AJ has not fought anyone with a pulse since Usyk, Dubois came to fight he took the centre of the ring and AJ did not want any of it. The fight was over in the first round - simple really.

AJ was not world champion, so why should there be a rematch clause? safety net for AJ incase something like that happened and then AJ still has a chance of undisputed. AJ has had rematch clauses on every fight, there are loads of people waiting for there world title shot. AJ lost to the better man and now needs to wait his turn for another shot. Eddie saying in interview that AJ can still face the either Usyk or Fury next? what after getting destroyed by DDD. AJ should of not been fighting for a world title so soon after losing to Usyk. IBF should not even sanction a rematch with DDD. Boxing is so currupt.

I think the moment and event got to Joshua. He arrived really late to the stadium, looked nervous during the ring walk, and delayed taking his robe off during the announcement, and in the fight, he made really basic mistakes. He isn't a perfect fighter by any means, but he doesn't normally make those mistakes, and he is a better technical fighter than he showed in the ring the other night.
It was odd because everyone thought the event would get to Dubois, but it seemed to get to Joshua, despite him having so much big stage experience.
When Dubois walked to the ring, you could see he was confident, smiling, and full of energy. When Joshua walked to the ring, he looked nervous, without a single smile, and didn't seem to enjoy the moment at all.

From a pure boxing point of view not how many tickets one sells or fans one has I have to say this.
Firstly I put £50 on Dubois inside 6 and got hammered online suggesting AJ would lose, so yeah I did very well last night.
Anyway gotta say it, the best win AJ has is a points win over Parker. He went life and death with WK who was 41 years old at the time.
His last solid win was Pulev who was 39, 4 years ago. Wins over Povekin, 39. Takam, 39. Hellenious, 40. WK, 41 are exactly that.
I think what AJ has done for boxing in this country is fantastic, he’s done brilliant mage a fortune and with the limited skills he has only walking into a gym at 19 done great.
But… he’s just not that good, he isn’t. He’s a solid top 10 HW who had a juggernaut promotion and marketing machine behind him and he was and has been matched very carefully.
Dubois is 27 years old and boxer since he was a little kid, he’s not even reached his potential yet and those defeats didn’t ruin him they made him and that’s what separates fighters from boxers.
AJ didn’t get beat last night he got battered from pillow to post absolutely mullered and at 35 he’s not going to get better or suddenly improve.

Arrogance..that is what's wrong with AJ and Eddie nowadays. The look of arrogance on his face during the ringwalk, the audacity to make a champion wait while a challenger walks in, all AJ posters throughout. You need to be humble and hungry. And I am not sure why anyone would like to watch AJ vs Fury now.

AJ was shown for what he is, ordinary. The reason he lasted so long was he absolutely hung on Dubois like bitch. The referee did everything in his power to keep Joshua in the fight, including some questionable actions. He kept warning Dubois about using the forearm, but it was because Joshua was hugging him like a wife. Stopping the action to warn him about a low blow, it was the only low blow in the fight, he did everything to help Joshua.

On another day AJ could possibly be and that's risky to take back on but boxing is always risky, AJ had all the pressure and you could see that and well done to Daniel. Great night of boxing entertainment

Lennox Lewis was 1 of very few people that wouldn't pick a winner and said he wouldn't be surprised if Daniel dubois won.
Its all about money don't listen to the hype he wouldn't have went near Daniel dubois it was the man with the money that wanted the fight.
Anthony Joshua has been spoon fed opponent's since the usyk fights,

He's young and hungry, he will only get better, and good on him, everyone wrote him off, And now he has created an upset in the heavyweight division, and rightly so,he's gaining more confidence and experience with every fight, and he will one day reign supreme, and well deserved. Big dubois, and what a fight it really was fantastic for him and all the fans around the world 🌎. I wish him all the best for the future. WELL DONE DANIEL AND GOD BLESS YOU CHAMP. 💯👍🇬🇧

Was Lennox Lewis' rematch with Rahman at almost 36 YO "catastrophic". You guys go way overboard. Despite the beatdown Joshua didn't get KO'd until he went for the KO. That's HW boxing, and that's what gave us that epic ending. Let Joshua work on what he did wrong starting with fighting not to lose instead of being aggressive from the start. No doubt Dubois is a monster now, and a rematch will probably end the same way. But it should be more competitive and at least as entertaining as this fight until it ends. Give AJ credit; he was going for the KO with an uppercut when he got caught by the right he didn't see. He should have had his left hand up when he was throwing that uppercut. It was almost an epic comeback.

To be honest, AJ arriving late, I wonder why? I was annoyed and very disappointed by the Saudi national anthem, no place in this country for that as a sponsor. Competitors and state visits only.
If AJ looses a rematch fight it will justify the calls for him to resign after this defeat, crush his name to five defeats of which two were rematches he lost and he will then be condemned to retire rather than making a sensible choice now to to retire. You can see in his face, eyes and body language AJ has lost his fight mojo, almost like he expects people to fear him because of who is and that magic was smashed out of AJ by Andy Ruiz and he spotted AJ was vulnerable when Klitschko knockedAJ over.

@Boxing King Media, I disagree, Dubois is better than Joshua in many areas! Dubois is better at timing, jabbing and footwork, and he doesn't overthink in the ring, unlike Joshua. Dubois's power is arguably the same as Joshua's and their defence is roughly the same. Although, Dubois seems to be more disciplined in the ring, of the two of them. The shock came when Dubois came out in the 1st round, put pressure from the start on Joshua, and kept it going until his stoppage in the 5th, and how one-sided the whole fight was!

Come on, its simple, AJ has been massively overrated since day one. He has had a brilliant promotion team selling him, making all those involved with him millions. He never was what they were selling, he's a good domestic level fighter with a glass jaw, and that's all he is. Anyone who says different is a victim of the hype train. He hasn't beat anyone of note and the names he did beat, Klitschko, Povetkin etc they are old and way past their best. These ridiculous pundits need to stop talking shit and just talk straight about him. Joshua has made millions, by his team protecting him from real hitters like Wilder, and matching him with has been boxers. As soon as Joshua faces anyone with slightest hint of power he will get found out and dropped. If it wasn't for the fact that he is a giant even for a heavyweight, he wouldn't of got this far.
