I bend out the individual prongs of the tip open to allow the prongs to expand and hold better. If the prongs are not spread out, the tip acts like a single point spreading very little...that equates to lost fish! Allow the carbon steel to rust a little to add to holding power (per Hawaiian diver video)

So how well has it worked with the aftershock feature? It it just a gimmick or is it effective?

That back section won't bend and become deformed? It sounds like a good spear

Ok so here's a thing this looks stunning but does the 180 price tag give me that much benefit over a much cheaper spear, my concern is that I could get a nice speargun for the same price? Which leads to the pole vs gun question.

You aren't buying a nice gun for $180

@@undrwtrassassin3947 exactly 💯, you need around 300 for a good speargun

Yep but you need to spend £600.for a good pole spear ie a headhunter predator roller.my kill rate with it and a gun is the same,I find shooting a gun scares the fish away leaving me alone but with the pole I can swim and hunt in school of fish all day long but it's shit for hunting caves but I think it's wot you want to shoot That matters really

Is the pistons thing practical or just a gimmik ?

Hello, can you take a section out and still use the shorter spear?
