibs were astounding! I love whenever he takes out his in-ear so he can hear the crowd...he said before in interviews that he loves hearing ARMY. I’m so happy forJK and how he cares for ARMY so much! After his post on Weverse apologizing for what he felt was a not so good live the Today Show, I felt so sad for him! He puts so much pressure on himself to be perfect and there’s nothing you can do when it’s weather. If anything, they could have made an indoor area for him.
