- The Stromer ST1 T is a solid, high speed city ebike with purpose built Aluminum frame, custom fenders and minimalist rack, premium integrated lights and hidden downtube battery. Available in two frame sizes and with an optional suspension fork for $350 more, the tires are large for improved traction and comfort and the saddle and ergonomic grips also feel good. Custom carbon fiber fork with stiff 15 mm thru axle (12 mm custom axle at the rear), the bike feels sturdy and the 180 mm hydraulic brakes stop well but also cut the motor and activate regen. One of the heavier, more expensive electric bikes out there but you get an excellent warranty and they're offering a free battery with purchase for a limited time.

I have a Stromer st1 - rode it for two summers, at 1200 miles the motor burnt up (or motor controller - its all located in the wheel unit). I was 1 month out of warranty... after repeated attempts to contact Stromer, finally got ahold of the warranty dept. They just sort of laughed and said - "yeah, sorry man nothing we can do for you." So I bought a $4000 bicycle that needs an $1100 part after 1200 miles... these bikes are gimmicky, unreliable and Stromer service is absolutely horrible to work with. Go with Yamaha or Bosch - Stromer won't be around long. Oh - and the shop I took it two had two st1's on the floor (poor people trying to get rid of them on consignment).
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my gf for the last couple of weeks =)

Nice bike but why should it be so expensive? I have an electric bike a cruiser with LG battery 20amp 48 Volt. Bafang engine. My bike has max speed of 40kmh. Stromer has a price of US $ 4200 in my country of Norway. My electric bike cost 1/4 of the stromer. I don't realize it can be so expensive? Possibly it is built in Europe then it becomes expensive. I have 1500 kilometers a few months with my bike. But I look at this Stromer. Max speed is 45Kmh? I like what I see. Maybe I buy it. I have several videos of my eletric bike. See if you want.
Nothing to do with being built in Europe, It's just as expensive everywhere! E-bikes just are... Unless you buy a kit and build one. Of course they do have cheaper options, They can be anything from 500 to 10000! But you get basic shit at the lower end, With the same money you can build a much better one!
I love your reviews, but the way you pronounce "Schwalbe" (tires) is awful! "Schwalbe" is the german word a swallow and I guess the closest phonetics would be "shvalbeh". Never mind.
Stromer combines power and style. A perfect bike for long tours. The fenders are cool. This bike has a promising future. Great video. Thank you very much.
hi for me the thing with quick release is , the owner is not the only person who can , better you need and carry a spanner, criminal's don't tend to walk about with spanners.
Commuter bike like this really should have a suspension fork.

Sure, overpriced like Humpty Plumpty's: hair, tans, ties, gold toilets, Don Jr's attorney, Eric's hooded onsies, Melania's face-lift's, Baron's shock treatments, Tiffany's dungeon room, Ivanka's sexy underthings (for daddy), the list goes on.
Stromer cheaped out on their early models, using Shimano Sora components and front fender struts of cheap very brittle plastic. I just bought one used and Stromer ignores my request for a little background info it seems they're in denial about ever having rushed a bike to market with those features.
