Oh !! “but one ghost” sounds good
Your high note sounds like Taka's (one ok rock). I hope you don't mind.
Band-Maid play any type of music, is very good at telling stories. For me, their balled is excellent
you’re a vocalist. Introduce a Japanese singer to you. Her name is ADO (She just completed her world tour of this year). Try listening to one of her LIVE version “Unravel” (this is rock song). I believe you will change the opinion of what a vocal is

@@kinhungliu3175It's rare that I'll push much of anything outside of Band-Maid and Hanabie. But ADO is something wholly different and Extra Special.
Unravel - Live, is vocally mind blowing 🤯

      @toshimatyu6654 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      From Japan
Unravel is an original song by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. ADO covers it. The way the song is expressed is by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. I recommend listening to the original song as well. They have other great songs besides Unravel, and they have also influenced Sokoninaru.

      @kinhungliu3175 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

TK is a good singer. Frankly, what original or cover is not the point. Both ADO and TK they are all excellent singers. But, for mainstream, obviously ADO shouts can soothe your SOUL !!

As a long time Band-Maid fan, it has been such a joy to watch this band grow, as a band and as individuals. Saiki used to be known as the "Ice Queen" because she was shy and quiet. Now, she is an awesome and confident front woman of my very favorite band. Seeing Band-Maid in person has been the highlight of my life. I used to joke that I can't leave this earth until I saw them live, now, it's until I see them again!

Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 11th year with the original line up.
Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po!

Holy S***! I would have assumed you had heard them before. Well, you have opened the floodgates. They may be the best rock group in the world today (I think they are). They are certainly the most creative band since the Beatles, and they are top-tier musicians. I saw many of the classic rock bands - Purple, Zeppelin, Queen, Santana, many more, all in their heyday. I’ve seen Band-maid three times and their performances stand up to any of those legendary bands.
You are going to get a lot of suggestions. First, a little background on the band:
Saiki Atsumi - Lead vocals Born Feb 8, 1994
    MISA - Bass Born Oct 15, 1992
Kanami Tono - Lead guitar, Main composer and arranger Born Sept 28, 1991
Miku Kobato - Rhythm guitar, backing vocal Born Oct 21, 1991
Akane Hirose - Drums Born Dec 14, 1990
Miku was working in a Maid Café after being in an idol group that didn’t break through. She envisoned the idea of a maid-band that plays hard rock and metal. She recruited Kanami, after finding a Kanami guitar cover on line; Kanami then recruited Akane, who recruited MISA. Akane and MISA had been students together at the Tokyo Music Academy. The group decided they needed more vocal “oomph”, and collectively recruited Saiki. Miku didn't know how to play guitar when they started, so Kanami has been teaching her. She's become good so fast that she is really adding to the music mix, and Maidiacs are daring to dream of a dual shred.
The band was struggling early on, and in 2014, even as the label was considering dropping them, they posted the music video for “Thrill” which went viral globally. When they realized what was going on, it gave them the momentum to forge ahead, and they have now done multiple tours of Europe and the U.S. and are building a global fanbase who call themselves the Maidiacs.
They have released seven full albums, as well as several EPs, singles and music videos. They have put out around 170 songs, covering a wide variety of styles and sounds, without any duds. They combine a punk vibe with instrumental virtuosity (two things that are often seen as being incompatible), and have done some amazing progressive-rock songs and ballads with a metal edge to them.
They toured the U.S. in 2022 and sold out 14 cities in less than 48 hours. They followed it up with a 2023 tour which had to be expanded from their original plans. Their fan base skews heavily to actual practicing musicians. Some of those followed the band to multiple dates and documented everything on youtube-some of the footage is hilarious.
I’ve seen them in 2019, 2022 and 2023. Their shows are truly life-reaffirming. So far no announcements of another European tour but it seems likely in 2025.
Band-Maid are that rare band that sound perfect live, even better than in the studio. Everything they have posted from their 10thAnniversary concert in Yokohama is absolute fire-I have bought the DVD and recommend you do too. 33 songs, 3 hours of insanity. The best clip on YT from that concert is “Hate?” th-cam.com/video/yfORoQIqB3E/w-d-xo.html
Here are more links, to older performances:

