I thoroughly enjoyed all that you had to share ❤ except the negative experience with the shop of course ! I love to watch the variety of stuff that you share on your channel. God bless the parcel delivery person to land at your doorstep just at the right time. We got to look at some more fabrics and the box! Thanks
That was a great vlog Claire, you have some great fabrics and makes. I purchased the leopard viscose satin from Rainbow Fabrics a few weeks ago and made it into a High Cuff Sweater, it is such beautiful quality. Your experience with the fabric shop was awful especially when they were aggressive with you for telling the truth, please don’t dwell on it. Take care ❤❤
@@JanetteTaylor-q8x thank you so much Janette. The high cuff sweater sounds fabulous in that satin! That is not a pattern I own but I definitely want to add that into my pattern stash soon. Have a good week 🥰
Oh Claire, I very rarely comment but just wanted to say don’t get upset about the ‘bad company’ you really don’t deserve that - you are such a positive person and kindly share so much - keep doing what you do so well and stay upbeat xx
Beautiful makes as always Claire 😍❤️ so sorry to hear you’ve had to deal with such aggressive tactics, that’s just so unnecessary and they have no right to make such demands. If they feel it fair to say flimsy fabric is heavyweight, then they should expect to be called out. On a positive note, Love your Drew obsession 🤪and I want a plain white version of that pleated shirt, it’s just beautifully styled. I hope you have a much better week ❤️😍 The Saturday skirt wool look amazing in that leopard print. I do love the darker leopard designs and so happy to see you got some of the houndstooth jacquard jersey, it’s such a lush colour!
The drew sweatshirts are beautiful, especially the panda one. I've ordered the new Maison Fauve ressac sweatshirt pattern this time but maybe I'll be tempted later! Sorry to hear about your online shopping experience, very stressful.
Hi Claire great vlog. I know how upset you will have been over your material. I ordered some material and a £20 voucher for a Xmas gift from a well known U.K. store. The material was in the bag but no voucher. Can you imagine how upset I feel. I have emailed them and waiting to hear. They probably think I’m trying it on, I have never ordered from them before so they don’t know me. I’m very upset by all of this because like you I don’t like confrontation. Fingers crossed I get this sorted. Love your material, Ralfies going to look very smart. See you soon xxx
@@wendybingham oh Wendy, so sorry to hear that. If they are a decent company they will resend. Did you order a digital version of the voucher by any chance? I just wondered if you had it in your email confirmation. Otherwise you may be able to ring them as sometimes that can also help. Good luck 🤞🏼 x
I got the olive velour from Jenny too. I made a hack of the vera top from forget me not patterns but instead of the v neck I used the neck and collar from the TATB Freya. It turned out great, perfect christmas day top.
Concerning the 3 m store: I have ordered several cuts from them and they were spot on. Colours shown online are often not quite what you would expect. That is the problem with online shopping. Would it have hurt them just saying sorry for the inconvenience? Not very customer friendly!
Wow! What a week Claire! I think you should name and shame that fabric supplier but understand why you don't feel comfortable doing so. That coral colour really suits you and as you said lights up your face. I love your dream wardrobe box and definitely have FOMO 😮. What pattern did you get for Ralph's jumper please? X
@@sewjennysews707 thank you Jenny! I did originally tag them in my stories but they were so horrible & aggressive/threatening that I really wouldn’t want to put myself through that again. 😢 The jumper pattern I purchased was this one from LilyLongnose (specifically for sighthounds); www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1311818819/xllm-whippet-turtle-neck-tshirt-pdf
I’m definitely feeling fomo on the drew sweater, I do love your versions. Awful experience with that company! It is always risky buying online but you don’t expect to have that sort of experience!
The Panda sweatshirt is my favourite but they’re all lovely. The Liberty tana lawn is beautiful and would make a pretty blouse. I like the bag pattern but a bag gets a lot of wear so a more robust fabric would suit it better I think. What a dreadful experience from that company. You’re entitled to give your opinion about a product (let’s face it they wouldn’t have the same reaction if you gave a good one). I don’t know if there’s a block feature on Instagram but that could be looked at. They missed an opportunity to show good customer service by their aggressive behaviour.

Great video as always, I’m so sorry that the fabric store was so awful. I’m not the best with aggressive behavior, but I’m also not good at being told what to do either. You are entitled to have an opinion about a product that you purchased that didn’t live up to your expectations, in America we have the Better Business Bureau that as a consumer you have the right to contact about this company. You could also leave a review on the business’s website or google about the lower quality product and also their abusive Behavior. I would definitely have screenshot their response and shared that information on my stories (along with not removing my post) so others could know to avoid doing business with this company. They really should have just apologized for the situation and offered you a discount on your next order or a refund and been done. I pray that you have a great week ahead, safe travels for your hubby. ❤
@@I_sew_slow aww thank you so much. Yes I think that would have been the better way to respond. There is no feedback option on their website & they also don’t accept refunds. I shall certainly check for that next time ordering from an unknown business. Thank you for your kind words ☺️
