The Piast dynasty and their origins are a great mystery. The Slavs are also a mystery to this day in their origins on Polish lands. In this episode I will try to get you a little interested in this topic. And what I mean here is Kopiec Kraka 2.
The Krak Mound is more widely known, and its nearby neighbor is hidden in Krakuszowice among farmlands. That's where I went, tracing the early beginnings of the Polish State. Krakuszowice is a small, secluded village with a great treasure, an ancient mound today covered with trees and bushes. This mound was already known and around it numerous legends and even ghost stories have arisen. In fact, the ghost itself reminds us of the legend of an ancient Slavic leader. During the film, I will tell you about the latest history of the mound and the older ones, dating back to pre-Christian times. We will also climb the former Kurgan itself and learn a bit about its origins.
I will also mention the Legend of Krak for the first time. And so we come to the ancient Slavs and their customs of burning the remains of the dead. But that's not all. I will also mention the theory that the mound in Krakuszowice was part of a larger astronomical project of the Celts.
