I've had good luck with resin minis on Temu, great prices and good quality.
@@davidwilkins9651 Even at the "sale" price, I can get it a my LHS for about $10 less, and not take the chance of the postal service possible destroying it.
Temu is doing damage to the modeling industry. most of the wooden kits are Chinese knock off kits with poor quality wood and worse instructions, blatant copys of respectable brands kits. Many of the prices on Temu are fictional for example Trumpeter 1/350 HMS Warspite reduced from £189 to £90. I can buy it for £53 from Jadlam. While there are some deals to be had when you first join with the vouchers if you are carful once you have spent £100s to get your coupon savings you will be left with access to limited brands and rouge pricing.
People do need to always look around for the best deal that makes financial sense to them. Just because some kits are more expensive doesn’t mean they all are, and prices do change from time to time, same with any retailer really I don’t tend to buy wooden kits as that’s not my interest, but every model featured in this video was an authentic product from a genuine brand
@@ModelMinutes you need to keep on top of temu pricing , sometimes there special offers are more expensive than normal , other than that never had a problem and i buy loads from them
Ive been checking prices of Temu models against domestic ones and found temu prices are higher in some cases. That M142 Himar model costs $25, but I see it for $22-24 locally. One plane model was $50, but I saw it by several shops for $38. So I strongly advise checking each model against your local hobby shop first. I have bought some really decent items from Temu like paint, brushes, glue, and other household stuff, but always check before buying as some items can be priced higher.
I do regularly in AliExpress, never had a problem, some sellers even verify the contents in the box if you ask nicely, just so you don't have a surprise in the arrival, like a missing piece, etc. I don't know if it is worth it for you guys in Europe tho, the prices are kind of similar, in Brazil it is 100% worth, specially for kits of asian companies like Academy, Hasegawa, Tamiya, Trumpeter, Hobby Boss, etc...
For me in Chile it's 100% worth it most of the time. Meng makes some of my favorite kits but they aren't sold anywhere here. It's really good if you're looking for cheaper alternatives; in the biggest modelling shop here, for example, the 1/48 Tamiya F-16CJ costs $103 USD, which is an absolute rip-off but they know it'll sell anyways, while in Aliexpress you can find the same kit plus other variants like the Aggressor F-16 for way less at around $45-60 dollars (33 to 40 if you exclude tax+delivery costs).
the only thing I would mention is the hilarious mark-up on the RRP pricing, £221 for the Kate when Hannants sell it for £80. Without the app deal Temu sells it for £67 (+ £9 Exprs Del).
RRP is not a must sell price and is produced by the kit manufacturer. The prices we see are sale prices or a ‘by now’ price. The RRP is irrelevant and in this case may have some conversion issues from Chinese, Korean markets?? I really struggle with your argument. Bob England
I bought a few modelling tools fromTemu a while back. They were very cheap, but the quality wasn't great. There were a couple of OK tools such as some nippers that I use mainly for cutting through large bits of sprue. They are not so great for cutting the parts off the sprue though.
I would be interested to hear comments from *anyone* that managed to purchase any of your displayed/promoted kits on the "bait" page *at the displayed prices* as brand new app users. I certainly couldn't and I have since deleted the app.
I found that I had to play around with the search terms to get some good results. Throw in words like “build, construction, diy” etc and it could help with results
Bad thing about Temu is it can take upto 3 weeks to get your order. Then there’s the fact the order is sent in a plastic bag and damaged most of the time. Another thing they send you get these items at 70% off but once you buy they charge full price and watch if you delete something from the shopping cart when you place the order I had items put back on that I had deleted
I really would caution anyone against downloading the Temu app. It isn't subject to any sensible data protection or cyber security regulations. There are many experts who warn that it can allow access to most of the data on your device. Please do your own due diligence first.
I did read into this, there are the same issues with other websites and apps as well. Users should, as good practice, seek to secure their data as best they can through various means that are available to them
I would like to recommend you a crazy good and nicely priced kit, the FlyHawk FH6001 1/72 Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless. FlyHawk models are awesome in general, and the price is incredible for the quality.
