Because Corsair just got a Qi mouse pad from a Chinese manufacturer and didn't do much beyond slapping their logo on it. Maybe the next one will be RGB and only cost $129.
They should have developed a solution that had both soft and cloth pads, along with RGB implementation. Both competitors have RGB (even though the Logitech is only on the logo, it's still a nice subtle lighting zone) and Soft/Hard cloth options.

Anyone looking at this video now, both Hyperflux and the MM1000 are discontinued and powerplay is still available. That tells me enough for what to choose.
I got a Hyperflux around 2 years ago but even getting that second hand was extremely hard already, managed to find one nearly new barely used. It's still going strong and I love it a lot. Unfortunately I couldn't find any used ones in the EU now at all, I wanted a second one for my other rig so I settled for the Logitech, pretty much the sole survivor but at least widely available. lol
It makes more difference to the look of your set up than anything. Rgb doesn't add anything but it just sorta fits in and is nice to have like when you walk into your room and go to sit down at your desk and you have your rgb keyboard and mouse its just a nice feeling like your set up feels a bit nicer more tidy or something its weird to explain
Corsair bundle is $99.00 for both.. You want to pay $250.00 for RGB? And the Corsair Qi is Standardized. The rest are locked to their product only. They also don't include the Adapters to charge phones. iPads. Wireless headphones. And if you want to change surface types. Just put the one you like on top. As I have several pads for mine. Any 10"x10" works fine...
Does the logitech 903pro wireless charge work witk corsair matt i must say im logitech fanboy but corsair looks awesome as well and i hate razer the most
There's something else i would consider to mention. The fact that the power base of the firefly is on the top left could be an advantage in terms of cable manegement (for right handed people); I mean, you can put the cable under the top edge of the keyboard.
***MY OPINION*** Razer for size, Logitech for tech, Corsair for USB passthrough, Logitech for quality/reliability, Razer & Corsair for mouse switch, Logitech for looks, Razer for RGB, Razer for no branding. Id says to get the Logitech one if you have good money and the Corsair one if not because it's cheaper and it's still good (it has universal charging). personal preference. also if you game more I would get the G703 (the other compatible powerplay mouse) instead of the 903 because it has better switches inside. Weird. Most people have the exact opposite experience with Razer and Logitech when it comes to the whole QC angle. Thankfully, Logitech CS is awesome and they have great warranty support, tending to just send replacements without even asking for old stuff back. Razer has horrible support and never replaced a defective keyboard of mine that was within warranty.
I cannot choose between Logitech or Cosair, razer was my first pick until I heard the battery life and how it cannot work without eachother. @@ivvitan id recommend returning and getting the G502 without the magical carpet. You keep saying the Logitech g903 works with bluetooth... Where do you see this? I'd like to stick with Logitech G products, but I think the Corsair is the only mouse with both wireless options.
If it has the wireless charging functionality. The G900 does not work because it lacks that module for wireless charging and you can not aftermarket add it either.
I know Logitech doesn't advertise it, but the G403 Wireless also works with PowerPlay. Source: Legit Reviews did an article about it. Google: PowerPlay works with G403.
@Michael Carriere can you spot a major advantage in using this than the wired mouse? It must have an advantage as it costs a lot more to make it worth it..
Wired mouse = a less cluttered desk space, and with today's wireless mice, there's no negative impact. Also Razer is #1, Logitech has a horrible design to their mouse and pad, and there isn't any rgb lighting.
Michael Carriere Please explain yours lol I already stated why I believe they’re superior since the statement is an opinion. Logitech tries too hard with their design, making it look unseemly. Razers designs are usually always very tasteful. And they constantly try for innovation, which as a customer from their beginning, I thoroughly enjoy. People knock off this wireless mouse as retarded because it can’t go mobile (even though it has a cable to plug in for that). It’s the lightest wireless mouse out there for gaming which matters a lot in fps’s. If I want a cheaper alternative that caters to the casuals who just bought their first gaming pc, I’ll go with Logitech. But until then, I’ll stick to the rgb king.
The pads have all one problem: You can not buy spare mouse pads when the old one got dirty or used up. Not very sustainable. The other pads mostly come with kids carnevals RGB lighting. Not up to my taste all the time... I hope there will be better quality on the market soon
randomfrankp what i mean u can still use it without the firefly.. as a wired so u can use it anywhere if ur lazy to bring the firefly cuz its big it takes alot of space..
I dont know you can use it on a laptop or maybe a computer without the mousepad, that's what i meant. For instance let's say you get your corsiar mouse with you and you forget the mousepad with you or a wireless charger, and then you can't charge it. For the razer you don't need the mouse pad, you can plug it in a laptop you just need to take the cable with you. Even tho the cable is annoying

I recently bought the Basilisk Ultimate. Logitech with a charging carpet costs 2x more. What's the point of overpaying?
