I actually have both phones. I love the S22 for it's small size and easier hand holding but the S21 FE's larger screen which is plus. I bought the S22 mainly for it's size which is easier to carry in your pocket. I don't much take pictures or videos but I mostly use both to watch movies and videos.

@@kanehi3275 thanks for replying. Im a bit concern bout the heating issues bc on samsung display the s22 is warm. But they indeed make it full brightness as display maybe it's the cause why it's warm when i touch it. S21fe is less warm when i touch it on the display
@@gracely30 The brighter screen doesn't really heat up the phone per se but rather it's what you're doing such as watching videos for prolonged periods. This is due to the battery and processor at work and the result is heat. It's warm but not uncomfortably where you can't touch it anymore.

S21 FE has a great mic
But noise cancelation isn't good enough
S21FE good results. S22 overall a little bit better.
I'm a fulltime photographer and filmmaker. The daylight photos of the S21 look way better. Better color, smoother image. During night the S22 perfoms better and the videoquality is better. Still tough decision because the portraits bokeh of the S21 feels more natural for example.
Which phone should buy for overall camera?
If we consider the Price difference S21 FE better choice, S22 is higher price.. S22 has better Snapdragon Processor and back camera but lower 3700mh battery its big issue.
Well both 888 and 8 gen 1 are just stoves but 888 has produced less heat than the 8 gen 1 in my experience and the battery usage are kinda same with s21 fe giving a little more backup, not bad at all.

what a complete and useful video. it cleared various stuff that I couldn't find out in a generalized review.
With those high end specs there is no logical reason for the front 4k video on S21 FE not to have any sort of stabilisation. They don’t support it on purpose.

On purpose they didn't put optical stabilization on S21FE, to force us to buy the S22 if we want that feature.
Image stabilization on S22 is very nice. Further the image quality difference is not much but S22 is slightly better with sharpness and somewhat true color
Was the scene optimizer on or off?
I would have liked if you zoomed into main sensor shots to see if there is a detail improvement for using the 50mp sensor.
I wish main sensor was a bigger improvement but to me so far s22 seems to be lacking dynamic range in its shots like those underexposed grass fences.
Apart from that, stabilisation on 60fps, ability to record 60fps on all lenses, better selfie camera and more natural colors are an advantage for s22. Though s21 have the stabilisation advantages so not much of an upgrade from that

It’s great that you include 4k recording, but given that the vast majority of people in the real world are just sharing videos socially with friends I hope casual viewers/buyers don’t give test results too much weight over 1080p. If someone is recording in 4k just to send it on WhatsApp or Instagram without editing they’re wasting some serious storage space.
Casual TH-camrs use phones for recording, 4K matters in that situation. But for most people video quality shouldn't be too much of a conserns.
@@Gamer-vs3xl Just curious, how many people do you think own 4k Minotors of 27"and higher to see a difference? I got a 4k 14" and a 1080p 12" laptop, watching this video on it there was no difference in quality on those small screens. good 1080p is still very much good enough for anything but tech youtubers. That being said, compare s22 ultra max plus whatever phone to a proper camera you will be shocked at how much better a camera can actually be at 4k.
@@emeukal7683 There is difference in quality because of Supersampling. That's why 4K content looks better on 1080p screen compared to 1080p content on 1080p screen. It is even noticeable on a phone screen.

If you look closely, I think the S22 is much better, even if it's grainy or noisy at night or in some dark areas. I have the S22 Exynos and the camera is good but not outstanding
S22 takes photo in more natural way compare to s21fe
