Install magnetic snaps with rivets when you are making leather bags, garments, or leather craft accessories that do not have a lining or where the back side of the snap will be viable. This way, the exposed rivets look more appealing and are more durable than snaps with prong backs.

Does the thicker vs the thinner setter really matter?

The think vs thin is mostly just for looks. In either case, the magnets have a strong, secure connection.

Can other table presses take your dies?

@@Buckleguycom I have a table press that requires a threaded end for the top portion to set a rivet, etc. your WC does not have a threaded end?