I live in cyprus . There are no model shops here .. all my kits come from the EU . I build armour . Ive now had 4 kits off Temu . 2 meng .. 1 trumpeter 1 boarder all 1/35 . All kits are original and definitely not knock offs . All deliverd with 10 working days . And much less than half the price shipped from the Eu .. .. i will be buying my kits off temu ....
I just pre ordered an Airfix A18001V 1/24 Harrier GR.1 from Jadlam for £49.95 with free shipping, It retails at £96.99, That is hard to beat and i am supporting a company here in the UK 👍
Nothing wrong with getting support or sponsorship as long as you give honest feedback on quality etc. As far as I can see Matt hasn't built them yet so let's see what the feedback is when he does. Bit unfair to give the guy stick before he has had the chance to give an informed opinion once they have been built in my opinion. Keep it going Matt.
I did wander when they would start to sell model kits i have been looking on there for a good while now and i would of not bothered if i didnt see this video thanks matt for the info i wont get the discount but il keep my eyes peeled for a bargain
As with everything bought from China one does need to be careful. I've bought a few things and not been that disappointed. Clothes are not really worth it, the sizes are odd, they shrink a lot when washed and the quality is low. Then again, if you have paid £1 for a T-shirt what does one expect? Electronics are OK, but not always rated as they say. Check the sizes on everything, as some things are a lot smaller than one would think. I bought a carpenters square and it was tiny ... good for models, mind. As to models, there has been some suggestion that just because it says, for instance, Meng on the box, does not mean it is. The RRP is also a joke. Things do tend to arrive on time, and not too bashed about. As always caveat emptor.
I can kind-of understand the issues people may have with someone accepting sponsorships from temu, the site itself really is not all that great in general. From what I know, they don't really seem to scam people over things but the issue rather sits in the quality of most products available. In this case however I don't quite see the issue. Model kits seem to be one of the better things to buy there if you can get known-brand ones for cheaper prices. Considering that this channel is focused on plastic models, promoting the site for the sake of buying sometimes cheaper model kits really isnt nearly as bad as people make it out to be. If your main concern is about the ethics of buying on temu, then I can understand why one may be upset. But in case of model kits, the quality of products does not seem to be an issue, if you can get your hands on kits from Hobby Boss or especially Trumpeter for reduced prices. (Trumpeter is from china afterall)
I think you have put this across in a very easy to understand way - points that I have tried (but probably not explained particularly well) to portray in some of my earlier responses. Everything shown in this video was from an official manufacturer as a genuine branded product, with everything being sealed in their respective bags. Whilst I can't say I know enough either way in relation to some of the claims that other commenters have made previously, I wouldn't have agreed to the sponsorship had they sent out the samples and they all be "dodgy". From where I was sitting at the time, everything seemed legit (and my research seemed to reinforce that). There may be other concerns, but I have not seen any evidence of that whilst working on this video, and with 15 million users of the Temu app in the UK (at the time i'm writing this comment) I'm not sure how much harm I alone could have caused by getting a few plastic model kits from them . . .
I really like the Chinese model kits, I think they are fantastic value for money and easily compete with modern day airfix and revell. They also offer a large selection of subjects and at a variety of scales.
@@ModelMinutesdisgusting you have absolutely no shame in the fact you took this paid gig from a company that is known to harvest and sell users data. Truly despicable.

I work in a retail shop selling tools and fully 90% of our product would meet your definition of "directly funding concentration camps". Of course, my local purchases are, to use the same definition, paying for a genocide in the middle east. The world is a cess pit but we can all be amazingly selective about which muck upsets us.
I've purchased numerous kits through Temu (all from the same seller), all were legit, and all were at least half the price that I'd have paid at a local store
Cheers Matt, I have used Temu for a while now but never thought of getting models from them. I used your code and even though I live in Saudi Arabia I still got a discount, I bagged two kits (the Beagle and a 1/144 mig 21) and a couple of car cleaning products for £30 equivalent delivered. Bargain
I'm on there now. Heard some comical stories about what gets sent isn't what you think ie a 1/200 Bismark for $40 and its a combo of Lego and kit parts haha however they do have trumpeter and free shipping. Concerned that it says I'll get $260 worth of coupons but only after I pay. They do have afterpay for us junkies. Very tempting
Whilst I have heard some crazy things, it is no worse than other companies I have shopped with and some of the stories you hear from them too. Fortunately, as my first try using Temu everything here came as expected. I hope the coupon works for you, they did tell me it was all working correctly
Early start on your side of the planet? I've seen the 'rendition' of the Bismark. I'd buy it if only they still sold fireworks in New Zealand hehe I'm hunting their trumpeter. Price isn't an issue because we don't have a trumpeter distributor in New Zealand and it's free shipping and afterpay.
