Cindy, find your local dealer so you can try out the machines and play with the features. They are good machines with lots of supportive sewing groups. But because they are pricy, take your time to make sure you get one that suits your sewing needs best.
Actually, my machine is an older model that i just acquired late last year. So far, I'm enjoying it but haven't used it consistently enough to make a permanent recommendation, but I REALLY do love it so far.

I got the same Thread Art thread. Have only used them a few times on my embroidery machine, but had nice results.
