Lu Feng was one of the badass Kung Fu actors back in the golden days. So much respect for the man.

All of the Venoms were fantastic, amazing to see these guy's recognized after all these years, Lo Meng, Lu Feng, Phillip Kwok, Sun Chen and the Snake, I can't recall his name, but damn I'm happy to see him.

I am still in awe of him today in 2021, as I was as a child. He is a great actor and fight choreographer!! I hope he continues to teach new generations!

Lu Feng's characters were real nasty guys. My favorite Lu Feng character was the lron Palm teacher who was sent along with colleagues Kicking Master , Sun Chein & light skills/ butterfly pole Master Chaenge Shaeng 2 the Ming Dynasty out post by the schools 🏫 they received their martial skills from.

The 1st 📽 film the Venom fighters appeared in ( with the exception of Pai Wei ) was The Chinatown Kid starting Alexander Fu. Lu Feng played a small role in the movie & if anyone can spot him , U R a real good fan 👏 👍. Actually The 5 Deadly Venoms was made 8 months AFTER Chinatown Kid.

27:45 Is exactly the question I have been wanting someone to ask to get ATTENTION! There is EVERY reason to make a "re-make" of the "5 Deadly Venoms" with the idea of the original cast as the "Elder Venoms"! This is exactly what I (and now I see others) have been thinking. The only thing that could screw it up is putting it into the wrong hands. I personally do not like most of the stuff coming out of Hong Kong/The Mainland of China. It does not have the atmosphere or capture the culture of the 70's to very early 80's era. People like Quentin Tarantino could more probably catch the culture of it better than most and with a great story line as well. Gosh, I hope this can happen and re-birth a franchise like the Venom series once again. There is every reason to believe this would work and with more success than what Lu Feng said himself when he was so surprised to see such a following existed in America...40 YEARS LATER!
If they ever decide to film a Venoms "remake" ( a spinoff or sequel ideally), someone like John Woo who has a connection to that genre, would be the perfect candidate to direct or produce such a movie. Much more true and authentic to the style. Although he's getting on in years, he's still very active in film.
Any American influence
(that includes Tarantino) would ruin it. No slam on him, he's an icon. But whatever he creates, it's still gonna look like a Tarantino movie.
