My first and only run of Octopath was with Tressa, and her theme song was just so fitting and perfect for her journey, and to have a jazz rendition of it is enough to bring so much emotions.
I love Octopath 2 but there is still a lot to like about Octopath 1 despite it's flaws, especially the music. I saw a funny review on the 2nd game that could be applied to the 1st game, something about Octopath being a great album with an rpg on the side. I still love the 2 games for their gameplay which is my favorite turn based combat system and the stories even when they're not mindblowing can be fun. However, the music is what makes Octopath, Octopath. Can't wait to see what Octopath 3 brings. Also, Tressa's theme is amazing
That trumpet coming in over the bass at the beginning sent chills down my spine. I should play octo again sometime soon.
