Loved CCR, and loved this album (Adventus) by The Departed. Frankly, it's in my Top 5 Texas albums of all-time. "Caught lightning in a bottle", as the saying goes. Too bad it was basically a one-off, with Seth James leaving the band after the first release of originals.

Cody has been going backwards. This song is OK, but there's just nothing special about it. Feels like formula made for Pop Radio, except it doesn't have enough of the elements to go pop either. I'm a musician and rarely critical of anyone, but I think big heads blew up CCR and they will never achieve separately what they could have achieved together. JMO

I didn’t care much for this entire record. Still bought it. Still support. It’s just not the best work they have done.
