This cave looks awesome! I will be exploring it in two weeks. Question for you if you do not mind. Was the second rope already fixed in place? Did not see a way to get up there and set a rope. Thanks!
Yes, the "up" rope is a fixed rope but you do need to bring two more for the next two drops after you go up. There is also another passage that goes under the waterfall area where you can explore as well.
It was great meeting you, Ben and Morgan as well as Angie. Hope to get underground with you all again. Maybe we can lead a pull down trip here in Marion County soon.
You should make a video on your gear set up. Im really interested in all the grar you guys are using and any recommendations you have. Also itll be good content.
How are those Rude Noras treating you one year on? Its probably going to be my next headlamp purchase (I've had a great experience with my CustomDuo V42 omni).
We are loving them. Although, I do need to adjust the spot on mine. We love that it has so many settings. We used our El Speleo battery packs and run them on 28650 batteries.
Another Great post! Loved it! I sent you my address and email address. I hope you received it. That was so cool to watch, and I miss it so much it brings back great memories. I remember the pain and torture too, that made it even more fun (NOT). Jason had some climbing issues. Did his Petzel or Gibbs fail? Glad he made it out. I would hope to meet you both one day. Mud in your blood! Please keep up with the Excellent work. I look forward to the next one. God Bless!
Yea he needs to replace his croll. Got your message, will get the mushroom seasoning out this week. We spent today taking down some dead trees on our property for some firewood! Not as exciting as caving, lol.
You guys are amazing! Thank you for sharing such an adventure. Brave, brave and mighty souls you all are✊🏾
Thank you 🥰
I like going through the "commercial" caves, and this is best way that I want to explore a "wild" cave, via video.
That shot of Jayson hanging at the opening really shows off the size of that place. Nice shot.
Thank you