    Onset (Instrumental-insane!) th-cam.com/video/mVrN-j_Uc0U/w-d-xo.html
And an official MV, one of their most popular: Daydreaming (it’s a slower ballad, gorgeous and truly heart-wrenching): th-cam.com/video/RCaeUkrItyY/w-d-xo.html
If you want more background, I suggest you react to this classic interview. It's hilarious, it's insightful, you will learn their names for good, and their cuteness will destroy your brain. Oh, and they are completely nuts. th-cam.com/video/R4PofsQYwn4/w-d-xo.html

The guitar/vocalist with the red rose on her hair piece had the idea for the band when she worked as a server at a maid cafe and thought the contrast between cute outfits and hard rock music would be cool. She's right it is cool. So this was an organic idea not a record label or management gimmick.

There are strong rumours that Kanami, already a PRS pro for quite some time, is about to get her signature model. She was teasing a partial picture of a headstock a couple of weeks ago.
She's possibly the best PRS player in Japan, so it makes sense and other PRS pros like Herman Li are big fans.

Band Maid is the most pleasing thing my ears have heard in over 30 years. It's not just the superb transitions and riffs. It all starts with the humble souls of the band members. I'm convinced they have no idea how good they really are. They don't dwell on such things. They represent all that is right, true and good about a band with great talent and miniscule ego. I'm glad to be alive to witness it and to have seen them live in Detroit in May '23 ! ❤️🔥🤯

This is Band-Maid Rock. I laugh when some of the comments try to label these ladies and miserably fail. You "might" be able to throw a label on them for each song but even that is highly doubtful. Each generation comes out with new genre labels to try and separate their tastes from others which creates confusion. We Maidiacs say, "this is a Band-Maid genre" or simply "Rock". Anything else is just uninformed rhetoric. These ladies can (and do) mix and match ALL genres and sometimes all in one track. I'm an old Hoosier (Greensburg but moved to Ohio 5 years ago)) and have been around for 65 years listening to all the greats in Rock. The Maids can stand beside ANY of them. IMO they are the greatest rock band on the planet today and arguably ever. You never know what their next tune will sound like but amazingly they are all good. This is a band that you cannot form an opinion on by listening to a few tracks but unfortunately many do. With over 125+ tunes to listen to, only a few are good and the rest are spectacular. I hope you continue on this journey and dont miss out on history being MAID. Good reaction!

Your midwestern comment made me laugh. I'm in Indianapolis, and know several who like this band. I have seen them live four times. But, the best show I went to was in Chicago. The band at each location was just as fantastic, but the crowd in Chicago was totally involved in the show. And talking to people around me. The people were mostly from Illinois (of course), Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan. It was the most fun I have ever had at a concert.

Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Band-Maid is one of the best bands in our country, especially in live performance. We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄

You have just discovered one of the best (IMO the best) rock band in the world. Some career advice is to follow the Band-Maid story and song list (over 130 recorded songs. They have remained intact as a group for over a decade in an era where bands break up all the time. Band-Maid uses elements of every genre but defies being genre specific. Their rock ballads and acoustic sets are as beautiful as it gets. Another benefit is reacting to Band-Maid videos is you will garner a following that you never knew existed and it's massive. Just look at how many likes and subsribers the Band-maid TH-cam channel has worldwide. If you wish to get your music out, tag it like you did to this reaction. You might be surprised at the following you may get.

