I show a simple, easy, and cheap solution that I came up with, to address the common problem of broken cartridge slot interlock tabs on Atari 2600 Junior models.
I found an Atari 2600 jr for 10 bucks and I was excited only to find the left spoke was broken off. Thanks for the idea. Don’t like how it looks with those screws though Wonder if a little dab of 3D printing couldn’t solve this problem
dogeymon83 That's a good idea too! I don't have access to a 3d printer, but I'm sure that would do the trick. That's what this retro game community should be about...sharing ideas. One good idea leads to another good idea. :-)

Clever fix, but I found a "Cartridge slot tab repair plate" on Etsy, worked a treat and very easy to fit.
I used to put popsicle sticks there, trimmed to fit of course and a bit of crazy glue

maybe you could hot glue a piece of match stick in there.or something like a piece of ink tube from the inside of a pen.
Fascinating fix. You are MacGyver;) thx for sharing.
Thank you! I hope this video helps some people fix their 2600 Juniors.