I Have Some HO Scale Buildings, 1/64 Scale Vehicles, I Have Few Battleships and a Carrier I Got From TEMU and AliExpress No Issues At All With My Purchases I Also Bought Shirts From Both Sites .. No Complaints At All
Thanks for showing the Mastiff; been thinking of getting that. I'm not familiar with Temu; is it much different than getting anything from eBay or is temu a company that happens to carry models?
I built mobile suit gundam kits more than military aircraft, tanks and ships. The quality of the build is good, the quality of plastic is ok and the price is cheaper than bandai's officially gundam kits.
What they don't tell you is if you want your £100 discounts you have to buy in about 6 or 7 different orders. You can't use them all at once which sucks.
I get a lot of the more extortionately priced kits direct from China for a fraction of the price, everything that is fairly priced or the kit matches the value in my opinion, then I get them from my local shop
Not sure why it’s a great thing to get your purchased item in 14 days or a week. Both are super long time frames. I’m sure china makes models but I’d you but from then that may or may not be buying from the US and reselling them to you. Well that doesn’t make sense. But then again maybe that time frame is good FOR you in the UK. Doubt you will get a bunch of support from your audience though
I've always been suspicious of Temu adverts believing they're all too good to be true. That said, a couple of weeks ago Alex Mann bought a couple of tools from them and did a review and they looked OK. With this review as well I may give them a look.
These are the named brand kits so they will be in good order and competitively priced. It's knock off brands Temu deals in that you need to steer clear of. For the price though I would say stick with Amazon as their return policy is much better should any issues occur. That said Temu is ok so long as you stick to higher reputable brands.
@@ModelMinutes they are limited to choice but the ones I have are really great detail and under a 10er so can't go wrong really great for practicing gave painting which I am rubbish at
I used Temu for a month or so. I bought some clothing and a pair of shoes. I wasn't expecting top-quality and wasn't surprised, although the shoes were actually quite nice. My wife wasn't happy with my purchases, though, and suggested I was supporting Communist China. And like some other comments here, I try to patronize my local shops.
I am very wary of things like this Matt. Gave it a try...So far so good, everything was easy to do. Says delivery of the kit should be within 7-9 days. I will let you know if it all goes smoothly👍 Cheers James
That’s an impressive haul! I’ve used Temu before and have had no issues with them. I’d be really interested in seeing the HIMARS kit build, never heard of the company before and the inclusion of 3D printed wheels is something new to me 😉 Great vid and!
Ok, while i think its fair to say Temu has and can offer a good service ! Has anyone else has this issue ??? I wanted to order from Temu for MONTHS now, to find out for myself is it worth the postage times and how good items are but, have worries about receiving items from them ! The very first problem i had was just a valid address. To be sure to have NO ISSUES qith receiving items. ( in short i cant add the correct address ? ) I have ask for help and was a surprise to have a very fast reply from Temu, by internal text on the app, which was at first, very reassuring but was soon let down in the end ( for short, again : ) a waste of time because they can not add the correct address for me as the system ( the're System ) will not allow EVEN them ! or allow me to so, very polite but are now just ignoring me altogether so have to come to the conclusion that they just a " lets go with the numbers," people i.e. majority are hapoy so ??? So funny how they are so easy and fast to ask you ( model Minutes ) to showcase Models for them ?! Guess i live in a part of London thats unknown 😂 would still love to have an answer from you Temu 😅
Hi yes, I was in contact with them ! They still have not answered or addressed the problem... its simply a case of them putting in the right address, I don't get what the problem is and would have thought thay would be happy for a new customer 😊 anyway, will keep trying . Great models by the way, wish I had the space ... Lol Thanks
Total scam. Downloaded the app, scanned the QR code. Every time I ordered a kit ,the app showed a window saying I would get a voucher at the checkout. I ordered £126.00 worth of modelling kits and tools. When I got to the checkout there were no discounts or vouchers and they wanted £156.00.