Okay, names, pronunciation, nicknames, and roles, in order that they joined the band.
Miku Kobato - mee-koo - Kuruppo, the Little Pigeon, the Little Engine Who Will - band founder, backing (and occasionally lead) vocals, rhythm guitar, principal lyricist, tireless Spokespigeon and PR machine. Wielder of weapons grade cuteness. Poker shark and horse racing fanatic. So determined to see her band succeed that she fired herself as lead singer (she decided her voice wasn't strong enough for hard rock), then went looking for a replacement. Learned to play guitar after the band was formed. Definitely eccentric, possibly insane.
Kanami Tono - kah-nah-mee - Kanamincho or just Mincho - lead guitar, keyboards, principal composer and arranger. On stage, she's a savant mad riffer with a room temperature IQ and a huge crush on Saiki. In reality, she's a genius, and not just musically- she has a degree in economics with honors. A sweet, motherly woman who turns into a beast when you hand her a guitar.
Akane Hirose - ah-kah-neh - A-chan, the Gorilla - drums, sequencing, snacks, the leader the band doesn't have. What you see is what you get- a cheerful jock with a huge appetite who burns off the calories murdering her drums. Completely unflappable. Frequently snacks between songs. Has been known to sign her banana peels and throw them to the audience.
MISA - mee-sah - the Barefoot Assassin, MISA MISA MISA! - bass, booze, occasional wet work. Usually stone faced. Barely acknowledges the audience's existence. Always has a beer or a bottle of Jim Beam on her Orange amp. Originally, these were ways of coping with stage fright. These days, that's just how the assassin rolls.
Saiki Atsumi - sah-ee-kee (but Psyche is close enough) - the Ice Queen, Sensei, Sai-chan - lead vocals, some lyrics, the "We're done" girl. Fashionista and train nerd. Regards her band mates, especially Kanami and Miku, with bemused exasperation. In total command on stage; hides behind Miku off stage (she's actually kind of shy).

The Vocals & Musicianship are World Class. I am a major fan of Band-Maid World Class. Musicianship. These 2 Bands just wrote an Excellent song together in Japan. 🔥🔥🔥"Show Them"

Just listened to your song. As a hard core metal head, I'm not too into City of Sounds style of music. Having said that, you've got a great fucking voice. You've also got some pretty crazy song structure going on. I wish your band the best of luck.

Welcome to the BandMaid experience. The greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century. Here's some opinions and facts:
•Bass solos are more likely to happen than not. There's a bass solo in their first video!
•Guitar solos are shorter, far shorter than you would like them to be
•Unless you are superhuman, you will not/ can not be able to pick up everything they're doing to make that song great on the first listen.
•Genre? Genres?? We don' need no stinkin" genre!
•You like a hard rocking crazy fast tune? Well how about it done as a slower acoustic version? They do that.
    •April Fools Day 2019
As a joke they recorded a redo of Secret my Lips with traditional instruments and with lyrics in a Kyoto dialect. MV is stunningly beautiful.
•The linchpin member of the band gets the least notice/praise. The Mighty Miku Kobato founder/original lead singer steps back to make way for a new more hard rock vocalist. They want her to hold a guitar so she does and learns to play on the fly, performing all the while she's learning. So the person who willed the band into existence, who is the primary lyricist, the only member who sings and plays an instrument most of the time gets the least comments from reactors. Oh yeah she has her own signature model guitar from Zematis.
•10 plus years with the same line up. Think about that.
•More hooks, riffs and motifs in many songs than most bands have on an album. Check it out. No hyperbole.
•Use of puns, wordplay using homophones between Japanese and English are not the exception. They are typical of Kobato's lyrics.
•Despite the fact that their LIVE videos are superior to the official studio MV"s the latter are excellent. Funny, graphic, innovative and stunningly beautiful works of art describe what you get with BandMaid's official MV's.
•As close to the Beatles in terms of unique persona of the members as any group since the Monkees. MISA is quiet and drinks. Akane is happy and eats, Miku is klutzy and CUTE, Kanami is an airhead who crushes on Saiki and Saiki was the Ice Queen. But the Ice Queen has thoroughly thawed. See Yokohama's Endless Story! Their image is carefully crafted or spontaneous or both.
•Many songs have catch phrases or singalong sections to engage the audience. Many songs are in English and Japanese. Most songs are full of joy as well.
•They're having a ball. They enjoy performing. They enjoy the fans. They enjoy each other.
•Make no mistake, this is not a regular band.

