The Broken Arrow murders took place on July 22, 2015, when five members of the Bever family were murdered in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, United States. Daniel Bever (aged 12) called 9-1-1, saving the lives of his sisters Autumn (2) and Crystal (13) by alerting authorities. Crystal, one of the two survivors, identified two of her older brothers, 18-year-old Robert and 16-year-old Michael, as the assailants. The brothers were subsequently arrested and charged with five counts of first-degree murder and one count of assault and battery with intent to murder. The perpetrators were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

      Scott-
I have a request, if you’re so inclined to do this. Some channels have “timed” comments available on their channel. I think it gets done on your end, maybe I’m wrong. Look at the tabs for comments. There’s “Top” and “Newest.” If you want to, maybe you can activate “Timed” comments. So when we make comments and include the time of the comment, all those comments will be included in that “folder.”
It’ll make it easier for everyone to find timed comments.
      -Thanks
      Love you guys so much!

I'm so annoyed because I really wanted to know what he said after the female cop chimed in and asked why he conned them to open the bathroom door, if he didn't want any more to do with it (words to that effect). And I can't understand one. single. word. of his reply.

This young man has a speech issue that, considering his age at the time of this video, makes me think was neglected to be worked with properly to help him.
I am not saying that justifies his choices and the awful things he and his brother perpetrated. I’m just pointing out that it’s pretty damn hard to be a teen as it is. Add a speech difference and other issues and it just compounds things socially/emotionally.
What a horrible, tragic, overwhelmingly terrible case.

He tells the lad that he'll be famous, people will want to interview him. The lad closes down and says he doesn't want to be interviewed about this. That felt like the first inkling of the weight of what he'd done. A few moments later, he looks down and to the side, heaving a sigh and in his own world for a moment-again, like regret. Then he pulls himself together again-trying to separate himself from what he'd been feeling in those moments. I could be wrong though?

I lived very close to this home of horror at the time of the horrific attacks and murders. The older brother actually testified in his little brothers trial stating how he was the only one that acted to attempt to lessen his sentence. Fortunately, the testimony didn’t help, and they both received the punishment they deserved.
Devastating case all around. The only reason they didn’t kill the infant was bc “they forgot,” but had the intention of decapitating the baby. The house has been destroyed and a memorial is in its place.

I'm with Mark this kid is hard to understand.
He kind of sounds like he has a southern accent mixed with a speech impediment.
He pronounced his brother's name as "Cwistophuhw" (W's instead of r's) and other words weird. Pairing that with mumbling I couldn't understand most of it.

He has a little bit of blonde hair.

When Scott says he has connected with this officer possibly, because he didn’t have this bond before , such as a father - son bond, The fact they he bonded now will probably harm his later in life because he may say to himself, damn, I let somebody in that I thought I could trust… and look what he did. He stabbed me in the back. (Retired behavioral psychologist)

I have too much empathy for people who have been victimized their whole lives. I know these killers belong behind bars but, I couldn't have put him there. This detective is amazing. He has the perfect job for his personality. I train people for different jobs and I always focus on the best parts of a person. This detective is a far better man than I am all day long.
