@@xstrktu3937clarity would make you pick the best option. Obviously you take 25% more salvage vs a 5% hp increase… So hiding it (while annoying for us artistics) make you choose what you emotionally feel is best = most ppl feel better with an emotional win vs a logical win.

@TheDragonDesigns and CHF does a completely different thing on snipers. I feel like since SVD becomes a shotgun when PaP, it's probably worth it. But the 7.62 sniper becomes a rocket launcher, i wonder if it even helps at all.

Agreed. I just switch them to "Recoil springs" to reduce recoil, because i dont see stats changing when equiping the 2 ammo attachments (except for dragonsbreath)

Realistically, this doesn't make me think the suppressor is less mandatory, it makes me think the S.A.M trials are more mandatory. This was secretly a video about how good S.A.M trials are.
Great analysis, I actually hope that we get another attachment that improves the salvage drop rate like the muzzle break, I actually like listening to the sound of the unsuppresed gun sometimes
I just had a thought about the suppressor. The description is that there is a chance to drop EXTRA salvage which I think means that you have a chance to get 2 salvage from a zombie instead of always getting 1 salvage from a zombie. If there is a 10% increase in your salvage when you use a suppressor then on average, every 10 zombies that drop salvage will drop 2 salvage instead of 1.

i've found a liberty falls routine that gets pap 3, 4 perks (bought), and a 2 plate at round 16 100% of the time, and orange rarity at 18. sometimes 19. it also comes up with a raygun by round 20 about 25% of the time. it's absolutely incredible for setting up to grind those late rounds. -vending 80% of rounds -bowling twice -deadshot cans -church nade/blue tool -church crystals and that's it. it quite literally makes the zombies difficulty feel like mwz. adding trials makes it silly.
This is a great routine, going to give it a go soon. What i love about this game is that there are all these tricks to make game easier if you want to, but you don’t need to.
@joebhoyy yep, love the ability to min/max, or just play casually. My buddy and I typically split up the eggs, while we both get Deadshot. One tales vending and the first round of church crystals, while the other takes the zombie rain, and later crystals. While popping the bowling egg on rounds 7, 13, 20. Which almost 100% of the time produces a ray gun, and the other builds the jet gun. We do race for the loose change and pool table though haha.

FWIW - In BO6, you can’t “steal” zombie salvage drops from your teammates, unlike we could in Cold War. In BO6 it seems that when a teammate kills a zombie and salvage drops, each player gets their own salvage drop from that kill. So maybe on a team where everyone is running suppressors, that’s 10% more salvage times four players? If true, that’s pretty awesome - it benefits and encourages co-op. Either way, I’m going to crush SAM trials and side quests 😂 Great video, Doughnuts!
Headshots, multikill, and explosive kills will award you more salvage. Trains mostly award you with more salvage than slowly shot each zombie at a time. The example of shooting 20 zombies with assault rifle, sniper rifle, or launchers awards you different amount of salvage.
Idk how your editing process goes but you could get a huge sample size for all of your future videos if you just hired someone to track ALL of your stats from ALL of your games. I was thinking that if you had done this with your videos on XP gain and high-round difficulty, you would have already had some data to add to your sample. At 5:57, how do you get your hip fire spread so tight? I normally run the hipfire laser and I've tried the Deadshot augment for tighter hip fire, but my spread is much larger? Am I missing something?
I don't use suppressors because I prefer the normal firing sounds, if I do an EE or something that requires me to have a lot then I probably will use one.
Wow. I'm definitely going to be running some games without suppressors to see how it feels. 10% is way less than expected and probably not worth insta picking it every time. I'll have to look at other attachments now, not a bad thing tbh

I have found the armored zombies take about 85% less damage than unarmored which would show why the higher rounds feel sluggish with bullet guns. Also, a dive into zombie armor. What can a player do to maximise damage vs an armored zombie
Do headshots/critical kills increase salvage? And then would more headshots with a compensator (easier to hit crits, higher critical ratio) compare to using a suppressor (more salvage) but less critical-to-kill ratio?
I'm going to track these myself this weekend with & without chf barrel/Deadshot dq (dbl DMG Aug) for my friends that are just now starting their camo grinds and will happily turn over my data/vods for all the ones I get through
Theres no real reason to NOT take the suppressor.... The compensator and other puzzles should have their own zombies related bonuses that makes them viable. Maybe extra elite/special zombies damage? Maybe occasionally awards extra points?
To be fair the difference between suppressor or not a 4 man squad where everyone has it on might drop the rounds you can afford rarity upgrades should be more considerable

The real question is why would anyone run anything but a supressor you do not need the minor change in recoil in zombies in multiplayer yes but not zombies there isnt a logical reason to use a compensator when you could be upgrading your weapon rarity earlier or using salvage to craft items
Salvage doesn’t help much getting headshots compared to using rapid fire and chf and then deleting that recoil with a comp, so doing the camo grind I use comps
Im convinced they didn't test the split-screen version at all, its soooooo buggy. If I were the beta tester, I'd have about 3 pages of notes for the software engineer to work on 😂.
The more dynamic gameplay and much better rewards of the sam trials compared to the cold war trial machine is such an amazing upgrade

On cold war they had flashlight attachments that gave extra salvage
The flashlight makes sense. You can "find" more salvage with a light.

It's special to the LMG! It's the GPMG with hip fire laser! So good!
The crystals in the church are so great for salvage, they respawn surprisingly fast too (and all respawn when you save and quit!)

Salvage doesn’t help much getting headshots compared to using rapid fire and chf and then deleting that recoil with a comp, so doing the camo grind I use comps

Im convinced they didn't test the split-screen version at all, its soooooo buggy. If I were the beta tester, I'd have about 3 pages of notes for the software engineer to work on 😂.
