  • In this video I am working on a 1967 Buick GS! Killer build with an LS swap and a Tremec TKO600! I will be pulling the TKO600 out and swapping it for a new TKX. I will also be going over some differences in the two transmissions, why he wanted to swap, and the benefits. Then I will be giving a simple overview of the car itself!
Again, thanks for watching! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share the video!

What oil did you fill with for break-in? How about the main fill after break-in?

Just running Dexron III atf for both. That’s what majority recommends for the TKX!

The TKX, T56, and 3650 are all recommended to use atf. The TKO’s have changed over the years. They have recommended synchromesh and atf. Then some have said 500 mile break in with atf then switch to synchromesh. Seems each company is a different!
