Never mind "thanks for watching .... " Thanks for posting! I have flown various powered a/c, gliders, and once parachuted - never again. I have to say watching what you do gives me the greatest collywobbles! I salute you.
Smooth landing, good job. That was very enjoyable to watch, very peaceful. You can kind of see the curvature of earth when you are up there and look out straight. Thanks. Tony
Another great video Sandy. This one has such extraordinarily spectacular views, I had to watch it twice. Thanks for such an awesome tour of your wonderful country and countryside. What a great way for you to be able to spend an afternoon. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hi Sandy, you brought back some memories when you flew over Farringdon. My family and I use to go camping between the 1976 and 1980s just outside Farringdon at a pub which was on the Thames. (I think it was called the Barge) which was burnt down in the early 1980s. We could have passed you in the High St., when we went to buy Lardy Cake from the bakers.
Hi Sandy. What wonderful way to spend the day. Your flight was so calm and peaceful....almost as if the paramortor flight was part of your body. For a few moments I thought you were a bird soring and playing in the wind. Looking forward to your next adventure... Peace, Ken
38.8KM in just over an hour, lol, that is awesome. I see the English countryside is really short on woodland Sandy. So much farmland. Great stuff buddy. Cheers Moose.
Hi Sandy so cool to see my lovely Home countryside especially very unforgettable White Horse. I remember walking to Coxwell with Dave Pearce to visit his Grandparents as a 5 year old. Dave said let’s go to Grandmas well we made it there was quite a walk in hot summer heat to. Got bit of a wallop for not telling Mum. All the best Robert Smith New Zealand.👍👍👍
Very interesting. Do you mean Dave Pearcey? Because if so Dave was my cousin. Dave would have grown up in Shrivenham and indeed would have had grand parents living in Little Coxwell at the time. (Late 1950s) In fact both sets of grandparents came from Little Coxwell in Daves case. We shared maternal Grandparents, they would have been Frankhams and lived just up the road between the pub and the allotment gardens in Coxwell. Sadly Dave Pearcey passed away in 2015from cancer. He ran his own car repair business for many years
Nice video Sandy. Must be so peaceful looking down on the world. Out on the Moors with Si the same night, the wind defo picked up on Friday eve and was a tad cooler in the morning too. Looking forward to catching up next weekend 😉
Hi sandy great video as usual I remember in January when I started my training doesn’t seem that long ago now but I’ve done 85 flights now Keep them coming 👍
Back in my old B-777 days I used to love my Gatwick layovers, because there was an eatery just a short cab ride away at a place called the Gatwick Manor House. There was a structure there called "ye olde Tithe Barn". Beautiful garden and reasonably good food with a fun pub and several traditional hand pulled cask ales. It was like a step back into time. When we gave up the Gatwick slots for the "convenience" of Heathrow, I started bidding other cities.
Great Sandy to share another flight with you and hear more about your connection to the villages and small towns that inhabit that beautiful countryside :)
Amazing! We share some hobbies like camping and ham radio but I will just watch you fly. I’m going to stay on the ground. I have seen some flyers doing this locally. You’re braver than me !
It sure was good timing Tony. Normally conditions become smoother in the evening but this was the other way around. I took off into almost nil wind. Still a fun flight though:) Happy landings Sandy
Absolutely fantastic Sandy. Was not really aware of Paramotoring before watching your channel (from following Jacklore as Im a newbie knifemaker) Incredible to be able to navigate the landscape like that. Do you have to tell the aviation authorities of your routes, in advance?
Hey Boss.. Can you do a video about how you like or dislike the Maverick Parajet? please. It ill be helpful to so many wanting to be like you.. God Bless.
Thanks Andy. We will have to have a flight together soon. Flew the other day with the two Tony's. Tony Wheeler made a video about the Challow crew. I was one of the pilots in the air:)
As I understand it, it is the movement of air in and around the fabric wing that makes it keep its airfoil shape. Would flying through "roudy air" make the wing lose its shape, and possibly cause a crash?
Hi Sandy! Another great video and although I love your camping, Bushcraft ones, I’m really getting into these special trips into the wide blue yonder! Quick question, while navigating is it just by sight, local knowledge or are you using OS maps/ aeronautical charts? Take care and l look forward to the next squadron outing! Kind regards, Clive from Gods own county.....Dorset!

I still find these paramotor videos fascinating.

No thats not the curvature of the Earth Tony, thats spherical aberration caused by the gopro wide angle lens

Amazing views of the hillfort and white horse from up there, a really lovely part of the country you live in Sandy. 😉👍

Wiltshire Man Yep, sounds like a plan. I saw the video :-)

Thats what can happen.
Very interesting video, one of your best. Are you restricted in the area that you fly ?
Great Video
Thanks William. I'm still alive:)