I wonder if it is worth contacting customer support and referencing them the code etc that you used from the video because it sounds like something has gone wrong there
@@ModelMinutesthis is just the TEMU m.o. Send creators vouchers and get them to give out promo codes that don't work but might fool a few more people to sign up.
@@ModelMinutes I have gone back to Temu a couple of times. I stand by what I previously stated Temu is a total scam. When you respond to their emails you are given the impression that you will get a discount on the listed price on their website. When you get to the checkout you find that the listed price is the discounted price and often it is no different from what you would pay on eBay or Amazon and sometimes far more expensive. Best regards. Eric.
I look at TEMU every couple of years. Their selection is too thin and the prices aren't worth the hassle for one or two kits. Maybe they'll be good in 2026?🤣
Interesting, but some of their prices are quite pricy. Most can be had cheaper at my LHS, with the exception of the Mastiff. Guess if they are free, doesn't much matter.
You should 100% buy the kits where you can find them for the best value. Temu just asked me to demonstrate what they have and if you can get them cheaper elsewhere then that’s fantastic. Perhaps they will read these comments and lower their prices to compete with these other sellers if they can 🤷♂️
Have to say, the RRP showing on these kits is just ridiculous, the end price isn't anything to write home about either. All this "new app user" nonsense as well, codes available all over the net for new apps. Disappointed that you've went down the route of 'hype-ing" temu for a few free models. Also might add, I've just went onto temu in my browser, not through any links here.....and received a £200 voucher! Ooooh I can't decide what not to buy!
Just took a look, their RRPs are ridiculous, just to make the selling price look like a bargain. the Magic Factory 1/48 Corsair shows an RRP as £139.99 - a bargain at only £58.64! Best price I could see on Ebay is £42.60 with free postage. I won't be adding them to my buying site list. I stand corrected from my original post, I called this a review but it is obviously not.
This is not a review, nowhere is this video stated as a review. It is very clearly advertised as a sponsored video and sometimes I have to agree to sponsorships in order to be able to fund the video creation process
Agreed with @ModelMinutes. Matt's always up-front and honest about his reviews / sponsorships and I /like/ that if he doesn't like something he says so. It gives me confidence that when he /does/ like something that it's worth a look. The RRPs /are/ very wide of the mark which makes me mistrust /them/, but then I already did.
@@julianmhall I do try and be as honest as I can with everything that I do on this channel. In relation to the previous person's comment about the RRP, its not the RRP that you are purchasing the product for but the listed price. Sometimes Temu makes mistakes and lists the wrong price for the RRP but I would only take notice of the price they are charging you as that is what you will have to pay. If people didn't buy from websites that made mistakes I guess they wouldn't buy directly from the official companies either, because I have spotted mistakes on official websites too
@@ModelMinutes When all the kits you include here seem to have that happen, do you really think that's just "a mistake"? I think there's a slight difference between someone accidentally getting the wrong RRP for a product once or twice, and exaggerating RRP prices to a wild extent multiple times in a way that is advantageous to them as it misleadingly implies it's a far better deal.
@@nightlord131 I don't pretend to know how Temu lists their items on their website, this would definitely be something to take up with them directly if you wanted to investigate it further

Some of the screenshots I showed on the screen were not necessarily a reflection of the price at the time I ordered it - you gotta keep an eye on them as they do change from time to time

@@psychodermix thanks very much! Yes, there are a lot of comments here which I didn’t really expect to see on a video where I look at model kits from an online store, but it’s just one video where I’m benefiting from a little extra support from a brand to keep the channel above water for the next few months so that I can make more content I guess this was a more controversial subject than I had bargained for 🫠

All quality kits, but I don't trust temu. Much rather give my money to Andy's Hobby Headquarters, Hobbylinc, or Hobbytown. Temu reminds me of Banggood.
@@ModelMinutes I wouldn't really say that your experience is really indicative of what an ordinary person might get though, as they sponsored you so they'd have extra reason to ensure it goes alright for.
