I am not ashamed to say that I have slipped into total 80's melt down!! OMG where did I put my neon lace gloves and hair bow..and my stack of rubber and rhinestone braclets ?!!!! Maybe they are tucked behind my oversized new romantics pirate collar tuxedo ruffle front blouse?
Why ist No DVD and CD from this Concert available? Superb quality for 1983.and i want live Material from the Island Tour also.all i cxn get is an mp3 Download from amazon.an 1 hour gig from that Hammersmith odeon ,May 1983
For some reason this concert was only released on VHS and laserdisc :/ wish they did a digital or DVD for it cause I'd like to see a higher quality version for sure.
So I have an update on this! A site called Music Video Resources is selling the concert on DVD that was remastered from laserdisc and I bought it and it's great! Hope this helps someone :D
I dont know...but I like Limahl singing this song better than Nick Beggs. Dont get me wrong Nick Beggs can sing which was evident in Turn your back on me. BUt Limahl got the perfect voice and energy
Kajagoogoo music is in inverse proportion to their image. GREAT music but a dreadful image. The music and talent in abundance. And sound-wise they are even better but worse still image wise....and that's a shame because they've always deserved to be a massive world-wide hit along the lines of Duran Duran etc.
@@mbrady2329 Speak for yourself. I'm with Wendy. And even tho Limahl was the obvious heartthrob, Nick has a way of drawing the eye to him, at least for me. I actually like his look in 1983. You should see him now in a kilt and pigtails, sometimes with a cowboy hat. And he still reads all male, especially in how he plays his bass. But it's actually more spiritual. I can feel his bass resonate deep inside. Whatever's on the outside doesn't really matter, but I rather liked his look and the body language that went with it. He was a very cheeky guy then. And now he's a dad, a world-renowned musician, and a disgruntled dissident. Not to mention he is a one kick-ass human being, the kind we should all be more like.
I had this on vinyl back in the day. It was a B -side
The video and audio quality is really good for 1983! Almost seems like this concert was filmed during this decade!
Just a bit quite is all really.
It really isn't.

This entire concert was wonderful! I love Limahl's movements during the whole show. So great. I watch it at least once a week.
Just discovering this. After 40 years this still inspires much bopping around and happiness. ❤☮🌎

Très bon groupe beau clip merci j’aime 😍
So glad a HQ version of this audio exists on Yt now ❤ look up BBC in Concert version for it. 🙏🏼
that is actually a different night than this show. Compare the recordings and there's some slight differences.
Should’ve been a single this. Up there with anything the human league put out. Interesting the early new wave scene in the 80s was

Huh?? You're right about their abundant talent, but their image? You're a guy... Why don't you ask a girl!!
@@MrDanamp, c'mon - they were never remotely cool! Pity, because they were very talented.
