    Exactly what I did with my 2011... Ivan’s made a huge difference and I love the sound of the Tri-flo’s! 👍🏼

      They are both fine motorcycles. As a retired motor officer I rode an Electra Glide every day for work. There is a reason I went with Kawasaki, one word, RELIABILITY. Harleys are fine motorcycles but I warn you, get the service plan when you buy one. Either way, versus the Kawasaki, the cost of ownership for a Harley will certainly be higher. Ride SAFE!!

    I just Ivanized my 2021 Vaquero. Wow what a difference.So much better. Quick tip though. Be sure to run it through a couple of hot cold cycles without touching the throttle to let the ECU learn it's idle again. Run it ten minutes or so maybe a couple of fan cycles then shut her down and let her go cold (three hours) then do it again. that's it, she's good to go.

      @VoyagingVoyager  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting you mention the idle, I had to the adjust the idle up because my idle was so low it didn’t want to stay running on a warm restart. Even to this day it still searches for a good idle RPM a bit more than before. I don’t consider it an issue and the Ivan tune is well worth it. Thanks for the comment!!

    Did you have to save the chrome shield from the left side to reuse with the new exhaust? I wish you had shown some footage of the left side. Great video, great bike and thank you for posting this. I am hoping to get my bike in the spring. 👍

      That's awesome man....about the bars and grips...I now have 64xxmiles on her with some 600+ mile days on the interstate....honestly, I have not had any comfort issues that make me look for new bars or grips. At this stage I am really happy with how it is. Also, for the record, the Voyager has the most comfortable stock seat ever made! Happy riding!

    Even after the Ivan Flash, I don't see how another 8 hp could do a thing for a 900 pound bike. I get the smoother response, deceleration, etc., but there is no way the bike can be any faster. I wonder why Ivan never posts any 1/4 mile times after the flash? That's because there is no change. A 900 pound motorcycle needs at least 140 hp to even move along (160 would be better). My bike has 145hp and only weighs 510 pounds and sometimes it feels like a moped to me. I almost considered getting this bike at one time, but the bikes power just seems to be a huge issue(based on all reviews). Why spend thousands of dollars trying to bump up 8 hp? Just buy a buy that actually has some power.

    • @VoyagingVoyager
      @VoyagingVoyager  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thousands of dollars, what!??? The Ivan flash is less than $400. Even on a 900+lb bike, a 10% increase in HP also increases the torque, yes, it can be felt. Also, smooth power feels better than a jumpy lean engine. I think you are missing the point of why the Ivan flash is so valuable. From the factory the power is not smooth, 6th gear roll ons are not smooth, the bike runs very warm, the Ivan flash takes care of all of these things. I didn't flash the bike to improve on my 1/4mi times. Honestly I couldn't care less about that. You would have to ride a voyager before and after to feel the difference. It's VERY noticeable. You mention buying a bike that "actually" has power. This comment is a bit tone deaf. The only touring v-twins that are comparable are made by Indian and Harley, both are far less (especially Harley) reliable and have a much higher ownership cost (up front and in maintenance) compared to the Voyager.

    • @bsjacks
      @bsjacks 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We dont do the flash for more hp on a 900 lb cruiser.. the flash makes the bike run cooler with a nice smooth throttle response. Flash cost $350.

    • @Airtouch67
      @Airtouch67 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bsjacksI've been researching quite a bit and apparently a lot of Voyager owners are saying the flash did nothing for the throttle response. Only thing it did was make the bike run slightly cooler. Also, the throttle issue can be fixed by simply bumping up the idle about 200 rpm anyway, so the flash would be irrelevant.

    • @bsjacks
      @bsjacks 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Airtouch67 -- Having your bike run slightly cooler is worth it to many of us.

    • @shawnmosley8412
      @shawnmosley8412 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The bike only seems to run cooler because the flash turns the fan on sooner. Stock, it doesn't run hot...The gauge reads hot creating a pucker factor if you idle a lot. These bikes have been this way for almost 15 years. The flash is really only needed if you do an intake upgrade for the result of 7-10 hp.

    How do you like the Voyager compared your Harley overall?

    • @VoyagingVoyager
      @VoyagingVoyager  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Compared to my 14 electra glide, the voyager is more comfortable, I like the fixed fairing compared to the batwing. Power is about the same. The voyager does highway miles very easily. Both are flickable for their size, by a small margin the harley handles better in the twisties. My favorite thing, in 6500 miles my voyager has not been to the dealer for warranty work other than the rear shock was leaking. Not the first engine problem. The engine is solid. The harley had been to the dealer for electrical problems, clutch problems, it developed a oil leak at the main engine seal at 4k miles. So far, I’m loving the Kawasaki.

    How would you rate the sound rim the pipes, are they overly loud? I’ve been looking at them too but some reviews say things like “can’t hear the radio”

    • @VoyagingVoyager
      @VoyagingVoyager  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Compared to the stock pipes there is a noticeable difference in what you hear riding the bike. I would not consider it obnoxious and I can still easily hear the radio duing normal riding. Over 70mph I cannot hear the radio, however that is not because of the exhaust noise. I just finished a 1,300mi ride last week and wasn't bothered by the sound at all.

    @kimdave2894 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is the Cobras a 3 or4 inch ??

    • @VoyagingVoyager
      @VoyagingVoyager  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      From Cobra:
      Tri-Flo Slip-on Mufflers
      This new version of our Tri-oval shaped mufflers uses a single exhaust port with a 3-inch core. Unbelievably deep sound and increased performance over the stock system.
      Tri-oval-shaped muffler rear seamlessly transforms into 4-inch round front
      5-inch wide, 4-inch tall thin-line aluminum tip
      2.5-inch high-flow core for superior performance
      Acoustical engineering developments allow an incredibly deep sound because of intense, class-leading resonance absorption and prevention
      Uses proprietary materials with specific acoustical dampening and thermal insulation properties
      The frequency and location of the perforation patterns in the cores creates significant sound scattering in the mid frequencies, which helps to enhance the low frequency tones.