@@nightlord131 of course what you say could be true and I would have no knowledge either way. Have you bought model kits from Temu? Perhaps sharing your experience might add further context
Having done a video sponsored by Temu myself, with another one coming out, I have to say I'm very disappointed with the way some modellers have commented and treated Matt here. Sponsorships help keep our channels alive, and as far as Temu goes, all we have done is received some modelling items from them and shown you - we haven't siad "these are great!" or "you MUST use Temu!" or anything like that - we've received, unboxed and shown some model products from the company, and the company has given us promo codes to allow people who WANT to buy from Temu some extra discounts or deals. So I ask, where's the foul? Matt has been 100% open and honest, as always. If you don't like Temu, neither he nor I are saying you should. If you've not used them before and fancy some of their offers, you can take them or not - your choice. I imagine most of this negativity is driven by other factors, and mainly comes from people who don't support Matt financially, yet expect regular tips, tricks, builds and reviews. I imagine those people wear clothes, use electronics and household items that come from or have components made in China. I also imagine the majority take a "holier than thou" approach with these things. To these people I would say - there are plenty of comments about choosing not to use Temu made below in a very respectful and personal manner, whilst still supporting Matt - try learning from them. Think about how your comment impacts both Matt and the channel before just blurting out some garbage based on some nebulous concept of your world view. He certainly puts the time and thought into his videos, the least you could do is the same in return.
Model makers are a "certain demographic" who will typically be very selective in their outrage. I daresay a look at the contents of their houses and garages would expose their hypocrisy and 'virtue signalling'.
@@ModelMinutes Not upset, just surprised by your vid as I know how much damage this business is causing other industries as well. Convinced me to unsubscribe even though i've been watching your videos for quite a while. It wouldn't have been difficult to look at reviews and comments from people elsewhere and see what people say about it, yet it appears you either didn't bother to even do that or saw it didn't care and decided to promote them anyway. That you didn't see that stuff and at least have some doubt / it wasn't questionable enough to stop you recommending just incase is already something that already seems bad, but to decide to advertise for them despite that and then go on to eagerly defend and argue against people expressing their concerns and recommending against it just comes across terribly. I expected much better from you.
I spent quite a bit of time researching Temu before I decided to agree to their sponsorship. From my findings the issues that some previous commenters have raised were indicated by many articles online to not have concrete evidence and not be worse than other companies that have also been accused of the same practices. I know people here in the UK who use Temu quite frequently and they tell me they have not had any problems with them, which is also the same experience other commenters have expressed here. Given that this video has a considerable number of likes compared to the dislikes indicates that most people are not particularly upset by my choice of sponsor and only those with the strongest of opinions are leaving their comments. I have tried to be as impartial as I can in these comments and present an alternative point of view, but not one single person here has cited a source for anything they claim against this company, it seems to be very much based on "I heard" and "it is known" which is just hearsay. If, in the future, it turns out that I have made a mistake then i will naturally own up to that, but for the moment It just seems to be a lot of differing opinions
Sorry Matt but I've unsubscribed too, for precisely the same reasons as @nightlord131 above. Arrogance is probably too strong a word, but your defensiveness is telling. A touch of humility might be a good idea, instead of attacking everyone who challenges you. As for your comment " but not one single person here has cited a source for anything they claim against this company, it seems to be very much based on "I heard" and "it is known" which is just hearsay. . . . " Truspilot can be trusted. There's some evidence for you. No doubt you'll be arguing that next.
Lol i didn't "crawl up" anywhere. Temu came to me, not the other way around.
Just because some kits are more expensive doesn’t mean they all are, and prices do change from time to time, same with any retailer really
I don’t tend to buy wooden kits as that’s not my interest, but every model featured in this video was an authentic product from a genuine brand
Thanks for sharing, it’s always worth shopping around for the best price
I do regularly in AliExpress, never had a problem, some sellers even verify the contents in the box if you ask nicely, just so you don't have a surprise in the arrival, like a missing piece, etc. I don't know if it is worth it for you guys in Europe tho, the prices are kind of similar, in Brazil it is 100% worth, specially for kits of asian companies like Academy, Hasegawa, Tamiya, Trumpeter, Hobby Boss, etc...
Thanks for sharing!
The RRPs are a bit odd, but ultimately it is the sale price it is listed at which would be the thing I would make my decision to purchase based on
RRP is not a must sell price and is produced by the kit manufacturer. The prices we see are sale prices or a ‘by now’ price. The RRP is irrelevant and in this case may have some conversion issues from Chinese, Korean markets??

