Any way to deactivate the locked door for 'safety'? when it's in a drying cycle or a paused drying cycle?
I am not a child and would like to open the door whilst drying, to remove or add stuff, like I was able to with dumb dryers.
I hate smart things, thus I'm not very declined to use Samsung SmartThings if possible. (not that that bloat/malware will let me even login or register on my rooted samsung phone)

I turned child lock on but you can still turn machine off mid wash touching off button. I change my babys diaper on the machine and she touches on/off button with her heels. How can i deactivate that?

The Samsung child lock is not fit for purpose. It's obviously supposed to stop a toddler pressing buttons and interfering with your wash - but the power button is not locked, so one press of that and you have to repeat your whole wash. When you switch it back on, the door remains locked and the child lock active and you have to repeat your wash.