I don’t believe they were ever in Indiana. But I wouldn’t be surprised one day. This band impressed me so much I flew from the US to Japan! They did a duo concert with The Warning. Ended with a new collaboration song. Welcome to Band-Maid. I’m 55 yrs old and gave up on music until I heard these ladies! #bandmaid

Welcome, WrighteousJ. You are embarking on (along with many others - over 200 million views just on their official YT channel, plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:

BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (130+ songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom.
Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular!
Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 70 favorites! "Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: th-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/w-d-xo.html Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Hate?, Shambles, Influencer, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on.
But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Sense, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): th-cam.com/video/7LB_EPS48HE/w-d-xo.html)
And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. th-cam.com/users/BANDMAID
Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE audience & online OKYUJI concerts:
 2023 Yokohama 10th Year Anniversary Concert “Endless Story” th-cam.com/video/Za1y-RRVd70/w-d-xo.html
     ONLINE OKYU-JI (Feb. 11, 2021) “No God” th-cam.com/video/nAdWnIRjGak/w-d-xo.html
     Tokyo's LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (February 14, 2020) “Domination” th-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/w-d-xo.html
     ZEPP 2018 “Real Existence” th-cam.com/video/-qQnKILR5u0/w-d-xo.html
 Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 and other full concerts are on bandmaidprime.tokyo, bili, and official Band-Maid’s DVD/BD/CD.
And some of the better quality fan videos are excellent. Here’s two of what it’s like to see Band-Maid LIVE at an intimate venue:
 Shot by Pat McKee from their 2023 US tour concert in Detroit: th-cam.com/video/DgxU-MVjta0/w-d-xo.html
     See the Maids 2023 Rockville Festival’s short-set perfection performance: th-cam.com/video/vjZkNeoGmhc/w-d-xo.html
If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, live streams, CD, DVD/BD & merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo
Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

    Band-Maid Members:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies. At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen!
Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 32 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!!
Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 32 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more!
Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party!
MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 31 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!
Maidiacs (Maid-e-acts) - Band-Maid’s crazed yet supportive, knowledgeable and loyal Super Fans.
    [BAND-MAID NEWS]
 BAND-MAID PRIME - Special Video Distribution Website. Along with nearly 50 great play-through’s by each member, concerts and skits, Band-Maid management / label(s) have included the Acoustic Christmas 2021, ZEPP 2018 and Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 concerts! Fans can now see more than 50 great live performances with awesome audio, etc. like Fate, I Can't Live Without You and the great MISA / Kanami exchange in Don't You Tell Me. Those concerts are two of the best produced & performed concerts ever recorded, IMO. bandmaidprime.tokyo
 The Maids SOLD OUT 2023 US & Mexico tour wrapped up and was a fantastic success. And so many great live fancams to watch! Their playing and antics were as fresh and fun to experience from first show to last. BRAVO Band-Maid!!!!! In addition, their Japan tour finished up with 13 concerts, AND they’re writing and recording for their new album. Their 10th Anniversary Tour concluded at Japan’s 17,000 seat Yokohama Arena on Nov. 26, 2023 and in Hong Kong Dec. 21! And their latest 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR SPIN OFF concert at KT ZEPP YOKOHAMA on February 22, 2024, where they played songs not performed at the 10th anniversary tour final at Yokohama Arena, was SOLD OUT, as usual!

They're getting more attention now, but they earned their dues. Together without change for over 10 years, grinding out over 400 live shows in 10 years, 8 if you count the pandemic. They started out in tiny clubs, sometimes in front of only a dozen or two in the crowd.

They are organically grown and the founder, Miku (rhythm guitar), is the founder and lyriicist of the band. You've only touched the surface. Watch NO GOD live or HATE? live. You are going to be stuck in the Band-Maid rabbit hole for a while ("Hate?" (live) and "From Now On" would be my suggestions). As for other bands that might be worth checking out The Warning (Hard Rock, 3 Sisters from Mexico, recommended song is "Evolve" (Live at the VMAs)) just did a show in Japan with Band-Maid (they are mutual fans, their meeting at Aftershock 2022 was cute).

Great reaction. Love seeing people being amazed by the Maids. There is a documentary series on the Ohrenje channel. A 7 part series, which sounds like a lot, but they are we produced, interesting, informative and entertaining. The time just flies by. Starts with Saiki, "The Queen", the lead vocalist. Followed by Kanami, "Mincho", the lead guitarist and the genius composer. Next up is Akane, "The Gorilla" on drums. Fourth, MISA, "The Barefoot Assassin", on the bass. And finally a 3 part series on Miku, "Small Pigeon", second lead vocals, backing vocals, rhythm guitar, main lyricist and band founder. Band-Maid's portfolio is deep and diverse. You heard a little rock and metal? Them mix genres all the time, and as you just saw, in the same song. Band-Maid is the genre...😂 Enjoy the journey...and welcome to Band-Maid. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
BTW...after the reaction, great music and voice. Look forward to hearing more.