I bought a few modelling tools fromTemu a while back. They were very cheap, but the quality wasn't great. There were a couple of OK tools such as some nippers that I use mainly for cutting through large bits of sprue. They are not so great for cutting the parts off the sprue though.
Thanks for sharing your experiences 😀
The prices of plastic model kits from Temu are at least twice as high as from other online model shops like Moje Hobby in Poland.
If the product is available cheaper elsewhere, its always worth looking around for the best deal
I've experienced the opposite, all the kits I've purchased (Border, Meng, Vespid) were far cheaper than I'd pay locally
I would be interested to hear comments from *anyone* that managed to purchase any of your displayed/promoted kits on the "bait" page *at the displayed prices* as brand new app users. I certainly couldn't and I have since deleted the app.
Sorry to hear that it didn’t work for, perhaps their customer services could resolve the problem
Their search engine is terrible. Look for model kits and get tee shirts, badges, and all sorts.
I found that I had to play around with the search terms to get some good results. Throw in words like “build, construction, diy” etc and it could help with results
Bad thing about Temu is it can take upto 3 weeks to get your order. Then there’s the fact the order is sent in a plastic bag and damaged most of the time. Another thing they send you get these items at 70% off but once you buy they charge full price and watch if you delete something from the shopping cart when you place the order I had items put back on that I had deleted
that's strange, everything came in boxes for me
I really would caution anyone against downloading the Temu app.

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!

There may be other concerns, but I have not seen any evidence of that whilst working on this video, and with 15 million users of the Temu app in the UK (at the time i'm writing this comment) I'm not sure how much harm I alone could have caused by getting a few plastic model kits from them . . .
Didn't know Temu had so many models! Aliexpress has some 1/144 scale aircraft that aren't very high quality but fun to experiment with.
I think they might be new and increasing their stock levels
I really like the Chinese model kits, I think they are fantastic value for money and easily compete with modern day airfix and revell. They also offer a large selection of subjects and at a variety of scales.
Yes, I have been rather happy with the products that I was able to get here
I really like your content but I don’t think I will purchase any of this, but I am still looking forward to your next video!

I look at TEMU every couple of years. Their selection is too thin and the prices aren't worth the hassle for one or two kits. Maybe they'll be good in 2026?🤣
Maybe their selection will grow
I thought I was sharing a good deal with the discounted prices, my apologies if I got the wrong end of the stick with this
Just took a look, their RRPs are ridiculous, just to make the selling price look like a bargain. the Magic Factory 1/48 Corsair shows an RRP as £139.99 - a bargain at only £58.64!
Hobby Lobby in the US is a pretty evil company. Hard to find a video with 200 comments saying so.
Very sketchy company
Can't say I know about that, they just asked me to check out the models they were listing on their site
Why? Cos uncle told you.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)
Model makers are a "certain demographic" who will typically be very selective in their outrage.
I daresay a look at the contents of their houses and garages would expose their hypocrisy and 'virtue signalling'.
They have bought your bum 😂
Okay..? 🤷♂️
Surprised you would advertise a company damaging our great hobby and the industry that supports it.
Just thought I was sharing some good discounts, my apologies if I misread the situation
@@ModelMinutes Not upset, just surprised by your vid as I know how much damage this business is causing other industries as well. I enjoy your channel and your very informative vids and look forward to further great vids from you. Been modelling since the mid-60's and I still find it brilliant when I learn a new "something" to do with our wonderful hobby.
Pretty expensive
May not be to everyone budget
Your latest post is an extended ad for Temu, many of whom wouldn't touch with a barge pole or 10 foot pole if you're from the US. I assume this is all news to you? Where have you been all this time🤔? No thanks
This video is sponsored, yes (and clearly indicated as such). Sponsored videos help me to fund the projects and video creation that I produce on this channel. Temu has 100 million users in the USA so it still seems like it is pretty popular there
@@ModelMinutes fentanyl is quite a hit in the USA too! :)
this didn't need to be sponsored. it would have done quite well but without the criticism and without you feeling you have to defend them
Temu asked me to make the video, which is how sponsorships usually go...