@@ivvitan id recommend returning and getting the G502 without the magical carpet. The middle mouse button is very difficult to press without initiating scroll and the charging station it comes with is too finicky, making it almost as practical as just plugging it in. the infinite scroll is also more useful than expected.
@@rsALEX Razer Basilisk lasted 2 weeks on a single charge, after which I just docked it for 3 hours. No problem!
Logitech powerplay wireless + G502 Lightspeed = PERFECT
xZatera until you see the price ..
xZatera I have the power play and the g905
You keep saying the Logitech g903 works with bluetooth... Where do you see this? I'd like to stick with Logitech G products, but I think the Corsair is the only mouse with both wireless options.
does the logitech one work with any logitech wireless mouse?
L4MB0 No only with the logitech g903 and the g703
If it has the wireless charging functionality. The G900 does not work because it lacks that module for wireless charging and you can not aftermarket add it either.
L4MB0 only with the newest G903 and G703
I know Logitech doesn't advertise it, but the G403 Wireless also works with PowerPlay. Source: Legit Reviews did an article about it. Google: PowerPlay works with G403.
Lmao intelligence at its finest
Even if i hate Corsair, that looks cool. My wallet gonna be thiner lol.
John Han why do you hate corsair
I have the Logitech Powerplay mat with the G903 and it is pretty great. Haven't felt anymore latency than a wired mouse.
Love logi but I need my dpi shift.
Love my 502.
Orrrrr just charge your goddamn mouse
And buy a glorious 3XL mousepad to fit your entire desk
THANK YOU for putting out the fact that it isn't FULLY wireless because the mousepads have a wire
Yehey, you did my request! Awesome quality content as always!
i still want my damn toaster razer
I don't need a fancy mouse pad. I just need a decent one.
1st razer
2nd Logitech
3rd Corsair
Just get a steel series mouse pad
Thanks to this vid i went out and got G903 and Powerplay. I was sceptical at first but now i am a believer.
Or you could just buy a Qck+ and a mouse bungee
this
Just buy a glorious PC gaming race 3 XL extended
The point of the mousepads here is that they charge the mouse while you play...
Out of the 3 mousepad and mice combo
1.LogitechG
2.Razer
3.Corsair
You should still buy a wired mouse instead.
Michael Carriere You can’t call that rgb lighting lol that’s literally just the logo
Michael Carriere It’s not rgb lightning, and it’s not superior to other brands lol
*not hating* but whts the point of glowing mousepads (dont say it looks good, i get that) if you can get a cheaper one that
can be better than that
Same
Omar Alsaid RGB mousepads are retarded
Because why not? :D
Remain Unknown Oh shut up Remain Unknown its not everyones thing but wha5s the point of saying that
It has built in wireless charging for the mouse
I would get the HyperFlux from Razer but it's overpriced
in my opinion the 903 is a god -awful mouse to hold frank
yeah it's so ugly
like, low key. i cant hold it since it feels terrible in my hand, and a claw grip is uncomfortable on it as well
how comfortable a mouse is to use is very subjective. Grip and hand size can vary quite a bit between two people.
yeah. thats why I use the G700s. nice arch for my hand and I can switch between palm, claw and fingertip grips if I have to on the fly.
Wargaming Super Noob personally I love the feel of the g903.. I don't know if I can go back to razer after using the g903
I just wished the make an extended edition of any of them :(
Why? For wireless keyboards?
you can use the hyperflux without the firefly cuz it has a wire that can turn into wired version as u mentioned
yep thats what he didn't mention in the pros... He only mentioned it randomly thru out the video
ikr
Why would using a wireless mouse with a cable be a pro??? That makes no sense
randomfrankp what i mean u can still use it without the firefly.. as a wired so u can use it anywhere if ur lazy to bring the firefly cuz its big it takes alot of space..
With logitech also g403 wireless works (unofficially)
G502 for 49$...enough said, wireless is overrated
Ikr you can get one of the most used mice for gaming the Razer Deathadder chroma for only 60$. Wireless in really overrated.
BlakeF1991 i saw g402 on sale for $20
gorazd kotevski deathadder is trash.. Corsair m65 pro or g703 is SOoo much better
And why buy a wireless one to have a fat mousepad cable across the desk.
wouldn't say. That mouse has been the best mouse since it came out. It has won numerous awards...
what is the best mousepad for G502 mouse?
G640 pad vs Qck+ pad?
I recommend the G640 i have it its great!
Corsair ❤️❤️☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼
Hicham El Fahd logitech g 👍🏻
Corsair my god
Great video Frank! :)
LOVE your vids!
