I love my f4u it glides beautifully and it’s crazy durable. I crashed into a tree with no damage at all and winged a soccer post full throttle and I can’t even find a trace of damage.
I find myself adjusting this plane every other day testing new things and I may have found a very nice setup that most people don't try that I will share soon when I have more confidence in it. I'm actually ordering 300mah batteries as they are 9grams instead of 10-11g stock and I recommend weighing and separating ur batteries if you don't already. I'll also post some flight footage in manual mode when I remake this . If you want to try my setup I'm playing with now for manual flight Im currently using the furthest aileron hole for least amount of roll and I switch my servo arm horns to both be set on the closest hole underneath the cover but I didn't move the holes for any control surface in the back so I have more torque on the surfaces than power essentially. And picking up a 4in1 from jumper t lite would be absolutely incredible upgrade it's like going from a Wii Remote to Xbox. It's that big of a jump I fly 95% in manual only takeoffs and landings in gyro now with my f4u
Very helpfull, thank you. Most of this applies to the P51-D version I have.

I've ordered a bunch of different drone motors and some of them make it much faster