This may have been a sponsorship best turned away.
@@sorenzx1923 Why? I don't see how this would be any different if Ali express, Amazon etc had sponsored a video. I've had other sponsorships in the past from other companies too, i get the impression people just don't like watching videos that are effectively ads, its almost like there was a choice on your end in relation to that
Nearly 29 quid for a 1/72 kit. No thanks.
scale doesn't equal price, a 4 engine bomber in 1/72 scale can be £40+ for example
Go back in a week or two under a different name. See what you get .
playing the game i see
Weathering tutorial video
Any weathering specifically or like just in general - possibly engine and gunsmoke staining, use of washes etc?
@@ModelMinutes a beginners tutorial
@@warbirdgamer I'll see what I can do
Are the repetitive free stuff legit? Just wondering because it sounds suspicious to me
possibly a question for their customer services
No thanks. Spend your hard earned money with companies that support the hobby not exploit it. TEMU is nothing more than a crap game and you know who usually wins in the end.
thanks for sharing
Hmm. I get that you need to do sponsored ads occasionally but there’s nothing stopping you being selective over the companies you promote. Lost a bit of respect for this one.
I don’t understand why you would lose respect for me based on this video
@@ModelMinutes glancing over the comments I don’t think I’m alone
@@James-yy4vl the comments do indeed highlight some concerns, but the video has a high number of likes so there is a bit of a discrepancy there
With their prices, you never know if the product is safe, if it is not the product of forced or child labor. I wouldn't touch them with a 10m stick!
I can't speak for the other products they sell, all I know in this instance is that I received what was ordered and they were all from the official branded manufacturers
But you probably typed this on an iPhone and have bought Nike etc, this is no different.
@@Jimmythefish577 whataboutism 101... and nope, I try as much as possible to mind where and what I buy to avoid such horror. Here in the case of Temu I've seen some headlines where product sold by them where completely non-compliant and presented dangers to user's health...
Give us all your info. We're not at all dodgy. Oh no. You can trust us.
🤷♂️
Evidence?
Same as any other online retailer then?
@@jamessmith1652 The Temu app is well known for harvesting your personal info from your phone and sending it back to HQ. There were a lot of warnings about this in the USA a few months back.
Same as Facebook Microsoft Qualcomm chipped cellphones your countries tax service
Most of what you get is packed in a bag and arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all best to avoid them and ali express as well
I guess I was fortunate, these came in outer cartons
My purchases from AliExpress come very well packed. (This applies to Japan as well).
My buys from British online retailers, including one with a royal name that charges near-new prices for second hand, often arrive damaged.
@@arthurmee i'm just trying to be impartial. Take care
@@ModelMinutes Too late Matt. Try hrder.
Lol don't listen to the word salad boys. Some people just believe everything they have been told and don't get it.
Never shop at them. I shop at others . Site no Chinese temp.
Fair enough
It's terrible seeing TH-cam modelers crawl up to this terrible company. You can't see beyond your materialistic pleasure.
Lol i didn't "crawl up" anywhere. Temu came to me, not the other way around. They sponsored a video to highlight the kind of kits they have on their site and the sponsorship will help fund more projects and videos that I create. Sometimes I have to take on sponsorships to be able to create the content that you are able to watch for free 🤷
Wow so many haters on here. Look if you enjoy paying retail for your kits cool. But if I can get them cheeper from somewhere else I'll always pick the cheeper option.
What a wonderfully articulate advertisement plugging a cheap dubious trading platform where so much controversy and dire ratings seems the order of the day ! Well done…NOT !
I’m glad you think I’m articulate 😊
Matt you missed a great opportunity! Of course the kits you bought wouldn’t have any surprises as they can be bought anywhere!! I have some truly Chinese kits at £3,£4, £6, delivered and they so different!!
Why did you just buy what EBay or Amazon can offer?
Bob
England
PS where are my note books!!!?????
I guess those really cheap ones were not offered to me as part of this project
good chap
Thanks :D
No thanks, I haven't given this video a like.
you gave it a comment though, and that is good enough for me :)
I dont get it why does everyone wanna dump on another avenue to fair priced kits? Every kit we purchase puts our hard earned $ in a CHINA economy whats the difference? Im genuinely curious help me understand.
