I only learned a few years ago in my 40s, that the fitted sheet has a tag in the bottom right corner. That goes on the bottom right corner of your bed!

In Spain (at least the people I know) use old clothes teared in pieces, if it's cotton it works better. From an old t-shirt you can create plenty of rags. We put it in warm water with soap and just clean and wash as we go. It's the most enviromentally-friendly I found, and you can hand wash the clothes if you don't want to add to the laundry trip (but I use two or three pieces of cloth for cleaning the whole house, as I wash it in the water with soap all the time). I love Blueland’s soap! Been using it for years. And last time, I accidentally ordered a new soap kit instead of soap refills. So I asked to do a return and they gave me my money back and told me to keep the items and share with someone instead of mailing it back (reduce footprint). Which was amazing! I ended up giving it to my friend who was looking to try new eco friendly soap. Win for me and a win for blueland on getting a new customer :)

6:15 - My family, but also the majority of Germans, use cloths for cleaning. For the majority of surfaces, you can get a cotton one or use old shirts :) Then you can simply put the cloth in lukewarm water with a little detergent or curd soap and ‘wash’ it in the water.

Hi Tisha! I think microfiber dishcloths are the best when it comes to cleaning. You just mix water with a cleaning product in the sink or in a bucket, soak and rinse and it will get most surfaces clean, except for like the oven and those extra dirty places. I use separate ones for the bathroom and the rest of the house. You can just throw them in with the laundry. There are also attachable cloths for cleaning the floors that you can easily wash and reuse many many times. Anyways thanks for your videos, always enjoyable to watch! (and as for the light bulbs you’ll need a special tool to remove them).

if you use a sponge or sponge towel for cleaning, you can boil it in water to sanitize. Just use an old pan that you are not using for cooking any more. I think you can also do in the microwave, but I have no experience with that.

to "UN CLOG" : boil some water.... 1 throw baking soda down the drain, then throw in some distilled vinegar, once it starts foaming up....then pour in the boiling water & it should clear the drain on the first try...if not do it again ( works in the kitchen sink also) You can use a product called "Swedish Towels" they are reusable quite a few times until you throw them out inside of paper towels.

There’s hair trapped in the sink drain, happens to me all the time, buy a drain cleaner, like drano or the like, you just pour it in and let stand 1/2 hr, it eats the hair and bingo, water goes down nice.

Try buying what’s called a snake at a hardware store. Using drano can damage the pipes according to plumbers. The snake will get the hair out of the drain. Good luck.
Hi Tisha! For the drain buy some Drano pour it down ( follow instructions) and then I boil water to pour down after. For the fitted sheet I feel your frustration, what I did is I put a dot of nail polish on the sheet. I did this when I took it off ( it dried in a minute or two) I chose the bottom of the bed left side. It doesn't wash out, you can't see and it's so much easier to make my bed. Just find that corner 😊. I love your bedding and can't wait to when you change that horrible gold/ orange curtains on your closet 😮. Looking forward to your decorating videos! 👍❤️

I watch another You Tuber who loves the Blueland products!! When I clean I use reusable cloths such as Handiwipes and those made by Scotch Brite. They usually come 3 in a pack and are very soft and durable to use. After a couple of uses, I clean them in a mixture of vinegar and baking soda, rinse, then hang dry. For me, paper towels rip too easily. Just my preference 🙂 I can't wait to see how you decorate your apartment!!

GREAT SPONSOR/Ad. Right down to compostable packaging. Nice cuts too on the ad. You’re a genius. There are TH-cam videos on weekly drain shenanigans. It’s vinegar. Hot water baking soda. But I would put in a maintenance request to be sure. My sink strainers keep hair etc out of the pipes. 🙈💋💋💋😂 because a stoppage cleanout is $50 or more. I’m always on the look out for non toxic cleaners. My daughter just moved so it’d be a great gift for her. She is very selective about chemical - free cleaners. I bet she’d love this brand. On a similar note , FYI : LED bulbs are not good for you. Idk what kind you have , jus passing on that info. The best kind to get are full spectrum bulbs. That said , I myself need to get those ! Haven’t gotten them in forever. Where to buy ? Maybe at a health food store ? I think Bon Charge website may sell them. Most of their stuff is super “high ticket” items : outta my range. But I’m pretty sure they sell full spectrum bulbs as well. Who knows ; maybe full spectrum vs other bulbs even help reduce anxiety. Wishing you a fantastic week ! Liz
Just want to add that when cleaning work from the top down i.e.vacuum after you've dusted and wiped down any surfaces. Then you'll be vacuuming up any crumbs etc that fall to the floor! 😊

1:57 my sink/bathtub was clogged once, it was hair stuck from past tenants and next door tenants.
Hiii! I love your videos and have been watching for a year or so now! Thank you for making videos and taking the time to do so! Btw for your sink, if you think it may be due to hair, I would recommend a drain snake hair remover tool which you can buy online or at target/walmart/etc. And/or you can use a drain cleaner product like draino, liquid plumr, mrs.meyers (or you can try pouring an organic mixture of 1/2 cup baking soda + 1/2 cup vinegar, wait an hr, and pour hot boiling water after to clear it). Hope this helps

Find that corner to start, then put it on the right corner of the bed- standing at the end / foot of the bed. Hope this makes sense. Have a great week.

I have the same lightbulbs in my place. The one with the prongs at the end right? Idk how to describe it, but I try to grip the flat surface of the bulb against the flat of my thumbs then twist. Ik that sounds odd, but that’s the only way I’ve found to do it. Or maybe use like a cloth and tongs?? Glad the last tenant left you a whole box, those ones are annoyingly pricey

For Your DRAIN, Baking Soda & Vinegar w/ hot water!
The chinese dumplings are really good at Trader Joe's. In my next vlog I ate them with soy sauce and garlic with brocoli. The chili onion sauce is too spicy for me.

I just use a washcloth when cleaning. I wash it with soap throughout the cleaning I'm doing (different ones for bathroom and kitchen, etc) and I'll use soap and rub it against itself, rinse and wring it out as much as possible and then leave it to dry before putting it in the laundry. I live alone and don't do laundry everyday or even every other week so doing this I don't have to worry about the rag getting the rest of my stuff wet or dirty while waiting.

For your sink, it’s probably just a simple p trap clog. They’re super easy to take apart and clean since they’re just hand tight nuts. It’s that white u shape pipe under the sink!

Norwex Envirocloth is a good alternative for your kitchen. You can clean it under hot water, just by scrubbing it with itself and hang to dry. Boil it in water for a deep clean.

I can't imagine living in such a small apartment or living in NYC - I need hiking trails within close distance. Why I Iove Las Vegas - perfect mix of glamorous city life and 20 minutes away from the best hiking trails and gorgeous scenery. I can see mountains from my apartment. I would have a panic attack without mountains and scenery!
