These mice last very well too. I've been dailying my Lamzu Thorn X Fnatic for a year or so. It still looks and feels brand new. Previous one I was using was a Glorious one and the plastic on that was visible worn away on points of contract after the same amount of time, getting all glossy. So Lamzu gets a thumbs up from me.
Maybe it depends on your living conditions. Mine started scrolling backwards, probably due to dust ingress via the bottom. After replacing the encoder, it became unable to charge, due to shorting out the USB pins. This speaks of shoddy PCB design, as the power and ground planes should not be accessible via the encoder pin holes.
@@richardhunter9779 I wish I could say that I live in a dust-free environment, but I'm as lazy as the next guy. I did use the dust cover sticker that's included with the mouse from day one though. Maybe that helped a bit?
I wish they'd change how they did the holes in the bottom. Instead of a sticker make it an actual plastic insert, or make 2 models where one has the holes, and the other doesn't. 1-3 grams is a nothing change for a decent amount of people. I have 2 dogs, and hair can get stuck in the sticker adhesive.
@@AceOfficial mostly the weight; for its small size, 60g feels like a paper weight. It’s so dense. The shape only works if you can finely move it around with your finger tips within a relaxed claw grip. Op1 8k being lighter makes the shape work. The clicks on the we are also way too heavy for gaming. The kails in the 8k are much nicer. That, and the wired responsiveness really is next level for feeling “connected” in game.

Have you ever thought of a mouse design that has a hole through the right side middle of the mouse that curls for your ring and pinky finger to go in to grip the mouse like you are holding a pole or something with only those two fingers and still have thumb mouse buttons on the left? I feel like this would help with mouse control because your fingers wouldn't slide on the side up or down on the mouse as much or drag on the mouse pad for people who don't like that. I think me personally would like a design like that.

I have been using the red Maya for 6 months mainly for work and CS2. For roughly 10 hrs to 12 hrs daily. Dust is a non issue for me on an artisan style matt. My Atlantis scroll wheel started becoming useless. So I switched to the Maya. So far so good.

I have been using the logitech g pro for 3 years, bought the small version of Fnatic Lamzu Maya but doesnt fit right for my palm grip. Would the X version (bigger) be better for my palm grip? just got it today, feeling it havent played yet, right now im trying to setup the software which i have no clue why on the pairing screen straight up isnt working when i press space bar. But i can say its deff the mouse and shape i've been looking for, a combo of GPX v1 and Viper v3 Pro, main Ex-Main was the gpx, i returned the viper because the hump was too crazy big for me. perfecto!
You sure you have the right version of the software? And check if the web app works too. It's a bit confusing, but it's most likely something like that.

I am torn in between getting Scyrox v8 or spending more for Lamzu Maya X. I know these are pretty different in shape but I dont know which I like more. The price difference is pretty saginificant and I dont know if I can justify getting Maya here or maybe I dont see something
Honestly depends on what shape you want but Sora v2 is good for claw and super light or there's the option of waiting for the EGG OP1w 4k which will probs release early next year

For your hand size, I'd go with the Maya (not the X). I've got 18x10 hands and decided to buy the smaller version. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. But at the same time I also bought the new Hitscan Hyperlight. I'm excited to compare them. Currently I have the Razer Cobra Pro which is a very similar shape to the Viper Mini, but at 77 grams it's too heavy.

One major factor all mouse people miss is surface position placement for the hand. I noticed when I am at a desk my bone hurts and when I crouch on my knees and put the mouse on a board near my body and the laptop on my bed then there is no pain and my aim is extraordinary I can react super fast like my hand is jittering and capable to adjust and make the right moves 100times faster in a miliaecond. Sitting on a chair and having your mouse on the desk is just retarded and sloth lazy position that deprives you of next level skill/ Future is adjustable mousepad board position desks. Also an elbow hook that pulls up your hand that nullifies the weight of your hand will make the aim supreme.

My Maya 4k unit had an infuriating flaw where the DPI button at the bottom did not sit flush with the shell. It scraped over the glass pad with a screeching noise and made the mouse unusable. Make sure you test the product before buying.

You're not impressed by a mouse that's 5.6cm at the fingers (grip width) and 11.8cm long only weighing 46g? The only lighter mice by the expected weight ratio (which is just for an idea) are the Ultralight X series from Finalmouse. It's the shape that's not special on the Maya, but the weight is amazing.

I own many Finalmouses (finalmice? Lol) including the Ultralight X. Definitely 🤓ing a little bit about the weight here but ultimately would not pick up a mouse this size and shape to use daily. My Glorious model D survived more than G pro wireless and older SS mice (Rival, sensei etc). I guess it's depends on luck too

How does the open bottom affect dust and gunk gathering inside the mouse?
Even with an open top, dust doesn't seem that big an issue, so on the bottom is even less of an issue.

Depends on your grip... fingertip and claw, yeah should feel good (depending on how long it takes you to adjust to it of course).
