Hello! We are working on a project focuses on a retro product that we’ve never had the chance to use due to our age. In this context, we’d like to hear your thoughts about the "Original Oldschool Atari 2600 Video Computer System". Did you ever encounter any issues with it? For example, were there moments when you thought, "It would have been better if it had/it was..."? Do you think there were aspects, such as the material quality or technical features, that needed improvement? Considering today’s technology and expectations, how could this product be enhanced or reimagined? Your insights would be incredibly valuable for our project!
Thanks for the comment. To answer your questions.. Back in the day, I never experienced any problems. Your talking about a 40 plus year old system, there are things that are going to break down and need repaired. Back then, technology was so much different. There is no way the engineers at that time could predict how it could be improved, I mean, they did to a point, but it was just another product that people wanted to put into the market to make money. And they did, then they moved on to the next one. As far as 're-imagining' it, It's already been done many times over. Retron 77 for instance and all the Atari Flashbacks. You can get every game on a CD and play them in your xbox, playstations, nintendos and even Sega!