A thing about the maid outfits, WrighteousJ: as Fans and Maidiacs know, Miku -- the 2nd guitarist, lyricist, founder and who worked at a maid cafe -- wanted to show that everyday working "Kawaii" girls dressed as maids in high heels while having fun and smiling could rock as hard as any guy band sweating it up in their hip, poor tortured artists "outfits"... and by showing that contrast (the Gap), it would generate interest, which it so successfully has done! It also represents Woman Power (Equality), which is an important theme with the Maids.
Now they show up as Maids for all band business and interviews, etc. and have created a long-lasting, unmistakable, visual band brand. Very cleaver, Miku. Your diabolical plan for world domination is working, Po! Of course, none of this would work if their music and stage performance wasn't at such a remarkably high level. Band-Maid is considered by many of their fans and Maidiacs to be the best hard rock band in the world - maid outfits and all!

Great reaction ❤ To loosely quote another Maidiac 😅
🎸 Bass solos by Misa are more likely to happen than not. 🥃
🎸 Guitar solos by Kanami are short and crisp
🥁 Akane on drums is 'a beast' 🦍🍌
🕊 Don't underestimate Miku Kobato: She is the founder of the band, bundle of energy, Maid Cafe magician 🪄, is invaluable as a second vocalist and also has a small solo project of her own (Cluppo)
🎙And there is Saiki: She was the Ice Queen but the Ice Queen has thoroughly thawed 🤣
🎶 More hooks, riffs and motifs in a song than most bands have on a full album.
💃Their LIVE videos are mostly superior to the official studio MVs, but the MVs are also excellent!
🎵 Many songs have catchy phrases or singalong sections to engage the audience. Many songs are in English and Japanese. Most songs are full of joy as well.
🥳 They enjoy performing. They enjoy the fans. They enjoy each other.
I don't know of any other band where the fans' playlists differ so much. So, this is just a quite random selection of songs: For some very special live videos try Freedom, Play, Real existence and Endless Story. With Moratorium (Live at Zepp), Rinne (MV) and Dice you can hear more hard rock while more catchy songs are Choose me (MV), Bestie (MV) and Alone (MV). And if you want to hear some ballads then maybe About Us (MV) and Daydreaming (MV) are good picks. But don't miss some of their instrumentals like From now on (MV) and Onset (Live). And finally a very special live performance is Manners/Blackhole (Official Online Live)🍌 And there is more: For example the songs with Miku in lead, their christmas acoustic concert and the 'cover band' Band-Maiko ;-)
But if you want to start at the beginning of their career (2013-2017) then go with Thrill (MV, their first video), Real Existence (second video), Alone (MV, first own composition), Freedom(best LIVE performance), Choose Me, Play (LIVE!), ...
    Have fun, po 🕊️

I had to travel from Indiana to see them a couple of years ago. Once to Philadelphia, once to Chicago. I understand why Indiana gets skipped by so many acts touring from overseas, but I suspect I am not the only hoosier who enjoys their music.

Yes, they describe themselves as "hard rock", but they have a LOT of influences from different genres, which does show up in their songs, and instrumentals.

Good luck with your release! And yeah, their Midwest gigs were packed. Just ask if you want suggestions for something specific. Can't go wrong with the Hate? official live suggestion mentioned elsewhere. As a performer, you might identify with how they ended their 3.5 hour 10th anniversary tour final show -- Endless Story official live -- a different kind of face melting.

    Band-Maid consider themselves Hard Rock.
They are the impossibly hard rocking maids. Their image is meant to be a contrast to their sound.
Also, they don't just rock, they love their ballads and also have some English songs. Their sound can vary so much and always sounds fantastic.
The community is always so welcoming as well.
    The more fans the better!
